There are perhaps many derogatory words that can invoke anger and hatred, and the one that is most often used is the one that aims to depict the subject as a Bastard (one that is born out of wedlock). Of course, one can argue that Quentin Tarantino had found a way how to glorify the use of it, but in local Malaysian culture, especially to the Muslims, calling one a bastard (or Haram Jadah) can be really degrading.
Why? In a culture where close proximity is an offence for Muslims, a child out of wedlock implying the fault of the mother of lose moral belief is certainly downright rude and uncouth.
Well, even for Chinese for that matter. So when there were stories floating around cyberspace of a grandson of a certain politician was involved in some sexual harassment case, Lim Kit Siang called for those responsible to not resort to ‘gutter’ politics. Politics in Malaysia had seen its fair share of dirt, but when the Perak DAP leadership resorted to calling Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Zambery Abdul Kadir, a Bastard (Haram Jadah) of Black Metallic colour, Nga Kor Ming had gone past the line (again).
So what has the DAP leadership else to do but to sack or suspend him? They suspended an elected rep who chose to belittle the national flag Jalur Gemilang, and accusing it of being too BN.
But hold on, aren’t they ever so good to ‘sandi wara’ each time their own create an issue? And then turn around and blame it on the subject instead?
Time and again, I remind my detractors that the very objective of voting the opposition into office is to ensure that they provide a good counter balance to the government, in short, be a good opposition, yet each time, they prove to me that they are only capable of creating dramas, and this one has to go down as their latest.
I won’t blame you if you felt that you had been slighted by all these politicians. After all, the elections might be round the corner, and it is certainly not too late to identify the idiots and their masters.

these behaviours are sickening…
but on the other hand, it may be just a clever charade to gain negative publicity to keep the brand name in the mind of people(this is a text book tactic is used by many companies to sustain their name in the people mind) .
We see that PAS (Mat Sabu) also used this tactic many times.
You see, they have no good policies or strategy to win over rakyat’s heart. So uselah this cheap little trick. Its either this or some other diversion tactic.
No need to ronda2 all Malaysia and incur cost to do some talk or ceramah…. . The media will do all the running for them… FOC. So clever.
After a while…people forget and mission accomplished.
If you analyse this and compare with the tactic of BN, particularly MCA whom offers and shouts tangible works done for clear and identified benefits for rakyat, instead of some in the air negatives against others just to win people heart, you will be amazed how bad the opposition is.
Shouting democracy when own party’s internal votings were haywire
Shouting transparency when GAG orders were imposed, trigger happily
Shouting nepotism, when father son/daughter/blue eye boys control the party like a partnership firm. And also the ketuas were not elected by their rakyat members
Think how BN has strived for and served the rakyat over the past 50 years(and created many rich Chinese, Malay , Indian and Indons).Stick to what works instead of
reinventing the wheel. Don’t be like ‘tikus membaiki labu”-ie repairing just for the sake of repairing unnecessarily resulting in unwarranted damages.
5 years is a long time for any mistake to be rectified.
5 years is really long time for real looting to be done by the real bad guys(from within or international waters).
If BN has indeed looted the country we all won’t have one of the tallest building, F1 circuit and big airport which we can be proud of. Rakyat in the city will not be driving a VIOS or having maids in the house or paying some RM600pm baby sitters service. Same goes for rakyat in the kampung who are now quite loaded (FELDA planters in particular-income >RM5k pm)
cheers

Umno claims that if Pakatan Rakyat comes to power, the Chinese will rule the country through DAP, and Malays will be reduced to beggars, Islam substituted by Christianity, and the Malay Sultans’ fate in peril.
But in the 2008 election, DAP only fielded 47 candidates, against 97 by PKR, and 66 by PAS for the contest to fill the 222-seat parliament. Besides, PAS is completely Malay and PKR is dominated by Malays.
So how can DAP overpower PKR and PAS – as well Umno for that matter – to become the super power in Malaysian politics?
The fact that Umno has to resort to construct such a ridiculous bogeyman to achieve its political object is manifest of its utter desperation and panic.
look who is controlling PAS, and the opposition states.Who called the shots when Nizar was MB
Umno should realise one important pointer. Look at utusan. Look at the paper’s dwindling circulation despite the fierce and mindless and idiotic and unethical and irresponsible and illegal fanning of racial and religious sentiments. The audience who tunes in to umno’s message is shrinking precisely because of the lies and untruths umno spreads. They are clearly ridiculous and unbelievable; and are oh so so boring. And worse than that. Those lies and untruths are of no use or help at all for they do not lighten the financial burdens of poor malays.
The anti-Chinese message from Umno (at the AGM) is driving more and more Chinese voters away from it. If this situation continues, the DAP can expect to win the 45 Chinese majority seats in the country’s parliament and claim legitimacy to represent the Chinese community in the country.
