Can you stop lying, Guan Eng! You’re starting to believe in your own lies!

Lim Guan Eng has consistently claimed that under his administration, he has reduced the state debt by 95 per cent from BN’s RM 630million when he took over in 2008.

He likes to paint himself as a competent CM who knows how to manage the state’s money by reducing it to RM 30million as at the end of 2011.

That means a debt reduction of 95 per cent or RM 600million – which in his own words, the highest debt reduction of any state in Malaysia’s history.

Wah so clever.  If that was accurate and true, this portal would be the first to thank him. How can a rationale person dismiss someone’s good work.

But unfortunately we have found out Guan Eng’s misrepresentation of figures and facts -  if he runs a public listed company and he puts these false figures in his company’s annual report, he would be charged by the Securities Commission and jailed.

What LGE has done is to transfer the debts to the Federal government!  In simple layman’s language, pass the debt to your father or grandfather to pay off!

He has deviously omitted as on June 2, 2011, the state-owned  Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang entered into a water restructuring agreement with the federal government. This was done via the Pengurusan Asset Air Bhd, a company under the MOF.

Under the agreement, this company takes  over existing water assets  in the state and transforms water operators into asset light entities.

In return, PAAB will assume the state’s outstanding federal water supply loans of an equivalent sum. With a single stroke, the state’s RM 655million owing  to the federal govt is rationalised by alienating state loan related water assets to PAAB.

For a lease of 45 years, the state will pay a rental of RM 14.6mil annually for the same period.  With this transfer, the state government is relieved of the debt. In simple English, the state’s loan has simply being re-classified as a result of the federal government’s move – and not the result of LGE’S super intelligence.

In fact, other states also benefitted from such a move before 2008. It has nothing to do with Penang’s excellent fiscal management or the state’s prudent management skills. But LGE and his spin doctors have cleverly made LGE made him a hero with such manipulation of facts and figures.

There are plenty of Pakatan supporters who believe anything and everything spewed by their leaders.

A doctored Utusan Malaysia page 1 interview of  Rosmah Mansur claiming she saved millions of ringgit has even become a fact with Pakatan leaders and supporters using it as part of their propaganda, believing it as a real page1!

We believe this economic explanation regarding the transfer of the debt is too complicated for the incredible simpletons of DAP to understand. So  continue believing what LGE has to tell you and continue to believe he still travels business class – yes, of course, between Penang and KL or via Firefly which has no class anyway!

    • Jimat Wang says:

ROSMAH MANSOR likes to be introduced as the First Lady of Malaysia, but for Sydney fashion designer Carl Kapp, she is his first lady of shopping.

The wife of the Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib Razak, is known across Malaysia simply as FLOM (First Lady of Malaysia), and is Kapp’s biggest customer, having dropped an estimated $100,000 in his boutique ordering garments during a private holiday in Sydney a little more than a fortnight ago.

”She was absolutely gracious and very easy to deal with,” Kapp told PS this week, agreeing she was nothing like the woman often portrayed in Malaysian media for her allegedly extravagant lifestyle.

In recent months, Mansor, who stayed with her husband in the $20,000-a-night penthouse at The Darling hotel, has been forced to deny reports she had bought a $US24 million diamond and a $US200,000-plus crocodile skin, bejewelled Hermes handbag. Kapp, who has a keen eye for such bags, having worked for Hermes, said he did not see any such handbag when he met her.

What her critics in Malaysia will make of her Sydney shopping spree, first reported on local fashion blog Frockwriter, is yet to be determined.

Kapp, who became suspicious of the identity of his mystery VIP customer when his Oxford Street store received a flurry of calls requesting valet parking for her limo, said he was being flown to Malaysia next month with a collection of ”toiles” for Mansor to try on before completing her massive order of 61 dresses, pants and tops.

All made from the finest silk and in a variety of exotic colours and prints, Kapp said his new muse had ”a very good eye for colour and she likes a lot of prints”.

I sympathize Rosmah for all the unwanted and negative reporting of her. She should take all legal recourse to clear herself from such slandering if it slandering! She has to make time for this to happen as it involves the intergrity of our country called Malaysia. Seek Gani Patail’s valuable experiences for advices. There is no way she would not win with a great claim in the millions of AUD dollars. She can then donate her winnings to show how benevolent she is and a caring FLOM. It will certainly help her hubby to win the next GE 13 which showing signs tipping towards Pakatan Rakyat..

