For now, we are really sick of umno bn and pas that for sure harapan is our choice, no matter the squabbles and misunderstanding among them. It shows that there is no dictatorship in harapan and members are free to air their views. If they win the election, it is good for the country and if they lose, there will be no feeling of guilt and shame for our conscience is clear – not part of an inhuman, corrupted and kleptocrat govt.

BN got plenty squabbles, too. Najib warned about component parties squabbling about seats just the other day.

Worse, the non-Malay parties shaky knees about Hudud because Najib romancing Hadi.

A vote for Harapan is a vote for hope. Never mind if they haven’t got the manifesto fixed, but move away from the one that will perpetuate the country’s indebtedness and enhance the wealth of corrupt and morally unacceptable BN.

Amanah president Mohamad Sabu has condemned religious leaders who supported BN and allegedly legitimised corruption even though Muslims cannot compromise when it comes to graft.

Instead, he said it was DAP, which is often branded as anti-Islam, that has taken up the cause to fight corruption.

“I don’t understand why religious leaders defend Umno and BN… Muslims cannot compromise on corruption and misappropriation.

“Why is it that DAP becomes the champion in opposing corruption? It should be Muslims because we are taught that those who give and receive bribes will go to hell,” he said in his speech at the Selangor Amanah convention in Ampang today.

He did not name the religious leaders but claimed the individuals had searched for Quranic verses and altered the meaning of “bribes” to “rewards”.

      • An American says:

        Dear Prime Minister Najib Razak,

As an American who loves the Malaysian People, I say that you are not welcome here in our country.

You have failed Malaysia, and degraded its young democracy into a civilian dictatorship.

The Wall Street Journal warned us this week, “Mr. Najib will visit the White House next week for a presidential photo-op that could help him win the next general election and imperil Malaysia’s democracy.”

And that’s one thing that Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and others usually agree on: we don’t like to see the American president being used.

This week, the chorus of voices against your planned White House visit is growing louder and louder from both Americans and Malaysians — ranging from the former US Ambassador to Malaysia, to esteemed journalists who know Malaysia well, to entire newspaper editorial teams, all the way to brave Malaysians who are tirelessly fighting your corruption and authoritarianism.

These are only three of the myriad reasons why I and many Americans don’t like you:

        1. You’ve only been in the US one day, and you’ve already started lying to both Americans and Malaysians.

You wrote yesterday to the American people: “We have fought Daesh (ISIS) through the promotion of moderation.”

Actually, many Americans already know that you are actually one of the world’s notorious enemies of moderation: You’ve banned books about moderation in Malaysia, you embrace violent extremists, and you failed to successfully fight ISIS: Malaysia has one of the highest rates of ISIS followers in Asia, arguably because of the culture of extremism that you’ve encouraged; 11% of Malaysians (approximately three million) support ISIS and suicide bombings. You in the White House after September 11, this sacred day for Americans, is inappropriate.

We also know that your government’s latest approval rating is only around 23% nationwide, 31% among Malay voters, 5% among Chinese-Malaysian voters, and so on.

We also know you probably personally ordered that poor Mongolian girl to be murdered.

        2. We know that you are no friend or partner to America.

During your party’s 60 years of rule, many Americans are aware that you have been openly criticizing the United States, meanwhile increasingly cozying up to China. For example, last November you wrote in The China Daily that Western countries like the United States should not “lecture” governments like Malaysia’s on their internal affairs, not long after our Department of Justice froze over US$1.6 billion of Malaysian taxpayers’ money that you and your associates stole from your own people— the largest money-laundering case in US history.

We know that you gushed to Beijing’s state-controlled media that China has been creating “regional stability and harmony,” which is laughable news to the smaller countries that China’s military has been bullying in the South China Sea. In your July South China Morning Post editorial,” you also repeatedly flattered China as Malaysia’s “friend” no less than four times.

We can see that you’re hoping for a wad of that Chinese money, with no accountability or strings attached.