The Chinese community should dump MCA and Gerakan for the DAP. The MCA and Gerakan would be history and the Barisan Nasional would consist of Umno and the Sabah and Sarawak coalition partners. Barisan Nasional would lose its legitimacy as the party that represents all the races and religions in the country.
yea n we still reeling from the effect of Bodowi Tidolah ….

Imagine a colleague in your office who likes to put down others, point fingers when something goes wrong, nitpick and magnify mistakes, but quick to claim credit for the good things done by others. He has no substantial employment track record to shout about but he commands everyone to follow him because to him, others are so darn rotten. Hot under the collar, he is also prone to demonstrate and throw tantrums at any time.
Now imagine that he is going to control your company. For 5 years.
Vote wisely.
At least in a company we can leave…how about a country….?
Only the loaded can migrate
Transparency Index CPI 2011 indicates that Malaysia is on itss worst-ever 60th ranking and lowest-ever 4.3 score in 17 years. This worst international report card for Malaysia was delivered on the same day that Najib made his “do-or-die” UMNO Presidential Address last Thursday. However, all the UMNO leaders and delegates putting up a great pretence that it never existed. They rather syiok sendiri with the self-created KPI.
In the nine years from 1995 to 2003 under Tun Dr. Mahathir as Prime Minister, Malaysia’s TI CPI score struggled between 4.8 in 2000 to 5.32 in 1996 while the CPI ranking fell 14 places from No. 23 in 1995 to No. 37 in 2003.
In the five-year premiership of Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Malaysia’s TI CPI score managed to keep to the half-way mark between 5.0 to 5.1 while the ranking fell 10 places from 37 in 2003 to 47 in 2008.
Najib should give a full and detailed explanation as to why after 32 months of his premiership, Malaysia has suffered the national ignominy of the worst-ever ranking of No. 60 and and lowest-eve score of 4.3 in TI CPI 2011 for the past 17 years.
Same old Pakatan anthem….
Just recall how the banks in Europe were ranked before they fell.
How praises after praises were heaped to bernard madoff (ponzi scheme) in USA before the whole scheme fell. Ratings are after all just ratings made by other people.
In an out box thought maybe Pakatan should have its own Transparency index…see who finish last. Still no mirror cabinet after so many years after all the talk. Party owned by father, son, daughter, blue eye boy. Rakyat member unable to vote which leader to lead. Ketua umum not voted in. Past failures in internal party vote. etc
As a refresher maybe we all should take a hard look at the way of life here. People are so affluent. One Vious and Camry per household. Two maids maybe-one for kid and one for house. So many lines forming at Rm100++ a meal restaurant at Starhill for supper. Houses were snapped by lines which queued two weeks before launch. Maybe some people also tak heran with the recent RM100 money given to school kids.. so much trouble to go to school and queue for which time wasted they may get paid more an hour for. Shopping complex full of loaded crowds.
How does this compare to the Pakatan anthem?
We may have a recession storm coming our way and we ought to be the least least concerned with some syok sendiri and hidden purpose rankings by outsiders – so kena solidify ourselves and brace.
Recall BN has the track record and successfully weathered us through many such recession in the past(of which impact and pain the younger ones may not know and appreciate-so please look up) and this storm as some say is worse. BN has protected us from the vultures of the west (IMF etc) for which Pakatan seems to have the tendency to rub shoulder with.
Better the devil you know
5 years is a long time to gamble, all for the name of rhetorics and emotion spinster when the track record is so evident.
Which race is the most economically successful here?(and why say no equality and no transparency benefit?)
A lot of things may not be reversible after damages done.

Lembu 1Shahrizat on Youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKy4JeM8LPY
I don’t see the reason why Shahrizat needs to resign for her NFC corruption debacle. UMNO is a party of crooks, cronies and corrupt politicians. What Shahrizat did in the NFC project to enrich herself and her family with public funds is nothing new and in some way consider normal practice among UMNO politicians. In short; why does Shahrizat need to stick her head in UMNO’s guillotine when her UMNO colleagues who are judging her and yanking the guillotine chain are doing the same.
Why didn’t a single Umno delegate at AGM ask Shahrizat how she can wear the tudung and look pious comforting women, but evade an explanation on how her family can get such a large grant out of the rakyat’s pocket so that they can spend on condos, land, limousine and trips?
All Malays must realise who umnoputras really give benefits for …! It is only less than 0.5% Malays so do not be fooled any longer. Only the rich and well family tied connections of Umnoputras can really benefit. You just have to vote at GE13 for ABU (Anything But Umno). This country will suffer for generations to come and the Malay population will suffer more as the population is the single biggest percentage in Malaysia ie. most numbers of Malaysians. This decision is vital for survival of this country which otherwise is so blessed with commodities and crude oil but will deminish in time to come.