Carl Kapp is not a famous designer, 61 articles of clothing dont even come up to 61k AUSD. His signature dress cost AUSD61K. Please do some fact checking, just like Lim Guan Eng many many fiasco. Or check AG Report and actually reads it. Thats why Malaysians easily kena kelentong by both sides they lazy to fact check and terkinja kinja excited when they hear news about someone they dont like.
For Adil Yunas I hope DAP is having a great yee sang dinner for all the troopers. Enjoy

The ‘divide and conquer’ rule has been very successful for Umno, MCA and MIC. In fact, it was so successful they are still practicing it now.

Such as MCA accusing DAP of allowing PAS to dominate in Pakatan Rakyat while Umno is doing just the opposite, accusing PAS of allowing DAP to dominate in Pakatan.

The reality is modern and educated Malays are more well-informed and they know what is going on. They know there can never be threats from non-Malays as Malays formed the majority. No party can govern the country without the support of Malays.

It is all lies from BN with the intention of keeping themselves in power. Now that the thinking has changed, Umno’s Malays are fearful as this could spell the end of them.

They could change and adapt, but the problem is that their leaders can’t. They are so used to having their way and they do not know how to adapt to others.

As a result of that, Umno dominance in Malaysia will soon be discussed only in history books.

How can MACC question Shahrizat? MACC will tell you that the case only concern her family. She has NO IDEA her husband & children misuse funds provided by this government at dirt cheap interest. She thought that NFCorp is doing very well, she did not even read the AG report on NFCorp even though it is widely publicised. God, she didn’t even know Muyhiddin approved the loan to her husband. She didn’t know her husband bought a number of condos and can vaguely remember staying in those condos a couple of time during holidays. She will claim that the credit cards being used on her personal purchases/expenses is a perk enjoy by Directors. All GLC and government officials in BN government has those perks. Ministers have been spending the peoples’ money without problem before why now?

For goodness sake, even the “first lady” has been lavishing herself with the people’s money, after all the PM department has a hugh budget and someone need to spend them otherwise cannot justify for the next year budget!

  3. Rocket Scientist says:

Right from the very beginning more than four decades ago, DAP leaders in and out of Parliament have fought for the oppressed and suppressed Malays just like other Malaysians whether of Chinese, Indian, Orang Asli, Kadazan and Iban descent, whether as workers, peasants, fishermen, smallholders.
From its formation in 1966, the party has portrayed itself as a “patriotic and multi-racial” Malaysian political movement. They are all entitled to justice, freedom and to be liberated from the tyranny of corruption, cronyism, undemocratic mis-governance and all forms of exploitation resulting in the denial of their human rights and democratic liberties!

  8. Ali Sobri says:

The ongoing exodus of Malaysia’s best and brightest would continue if BN continues to blame minorities like the Chinese for Putrajaya’s failed policies and keeps using the Chinese threat to frighten Malays. The Chinese could not be a threat to Malays as critical economic sectors like banking, insurance, ports, highway tolls and infrastructure, transport, automotives, power, sugar, rice, flour, plantations and oil and gas were dominated by the latter community (think Syed Mokhtar).

The rakyat must grow up believing in our abilities, trusting each other and have faith that Malays and non-Malays can be world champions. Malays and non-Malay kids must grow up respecting each other as Malaysians and hating only corruption. Let us implement policies that will stop corruption, wipe out poverty, attract back Malaysian talents so that Malaysia can be a high-income nation enjoyed by everyone regardless of race, religion or gender.

    • Moderation says:

Malay and non Malay kids are currently unable to meet and talk to each other or play any game for that matter due to the parents fervour for Chinese school, so how to grow up respecting each others as Malaysian as Ali Sobri suggests.

Whose doing is that. Please do tell.

Some more the adults parents, every other days kena cucuk by the self serving politicians and their media

    • Aidil Yunus says:

Sobri, Syed Mokhtar group of companies did not alienate non malays in their organisations, Bank Muamalat Management Co is made of multiple races. Unlike many certain race organisation which only hire same skin colour. Please go ask Public Bank/Hong Leong how they hire candidates for entry level exec. How many of certain races were picked for interview. Hard fact, yes. The educated Malays have seen this happening many times around them.

The exodus is a bunch of bullshit I must say. How many of these people made their name out there. People are using so called race preferential treatment to justify their love for money with bigger value. Number one reason to work in Singapore bigger Sing Dollar. Malaysia have more than bright talents. I am no leftover. I feel sorry if you think you are. Malaysia needs tighter law to protect race based career edavantage then all will be fine. Please dont argue about public sector and how they only hire bumi. Go check how many non bumi applicants they got year in year out. The last I check the highest success rate was application from the Chinese.
Malaysians are gems. But we are always blinded by race when it comes to workplace. True and great talents regardless of race has become victims.