        3. We know that you illegally exploited our banks and abused the United States’ financial system. We don’t appreciate that you and your materialistic wife stole between US$4 and US$8 billion from your own people. You probably think that this is not a big deal, but this is not normal behavior.

We know that you have a history of protecting corrupt criminal friends of yours, including your friend Jho Taek Low, who is still hiding from the FBI and criminal investigators in the Shanghai Peninsula Hotel under the protection of the Government of China, as well as your cronies Mohamad Salleh Ismail and his corrupt children, whose “Cowgate” scandal was so unethical, that it became a global business ethics textbook case study.

In the same way that you used the American financial system for your own gain, you now intend to use the American president? Not on our watch.

At a time when the world’s young democracies and human rights are under increasing attack by ineffective, authoritarian governments like yours, rest assured that I and many other Americans will continue to stand with the Malaysian people.

It’s therefore okay for you and your government to be turned away. You are not welcome here.

        Selamat tinggal,

        An American

“you’re hoping for a wad of that Chinese money ..”

Sure he n Fat Mama do. May have got plenty from the Chinese already. Example: The East Coast Railway was said to have been signed at several billion Ringgit more than the cost estimated by the Economic Planning Unit or whatever authority doing it. And the Chinese have corruption as a way of life for thousands of years. Despite the punishment for serious cases being death.

The Ah Jib Gors’ greed has no bounds. RM2.6 billion was only for the coming general elections. There must be tons cash of readied for their personal enjoyment when voted out.

PS: Whatever happened to Rosmah’s daughter said to be living in the US who once wrote bitterly against the mother’ s attitude and ways?

        • A Malaysian says:

Hope our American friend would go to any powerful lobby group in the US to lobby DoJ to reveal the identity of “MO1” that they mentioned 16 times in their 251-page report submitted to the court connected with the latest asset seizure case.

To do so irrespective of whether they find sufficient evidence of his criminal wrong doings. And do so just before the general elections.

That’d be a sure way to get the despicable Kleptocrat voted out.

Better still, when there are sufficient evidence of his criminal acts, prosecute him in a US court. Surely there are means to do so on a sitting PM – make him stand up in court and answer Kleptocratic charges.

Washington Post had no nice things to say except Najib given VIP treatment from Trump’s Hotel to White House.

But the two are of matching doubtful integrity – Trump refused to divest of his interest in the hotel, which is now managed by his sons. Lawsuits from government watchdog groups and inquiries from Democratic leaders and governments agencies, including the Government Accountability Office, are targeting the hotel, which operates in a building leased to his company by the federal government, which Trump oversees.

The influential newspaper mentioned DoJ’s “largest kleptocracy investigation ever — into whether the prime minister diverted more than $1 billion from a Malaysian-government investment fund to his own bank accounts.”

        • Anonymous says:

Another influential newspaper, The New York Times, pointed out the unusual no-news-conference ending, they moved a picture-taking session from the Oval Office, denying Najib the customary photo with the president before the fireplace, under George Washington’s portrait.

The new, White House Chief of Staff, General Kelly, a no-nonsense ex Army General, must have observed the sensitivity – no nonsense under George Washington

NYT said, “the awkwardness of a meeting already replete with ethical questions. Mr. Najib is under investigation by the Justice Department ..

In these respects, he is not unlike Mr. Trump. So it was perhaps not a surprise that the two leaders skipped a news conference, kept their public remarks brief.

Najib put the name of the Malays down – NYT wrote about “a country that is a valuable trading partner … but is ruled by a corrupt, entrenched Malay elite.”

It noted “an estimated $3.5 billion that investigators believe he and his associates diverted from a Malaysian government fund that he headed. Among other things, the money was used to buy jewelry, real estate and the rights to Hollywood films.”

Imagine, all those were read by many millions of Americans and others world-wide on the internet. Najib’s trip was more damaging than if he had just stayed at home. Malaysian voters must remember this.