Where are our riches? Plundered indirectly through corruptions and filtrations through closed and selated tenders on all big projects. The bigger the project the more money kickback would result. Why is Malaysia lagging behind economically when compared to many neighbouring countries who were not better than us. Think not just on current issues but also the livelihoods of your children.
1. We must admit that corruptions are rampant in Malaysia
2. We must admit the BN government condoned corruptions for many-many, the worst during the last 22 years under a single PM.
3 We must admit that BN condoned abuse of power in the name of helping the poor Malay thus contribute to rampant corrupt practices
4 We must admit that corruption agency MACC does not exist. This agency is merely a tool of BN to condone corruption
5 We must admit that corruption is not just a mere bribes but most of the big cases are systematic designed scheme to milk the tax payers’s money. We have BMF. we have PKFZ, we now have Cowgate and many many more that have caused millions and billions of tax payers’ money.
What UMNO leaders want is RM, and lots of it, and they take it in any form they can, from rent seeking to corruption to the abuse of power. That’s all it is interested in. The “dilemma” and racial politics are what UMNO leaders use to exploit the nation and to steal from the rakyat and to deprive all Malaysian children of a brighter future. It is UMNO leaders who are responsible for turning Malaysia from a country that was on par with Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan into a nation that is now trying to keep ahead of Indonesia and Thailand. It is UMNO leaders who are turning Malaysia from a middle-income country into a low-income country. There is no dilemma, there is no racial politics except of UMNO’s doing!
Funny….people here are practically begging the foreign workers to work here.
Foreign workers have been flocking here for many many years, and we may have a fourth race of Indon origin later on.
As though the govt really steal from the rakyat blind.
It has one of the tallest tower, big airport, affluent people who can afford a RM100+ one time meal. Does the govt squeeze tax from rakyat? When was the last time fare been increased for KTM commuter and LRT-none practically. Fuel price still no increased for so long. Felda settlers are now quite loaded leh. Tax rates for companies been reduced.
We must be careful of the standard pakatan anthem (in their bid for power, guerilla style)
Have to mirror and see through it.
I urge every right-thinking Malaysian in this country to read and disseminate the Time Magazine’s cover story entitled “Erdogan’s Moment”:
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,2099674,00.html.
After Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan’s AKP party replaced their incumbent party in 2002 – which was as corrupted and evil as Umno – AKP was able to grow Turkey’s GDP by 300% and reduce its deficit by 67% in eight short miraculous years!. This is even more remarkable if we consider the fact that AKP advocates a conservative form of Islam (like PAS) but with full secularism, pro-business, pro-West policies never before seen in Turkey or in that part of the world. The Arab spring may grab all our attention but Turkey’s rise after they successfully got rid of their evil regime is a path worth following for our beloved country Malaysia.
RTM is not happy with the word ‘reformasi’ in the rock song ‘Panik’ by local band Bunkface , thus banned the song from airwaves?
RTM is so obsessed with niceness even such words as celakamu can be made a reason for a ban. I guess they want everyone who appear on tv to be niceties, like those phony cops they portray on roda-roda kuala lumpur show. I didn’t watch umno agm the other day but I was told sometime during that meeting someone did mentioned the word ‘bangsat,’ right? Najib himself was also talking like trash during his closing speech, someone even equated his style to that of a mat rempit. How come RTM didn’t bleep that or ban the speaker or PM from TV?
Is RTM state-owned or BN-owned? Are they having problem with distinguishing between the rightful owner of RTM and the ‘de facto’ owner ot these ratio stations (RTM-rancangan tak memuaskan). The way the minister in charge is conducting himself on RTM shows more it is BN-owned. Is the minister (ex-Semangat 46 vintage) a ‘winnable’ candidate?
http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/nurul-izzah-balai-polis-kerinchi-a-voter-in-lembah-pantai/
umno is so desperate that it is registering non-existent voters under such names as Encik Balai Polis bin Kerinchi. How many more votes can umno get from his wife Puan Polis Balai binti Kerinchi, his sons Encik Polis bin Balai and Encik Po Lis bin Ba Lai and so on?
This is one form of UMNO/BN cheating method apart from bribery and buying votes with money…
Another form is using IC’s & other profiles of those registered Malaysian voters, who are currently residing in overseas, and they never cast their votes in any General Election…
u don even know en. balai polis bin kerinci vote for who…
in EC.. there’s everyone people..
Recall that there are so many voters living in one house…for Permatang Pauh constituency
There is this joke. The person whom quietly farts with a smelly stink in the roomful of people will most of the time be the one who will loudly challenge and scold the mysterious farter
PM Najib memperlihatkan hipokrasi “teramat tinggi” sedangkan pentadbirannya semalam mengumumkan mengenai pemansuhan 29,000 jawatan, di bawah pelaksanaan sistem Saraan Baru Perkhidmatan Awam (SBPA) mulai Januari 2012, hanya beberapa hari selepas perdana menteri menyerang Pakatan Rakyat kononnya mahu membuang separuh kakitangan awam.