It’s because the state can no longer generate revenue. Teresa Kok did beg for money from the Federal gov for her MP saying that “it’s the government’s responsibility”. But I thought every township has revenue from taxes and stuff? Where’d it all go? What about the MB, does he care?

  13. Sherrie says:

PM Najib must explain the public benefit of the RM7.07 billion 60-year concession to Kumpulan Europlus Bhd(Europlus) for constructing a 316 km highway from Banting to Taiping and whether the RM 2.24 billion soft loans, 3% interest subsidies for commercial loans for 22 years and RM 980 million grant for land acquisition cost is in the public interest. Europlus had announced that it had received an approval letter to construct the 316 km highway from the Public Private Partnership unit of the Prime Minister’s Department.

We are curious why the Federal government had still not make any announcement on such an important highway concession which violates the basic principles of public accountability and transparency. Before the government signs this agreement with Europlus, the Prime Minister must ensure that the following 7 questions why Europlus was given such a good deal are fully answered:

    1) Was there an open tender, and if no why not. If yes, who were the other parties and why were their bids rejected?

    2) Why was Europlus chosen when they have no proven track record in build-operate-transfer(BOT) of highway concession and its principal owners have a troubled history of problematic housing development projects?

    3) How can the government grant such a long concession period of 60 years, which is the longest in Malaysian history, second only to Malaysia’s 100 year agreement to supply water to Singapore in the 1960s?

    4) What was the rationale of granting a soft loan of RM2.24 billion from 2013 at 4% interest and also offer an interest subsidy of 3% from commercial loans for 22 years? Both interest subsidies which may cost the Federal government RM4 billion assuming a principal loan of RM6 billion.

    5) Why should the government pay RM980 million for land acquisition cost if this is a privatised project?

    6) Why is the cost for the 316 km highway at RM7.07 billion or RM22.3 million per km more than double the cost of building a similar highway in India at RM10 million per km?

    7) If this newest toll concession is the alternative to the already congested North South Highway, why stop at Taiping? Why is the Europlus concession not extended to Penang which is even more heavily congested? This is unfair not just to Penangites but also Kedahans.

    • Reny says:

Common sense will tell that BN always do things this manner. This has been going since Dr Mahathir’s time. There is no transparency at all. Only people who have no brain will think that BN is ok and such practice is a norm. It is pure nonsense. Records also have shown BN is practice and abusing its power. Take a look at the MAS scandal, Renong, BMF scandal, Perwaja, PKFZ, NFC and many others. Records speaks and it cannot hide. It is as simple as that. We don’t find that in Pakatan states.

This highway should be called Lebuhraya Air Mata Rakyat. Imagine the rakyat have to feed the cronies for 60 years. As analysed in the Star, but not the opposition, many things are wrong with this highway and the people will bear the ultimate costs. The government should let the public know what kind of economic activities will be created by having such an expansive highway. There are many highways built but under utilised and in the end the public had to subsidise them.

One other thing that is of concern is the developer of the highway. Their track record in building houses is already questionable what more to trust them to built highways.

99% of people in Penang support LGE!

I highly doubt BN will be getting back Selangor, Penang or Perak, despite the internal studies done by BN. BN is going to fare even worse in Penang for the next GE. Just go onto the ground. Look at how Penang has changed. It’s cleaner in all aspects. From governing to the roads. Everything is just better. Despite all the negative press on the government owned print media, nearly everyone has nothing good to say for the previous administration. Najib is going to end up as another Pak Lah if he doesnt wake up soon.

Of all things, I’m a Malaysian. I was borned here, raised here, eat and love the food here, drank the same water source as you, how much am I different from you, while you local Malaysian has done nought but the same as me too? Ini tanah tumpah darahku.

I love Malaysia, but I was accused of the things I didn’t do. I was said to rob the assets of others, and scheming to bring others down. I was said to sail from afar, and now I am not welcome here, and I must return to this strange place which I do not know, and never set foot upon, where you say it is my home.

I am a Malaysian. I do not want to harm others, but continue my life as an individual. I study hard, work hard, so I can live a better life. Does this sound like robbing to you?

This is my home dear fellows, so are yours. We can’t blame others for winning in the competition, and said they were cheating. We can only try to be better next time. We cannot cry and throw tantrums like a child, screaming ” I want the trophy! It’s mine!” while waiting for your mother to come soothe you with a candy.

It’s time to work out that in order to win this, we must improve ourselves, and not bring others down. So we can be better than others, always always, but not eliminate whoever that is better than us every time. And achieve long lasting succes.