Rakyat Malaysia will have to pay a heavy price for Najib’s extravagant chequebook diplomacy. We are already heavily indebted to China; now we will be driven into even greater debt with billions of new borrowing to pay for Najib’s Washington promises.

That the government of a cash-strapped developing country, which has had to impose a new tax (GST) on its own hard-pressed and long-suffering populace just to stay afloat, would offer such an extravagant economic boost to one of the richest economies in the world is both unprecedented and mind-boggling.

Low mentality, childish behaviour, taking billions of EPF money to further invest in US.

            “Low mentality, childish behaviour”

            How so?

“he’s the Minister of Finance” alright, you think a longkang moron like you should replace him?!

        • Anonymous says:

          Ang please answer these questions:

          1. Who conceived the idea of the two propaganda offensives – the Trump-Najib show, and the “go for the jugular” offensive to blame the opposition for using the 1MDB scandal to undermine investor confidence in the Malaysian economy? Did it come from the highly-paid media consultants and propagandists? If so, let us have the names.

          2. How much was spent to secure Trump’s invitation to Najib for the meeting at the White House, and was it was paid from government coffers or from private funds?

          3. Did Najib and his entourage stay for three days at Trump International Hotel and what was cost of the stay for the Najib entourage – was it in hundreds of thousands of US dollars?

          4. Was Najib aware that his entourage’s stay at the Trump International Hotel created an ethical problem, of whether Trump was violating the Emoluments Clause of the US constitution which forbids presidents from receiving gifts or payments for services rendered from foreign governments while in office? If so, how is it they still stayed at Trump International Hotel?

          5. Why is the 5 minute 58 second transcript of the Trump-Najib exchange in the White House cabinet room so humiliating for Malaysians, as the tone and tenor of the exchange did not sound like one between two equals representing two sovereign nations, but like those between a monarch and a chieftain of a vassal state bearing gifts, like bunga mas to the sovereign?

          6. Is Najib aware of the ludicrous and comical implications, and the total lack of a sense of scale, when as Malaysian prime minister, he declared Malaysia sought to “strengthen the US economy” to make America great again, when the comparative 2016 GDP is US$18.569 trillion for USA and US$296 billion for Malaysia only (or USA having a GDP that is 63 times bigger than Malaysia)? How could an economically weaker country “strengthen” the economy of a country with an economy 63 times bigger than that of Malaysia, when it should be the other way round? Out of the 50 states in USA, 22 states have GDPs larger than Malaysia, headed by three states which are trillion-dollar economies, namely California which has GDP of US$2.6 trillion; Texas US$1.6 trillion; New York US$1.5 trillion. The next three states in USA topping the GDP list are Florida with US$927 billion; Illinois US$792 billion and Pennsylvania US$725 billion.

          7. Najib claimed that Trump’s invitation to the White House was a form of acknowledgment of Malaysia’s status as a “rising star.” Is he aware that of the 32 foreign leaders from sovereign countries that Trump had invited to the White House so far, 15 rule over nations that either score in the bottom half of the Global Democracy Ranking, which uses metrics to measure the health of 112 democracies in the world, or hail from countries like Saudi Arabia that have no pretence of democratic rule?

          8. Najib’s White House meeting with Trump has not put the 1MBD scandal behind the Malaysian prime minister, as the opposite has happened, highlighting the iniquity and monstrosity of the scandal, which has turned Malaysia overnight into a global kleptocracy. Will Najib finally recognise that the 1MDB scandal will not go away, and that it can only disappear if there is full accountability?

9 . During Najib’s meeting with Trump, he had pledged “value propositions” to strengthen the US economy and announced that the Employees’ Provident Fund will invest between US$3 billion and US$4 billion in US infrastructure projects. He also announced Malaysia Airlines’ planned purchase of between 33 and 58 aircraft from Boeing, a deal which would be worth more than US$10 billion within five years, and that Khazanah Nasional Berhad will also increase investments in US high-tech companies. Will Najib summon an emergency meeting of Parliament to debate his exchange with Trump and seek endorsement of his “value propositions” to Trump? Is Najib aware that his “value propositions” constitute a drop in the ocean for the USA economy, as the cost of Trump’s infrastructure upgrade is US$5 trillion over the next decade, and that the market capitalisation of the New York stock exchange totalled US$27 trillion?