The opposition not only supports cutting the worlds most bloated, unproductive, expensive and useless civil service they want to go further than cutting a mere 29,000 jobs. It is Mein Fuhrer Najib who attacked the opposition using the most vile racist slurs last week who said the oppositions proposal to cut the civil service was an attack in Malays and we’re merely high lighting what a flip flop useless civil servant he is and in his case the cuts haven’t gone far enough.
Do you not wonder how a man who has been a civil servant his entire adult life is so wealthy? It’s corruption and that’s why the opposition attacks.
At the moment, Malaysia’s civil service is far too large compared to other countries. Some say it should be about half of 1.4 million, that is 50% reduction.
If BN removes 29,000 out of 1,400,000 because their jobs are redundant, then BN will only reduce headcount by only 2%. The civil service is still too big. The PM should sack more civil servants.
Soft loan untuk bayar gaji lumayan?
Pengerusi Eksekutif NFC, Datuk Mohamad Salleh Ismail, yang juga suami Shahrizat memperoleh gaji bulanan sekitar RM100,000 sebulan.
Manakala ketiga tiga anaknya iaitu Wan Shainur Izmir, 31, (Pengarah Eksekutif) Wan Shahinur Izran, 27 (Ketua pegawai eksekutif) dan Wan Izzana Fatimah, 25, (pengarah) memperoleh pendapatan RM35,000 hingga RM45,000 sebulan.
Can anybody substantiate this….
Whether true or another Pakatan’s anthem..
This the typical problem with UMNO senior Elites, when entrusted with millions of Rakyats money, they would never fail to channel part of it to purchase luxurious goods for themselves and their family members. What do they know about Business…nothing, spending..very good at it. Shameless at it and unbashful..cannot even earn a decent living, must always go for Freebies.
Najib’s ultra-racist posture in Perkida is blacked out in the Chinese press, for reasons we all know.
In that way, he thinks he can have the cake and eat it. It’s up to us to make full use of the alternative media to expose his Jekyll and Hyde role.
In fact, almost every BN leader is playing such a duplicitous role to various degrees. For Najib to make such a bold gamble – openly soliciting electoral support (“I help you, you help me”) from such a shady, extremist body – he must be dead worried of BN’s electoral fortune.
Never ceases to amaze me how the UMNO-Putra’s speak of the Islamic bogey man in PAS, when it is under UMNO’s polices that religious oppression and elements of radical Islam have become a reality of daily life in Malaysia. In a secular nation where is the need for a sole minister of Islamic affairs? Is it not UMNO that has taken the first step here towards an Islamic state? Would Malaysia not be best served with a ministry of cultural and religious affairs that is charged with the mandate of promoting inter racial and inter faith understanding and acceptance as opposed to insincere tolerance)…
Try dial RM500 1Malaysia cash aid hotline 1800222500 from 9am to 5pm. Auto-answering machine will tell you: All lines are busy. Scam-line?
Mamakthir does not realize that he can say what he likes, nothing happens, or it means nothing. Najib knew very well that Mamakthir means nothing, but he must have been taught that it is not worthwhile to fight with ‘smallman’ and so a chair is provided to him, at all occasions. It is better to watch him on close range than to let him run wild. So the political has been can enjoy the cheap thrills of opening everything nobody bothers to go, and he derives the false sense of importance. Shahrizat is only concerned if Najib calls her to resign if he intends to protect the image of UMNO. But has there anything left in UMNO to be salvaged? So Shahrizat earns nothing responding to comments by a has been. She would jump with joy had Mamakthir echoed what AAB commented. That father and son in-laws found it necessary to voice support for Shahrizat gave Mamakthir the chance to kill three birds with one stone. The stupid trios.
Bravo to Pakatan. When under attack, be calm and composed. Truth and integrity need no defence. The rakyat is not blind. All can see the duplicity of BN and UMNO in full glare of the daylight. It does not mean that we, the rakyat, love Pakatan more but that we love Malaysia more and we are loath to see this country that we call home go to the dogs right in front of our eyes. Focus on the issues and do not let our eyes be clouded by emotions and bias. There is still hope. But the patience of the rakyat is fast thinning out.
It is hardly a surprise that the police are now demanding carolers to have police approved permits for caroling because the police have probably been given instructions to thwart Christians from practicing their faith. Is it any coincidence that Christianity is the new enemy to this UMNO governed country? Do not be surprised if the carolers are subjected to further harassment by ultra holier than thou muslim NGOs (aka UMNO-JAIS-MAIS-JAKIM sponsored thugs) when they go about their caroling to Christian homes in Klang. I fear that there could be some sinister hands ready to create tension and unrest to discredit the Selangor state government.
