It’s amazing how the Pakatan Rakyat zombies cleverly whipped up the frenzy over the suspension of UIA law professor Dr Aziz Bari. The Pakatan Rakyat bloggers and leaders are suddenly talking about academic freedom.
Where were these jokers when Universiti Selangor – which is now run by the PR state- sacked Prof Dr Khalifah Othman (Business Faculty Dean) and Rokmah Mat (Registar) and Halid Hasbullah (Marketing director)?
As a result of the sackings, Unisel president and vice-chancellor Datuk Dr Rosti Saruwono – decided to follow suit and quit, in defence of these unfair sackings. It was a classic case of showing brute force and power.
In the case of the three Unisel academicians, there were no show cause letters or even warnings.
Dr Rosti’s shocking decision was made known during a staff meeting which was hurriedly called forcing lecturers to cancel their classes.
And in the case of Dr Aziz, it is well known thar he has been actively involved in PR activities, giving ceramahs and talks at PAS-PKR functions.
Are taxpayers paying him to teach or to let him use his time to groom himself as a candidate for the next polls?
So, don’t give us this bullshit of academic freedom. Dr Aziz has actually crossed the line – his suspension and sacking, we hope, is overdue.
Instead of attending classes and giving lecturers – he is always away at Pakatan Rakyat meetings. If he is your staff, anyone would have given him the sack.
But the last straw is his criticism of the Sultan of Selangor on the DUMC issue.

Still fresh in my mind, Dr Rosti Saruwono. Academic freedom my ass, last time UiTM students were called ‘otak belacan’ and Khoo Kay Kim called a ‘profesor Kangkung’.
hahaha PR, never change
This is politics lah. When govt act against students/lecturers who are anti-BN, the Pakatan fellas make noise. When Pakatan act against pro-BN students/lecturers, BN make noise. Both also same lah. Only many stupid rakyat, esp from DAP and PKR, think along black and white lines. Don’t be stupid lah, all the same one.
These lecturers at UIA, Unisel, UKM, UM….all useless, cannot be world class professors but all damn good at politics. They are good at jacking and bodeking the govt for promos or good at walloping the govt, so they can contest as PAS/PKR calun. Dr Aziz for Gombak lah.
Good luck to the students! LOL!
Too much politicking by both sides of d political divide. Students r d victims
Sack Dr Aziz, you all blind ah? Mata sepek ah? That bugger is not a professor anymore, but a full time politician! Use your head, especially UIA students. Pakai otak lah sikit.
Biadap you Dr Aziz. Why should you run down the royalty. The Selangor Sultan is one who is fair, just and whatever decision he makes is always for the good of the peace and harmony.

Bishop Paul Tan & Prof Aziz…no difference in soul & mind & so unprofessional…!
No wonder Malaysia’s unis fare so badly in international rankings. It can never be on par with unis in the region if the teaching staff are allowed to be in full time politics. Instead of guiding young minds and imparting knowledge, they are involved in political brain-washing of students and what do we get??? The likes of Anwar Ibrahim, Yusmadi Yusof, Chang Lih Kang etc… all student activists who think that the world owes them something.
However, behind the scenes they sniff the butts of American capitalists to get $$$. Yes, education system needs reform. And uni teaching staff need to be whipped. Do your job.
BBC World Service last nite (25 Oct) on its Business Daily program reported why a hi-tech brain drain could scupper Malaysia’s plans to become the Silicon Valley of the East.

Many graduates from the multimedia university are aiming to work overseas because of the discriminatory policy in Malaysia, leading to brain drain.
Wei Cikgu Aziz! U can interperate the Sultan decision anyway u want but we all know u guys just wanna extricate PAS and PKR out of a hole they dug themselves. JAIS is full with PAS fellas.
That Paul Fella also same one. Why never scold PAS, PKR or DAP over this DUMC?