Bloody good points in the above comment. Well done, Anon 12:05 pm.

The stupid, otherwise schizophrenic, Ang Tiunama Peng cannot get to write anything like that – well argued, lucid, cogent, coherent, articulate. The bloke Ang would be rude, abusive and vulgar even in his first paragraph. And I have been influenced to his style – in retaliation.

Ang’s comments are full of loose opinions, wild, unsubstantiated and unjustified allegations, endlessly repetitive name-calling, boring words and phrases. No such things as well-argued statements. That’s what a poorly educated, no-upbringing fellow is all about.

He’d whack Tun Mahathir but at the same time said Najib is not worth even RM1.00. No stand, no principles, no morals, no scruples. He’s mad, too. So, whatever he says should be taken as amusement, to be made fun of and get entertained from.

          • Ang Tao Peng says:

            “Ang please answer these questions:”

It’s all a bitching of no value.

And I don’t “please answer” anybody’s “questions” to order unless I know who is asking – is it some monkey who thinks I should answer it because it thinks he is self-important and can demand answers from me?

Is it questions I should give half a damn to?

Are they good questions or simply some monkey tossing in the wind thinking he should frame his bit of shagging like he thinks his question are of amazing relevance?

Is it a longkang politician having a wnak?

Should I tag along and join in the masturbation over questions I am not interested in?

Are answers of any use to purely speculative shagging, would it help any cause?

Using some of these views I wrote, you can jolly well imagine I have not spotted anything of worth that replying to would further anything than the usual cheap longkang kind shagging about would advance and develop longkang Malaysia.

So, sorry, I wouldn’t see myself wasting energy and time participating in what I see is the usual shagging done by longkang entities.

Thanks for asking, all the same.

You best direct your questions to Najib’s gomen, do that yourself or via your favourite “opposition” wonders. The gomen and the “opposition” should have both the duty to serve you.

As far as it goes for me, 1MDB was used as a battering ram against Najib, going desperate over his trip was all that the “opposition” could feel, Najib made a successful trip. he completely neutered the one single issue attack on him.

Nobody gave the shit about 1MDB, many Malaysians think the world outside their coconut shell world thinks like them. And are so useless and helpless dreaming their world is the whole world!

And nobody could make anything out of 1<DB after all the years of shagging over it.

So, as it goes, Najib's US visit was a success.

And he scored a huge victory.

It is inconsequential now how he did it, whether it be legit or whatever that he did, he won, deal with that!

Bitching about what Najib did or didn't do would not change anything, the "opposition" spent years shagging over 1MDB, it had plenty of "evidence" and plenty of time to score over Najib.

Up to its blind eyeballs and maybe all the way up its dumb head with morality and righteousness, the "opposition" still didn't score.

It simply shows the "opposition" is useless even when it had "all the right" on its side, it cannot score over Najib.

No much point running any more talk show questioning this, that, that has been done all the time and forever.

We have had 1MDB forever, now find something else to shag over, at least something else with as much "evidence" that will work!

