Pakatan cybertroopers are viralling this nearly 1-year old Forbes article. They deliberately screenshot the headline and one mention of 1mdb. And deliberately hid the full article, which doesn’t list Malaysia anywhere in that top 5 list- nevermind in the list of “Asia’s most corrupt country’s”.
Pakatan is yet again using misleading headlines to deceive the people.
If you read the full article, you will notice that the article gives the following top 5 “most corrupted” countries in Asia.
1. India: 69% bribery rate
2. Vietnam: 65% bribery rate
3. Thailand: 41% bribery rate
4. Pakistan: 40% bribery rate
5. Myanmar: 40% bribery rate
Malaysia is nowhere in the top 5. We are somewhere at the lower bottom with 23% while countries such as Cambodia 40%, Indonesia is at 32%, China 26%, Australia 4% and Taiwan at 6%.
The list is based on a question in one of Transparency International’s survey whether a person has given a bribe within the last year. (yes, you paying the police a bribe is included).
This is yet another example of the opposition’s deceit of the people. They have run out of arguments against the Government’s policies which benefit the rakyat.
So instead they have to resort to deceiving the people and creating FAKE NEWS.
FYI: Malaysia is ranked 55th out of 176th least corrupt country world-wide for the year 2016 by Transparency International’s corruption index.