PAS has gone on a warpath against a craft beer event touted as the country’s largest, calling it a pesta maksiat (vice party).
“We’re not willing to allow Kuala Lumpur to be known worldwide as the largest vice centre in Asia,” said PAS central committee member Dr Riduan Mohd Nor.
“What is the assurance of safety to be given to the public that there won’t be any crime, free sex, rape and so on?
“It is regretted that Malaysia is chosen for this beer festival although the organiser said it is for non-Muslims besides promoting tourism.
“Although Muslims are not the targeted crowd, there are no limits or obstructions for them to join,” he said in a statement via Harakah Daily yesterday.
The Better Beer Festival will be held here on Oct 6 and 7.
The organiser, craft beer distributors MyBeer, is expecting about 6,000 people for the event.
Dr Riduan claimed society’s hatred towards vice activities has to be taken seriously, instead of paying attention to a small group who wants to fulfil their desires.
He also warned that such events, if allowed to continue, might invite extremist actions by those “hurt” by what is happening.
In response, MCA religious harmony bureau chairman Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker criticised PAS for not respecting the liberties of non-Muslims as provided for in the nation’s laws.
“PAS should not oversimplify social problems by selectively picking on certain events and saying these will lead to immoral acts, crime and violence.
“The number of illegitimate children, for instance, is higher in Kelantan than in other states, so this goes to show that morality and crime rates are not solely attributable to one event or two,” he said when contacted.
Ti added that it was “highly irresponsible” of leaders to use sensitivity or anger as a threat or to justify their own reactions to something.
“What they are doing is a form of intimidation. The spirit of Malaysia is founded on tolerance and as leaders we should advocate and practise this, instead of making extremist views,” he said.

Like bullshitting, madly claiming all sorts all over the place, exhibiting his schizophrenia symptom – delusions of grandeur, believing what he is not.

          His CV –

Constantly Lying, Cheating and Conning Schizophrenic Red Bean old man “Ang” –

          1. At first, he cheated on his blogging name, using what appeared to be the full name of a Chinese, presumably in order to gain respect for him as a blogger. When threatened to have his name checked against the list of graduates of “top UK universities” that he claimed to have degrees from, he panicked, and declared that Ang Tao Peng is not his real name.

          2. He claimed to be graduates of not just “two top UK universities”, but also of “two top US universities”. He is mad. Nobody can ever be like that. But when told that, he simply kept quiet. He doesn’t provide proof, substantiation or justification. Saying he’s not obliged to do so. So, we are “obliged” to deem him as Lying, Cheating and Conning Schizophrenic Red Bean old man Ang.

          3. He claimed to be descended from “a clan of bankers and industrialists of East China”, denied being descended from “coolies” of South China brought in by British colonialists in the 19th century onwards. Yet, saying “his folks” having migrated to Europe bringing “a lot of wealth”, he is left plonked in a non-industrialist Malaysia and living in Sarawak (he claimed, though likely to be in Penang, a Red Bean, using so many names and pretending to be so many personalities. He knows the term “multiple personalty disorder” and the symptoms well).

          4. In the beginning of his foray in this blog, he portrayed the image of, and did say he was a retiree, an old man, expressing the style of the usual Red Beans gang (those engaged by DAP to terrorize blogosphere during PRU13 election campaign, writing in uncontrolled fashion, often rude, abusive and vulgar, wild, unsubstantiated and unjustified claims and allegations). But when accused of being among the hooligans that caused the race riots of 1969, he denied being around, physically and age-wise, at that time. Lying again.

Profile of Damn Racist Bastard “Ang Tiunama Peng” –

His blood being mixed with that of Mongol and Manchurian marauders who invaded, conquered and ruled China in the 13th, 17th-20th centuries, he’s always quarrelsome and confrontational, resentful and angry with situations that he could not accept. Like what he perceived as being a Second Class citizen in this country. Not respecting and living by the Constitution, the august document that has been discussed, debated and approved by Parliament. Been told to migrate but no money.

Descended from endlessly fighting bands of people through thousands of years of history, he doesn’t have any trust and liking even for fellow Chinese. Hence he often berates the Hakkas and Hokkiens, prompting Mubarak Chan to observe that the bastard is not even a Chinaman. Claiming to come from a family of bankers and industrialists that doesn’t exist, bluffing, lying and cheating all the time.

His kind being deceived and bullied by the Western powers to the point that they acquired a Western Enclave in Shanghai that didn’t allow the presence of “Chinese and dogs”, Hong Kong was colonized by the British and returned to China only in 1990, he developed a strong sense of enmity against others – foreigners and Chinese alike, even his own family, who he said absconded from here with their wealth to Euorpe, abandoning him all alone here, eating fried kueteow even on Chinese New Year’s eve, like the last one that his forked tongue slipped and told us here.

With all those kinds of background and experience, can one expect him to be decent, ruly, reasonable and constitution-respecting? No. He cannot ever be. So, just whack him to smithereens.

That’s his schizophrenic delusion of grandeur –

          Delusions of grandeur

The mad Red Bean old man “Ang Tiunama Peng” always thinks he is high qualification, knowledge, wealth, etc. He has delusions of grandeur –

In the past he frequently claimed about “my vast superiority”, claimed to have vast wealth, including “a huge colonial style Baba mansion” in Singapore, properties in Jkarta, now claiming to also have properties in UK. He had claimed to have degrees from “four top US and UK universities”. All are bullshits.

Googling the words “delusion of grandeur” produces the following:

          – Delusions of grandeur are false beliefs held by an individual

          – Delusions of grandeur are associated with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), which is a mental health diagnosis

          – Grandiosity is a symptom of the manic episodes of Bipolar Disorder: elevated (heightened), expansive (grand, superior) or irritable mood. This elevated mood occurs when not depressed. In mania … increased activity or energy … needs only three hours sleep (at times he blogs at 3 am) instead of the usual seven

Other examples of delusion of grandeur exhibited by Red Bean old man Ang are his claims of:

          1. having, in addition to degrees from “four top US and UK universities, a host of professional qualifications and honorary awards

          2. being descended from the non-existent “clan of bankers and industrialists” of East China (but not Shanghai, China’s commercial centre)

          3. being vastly wealthy, having so “many possessions” that it’s difficult for him to scram from this country despite being repeatedly told to do so because he has admitted not respecting the Constitution.

So, schizophrenic Red Bean old man Ang also has “the narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), also a mental health diagnosis.”

If you have not visited the Psychiatrist and been prescribed medication, you should do so now, old man Ang. It’d be good for you and for everyone else you get into contact with.

Obama, Trump or all US presidents are the same – they won’t think twice about shaking the hand of despots and corrupt leaders. For the US it is easier to work with a corrupt leader than an upright one. The US has never been known to genuinely want a corruption-free government as it is harder for the US to work with such governments. The U.S. government has a long and unbroken record of working with fascists, dictators, druglords and state sponsors of terrorism in every region of the world. You need to simple search: “List of authoritarian regimes supported by the United States”. For MO1, this handshake with Trump will be godsent as umno media will waste no time at spinning this to show that MO1 is not a kleptocrat and not behind the world’s biggest financial scandal – 1MDB.

PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli has claimed that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s visit to the White House is not an official visit.

The Pandan lawmaker based his argument on the absence of certain protocols such as the lack of an official welcoming ceremony held upon the prime minister’s arrival.

“They must be received in an official manner known as the ‘flight line ceremony’… This is diplomatic protocol,” he told a Facebook Live session today…

It is sad that on a momentous occasion such as this when the leaders of two great democratic nations meet to further forge their long-established bonds and to jointly guide the world to a common destiny that Rafizi, perhaps emboldened by his discoveries and revelations on 1MDB, has chosen to again resort to trivialities in his efforts to disparage a popular prime minister and his equally beloved wife. Yet Najib will not allow such nitpicking to distract him from his mission of creating a better world for all Malaysians. It does not matter a dime that Melanie Trump did not kiss Rosmah as did Michelle to Mrs. Lee Hsien Loong or that she did not even deign to be present. Nor that there was no welcoming ceremony on the White House lawn. Trump’s esteem towards Najib could be seen in how fluently he spoke Bahasa, liberally using concepts like “Ikut kiri” “roti canai” and “Jadi, macam mana?”. The President may visit Malaysia next year unless that damn DoJ screws things up for UMNO.

  10. Najib Whacked Opposition On Eve Of US Trip says:

Najib whacked the Opposition in his blog on the eve of his US trip. Hoping Donald Trump and US media will be kind to him.

He said the Opposition have sought to blacken Malaysia’s name in the American media with wild allegations, including claims that Malaysia is in danger of sliding into dictatorship.

But he gave a weak argument – “the opposition’s ability to argue against the government so openly and vigorously was proof of the increased freedom Malaysians have.” Maybe a little more than in Zimbabwe.

“That does not show pride in what we’ve achieved,” he said … Pssst, a lot negated by the huge 1MDB scandal, brader.

“Our record is clear, as is the enhancements of the people’s freedoms under this administration,” he said. As clear as arresting whistleblowers on 1MDB, blocking Malaysian Insider, Malaysia Chronicle, warnings etc.

Including repealing the Internal Security Act (ISA), said he. He forgot that US still has the ISA-like detention without trial in Guantanamo Bay.

Demonstrations allowed? He did not mention the restrictions. But of course the Americans know the Peaceful Assembly Act restrictions, etc.

Of course the fella tries to belittle the roles played by Tun Dr Mahathir, PPBM, PKR and other component members of Pakatan Harapan. He’s scared to mention the others – Umno gigil lutut. Also, he tries to play the race card – trying to imply DAP is a Chinese party, refusing to acknowledge the Malays and non-Malays in the DAP, including former UMNO ADUN, Arif Sabri, now DAP MP.

“Lim Kit Siang … only wants to use him to topple Umno,” said Annuar. No matter. The fact remains that they want to topple the kleptocrat and the Umno/Bn gomen.

Is it diplomatic, is the timing right for calling an anti-corruption campaign in Putrajaya “on the eve of Najib’s meeting with President Donald Trump in the United States”?

nbcnews had to point out “The campaign comes on the eve of Najib’s meeting with President Donald Trump in the United States on Tuesday, where the Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are pursuing investigations into 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB)”

And the anti-corruption swearing was done by no other than a top diplomat – foreign ministry secretary general Ramlan Ibrahim who raised his right hand as he read out an anti-corruption pledge in “a room packed with Malaysian civil servants.”

When Donald Trump Presidential campaign might have “colluded” with Russian officials and secret agents, could there be “collusion” between the civil servants / organizers of the anti-corruption campaign and the Opposition in Malaysia to embarrass Najib when meeting Donald Trump in the US?

They could have changed the swearing date or at least the Foreign Ministry top diplomat could have “recused” himself from reading the oath. The nbcnews get read in the US and would have reminded Americans – and Donald Trump – that Najib or MO1 has been at the centre of the humongous 1MDB scandal that DoJ / FBI are now focussing on the criminal aspects of their investigations.

Trump could have thanked Najib for the slight whacking of North Korea, breaking off some ties following the murder of the North Korean leader’s brother. He didn’t, maybe because the idea of a “reliable ally” is not feasible as Najib had allowed mainland China a foothold in Malaysia.

Construction of the East Coast Railway Line starting from Kuantan port, through to the west coast of the Peninsular, ports in Malacca and Port Dickson – those that can provide an alternative route for China’s goods to the West in the event of a “containment” or blockade of the traditional route via the pro-US Singapore.

Even when abroad, Naib could not talk much about the positive but talked about the negative aspects of Malaysia, could he?

Bernama reported that Najib urged Malaysians abroad not to be swayed by claims that Malaysia is a failed state. He said so at a gathering at the Malaysian Embassy in Washington, ahead of his first official meeting with President Trump later today.

There must be a lot wrong in the country that Najib has to talk about a failed state even when abroad. That situation must have arisen when “the sovereign wealth fund” 1MDB that he ran could not even raise about RM1 billion to pay interest due to banks that lent it money, until Astro Ananda Krishnan lent the money some time back.

But the gregarious Donald Trump bothers not as the bloke milks cows everywhere – he even puts up a hotel in an Arab country despite being deeply suspicious of Arabs and Muslims, manifesting that in his very restrictive, undemocratic immigration policies. That mooing cow.
