    “Threats to quit ..”

But those who don’t threaten, talk or offer to quit are shameless, no conscience, irresponsible buggers. Stole billions but pretend don’t understand or don’t care what DoJ say – “misappropriation of 1MDB funds and money laundering”.

It’s called kepala batu, pemikiran hantu, jenis syaitan.

If it’s their religion, nothing wrong to pray too much to Tokong. Just like others pray like crazy to Cash Is King.

The problem is when the cash is obtained by dubious means. Donation, it is claimed. “Misappropriation of 1MDB funds and money laundering,” said US Dept of Justice. When laundered in their country, sure they’d know. Their long arms of the law even stretch beyond their borders.

Pray as your religion tells you. But if your religion is money, you’ll meet your doom at Pru14. PH will continue beating the war drums on that.

Senior leaders of Umno are concerned the party may suffer election losses from the string of graft scandals linked to Najib, a source aware of discussions within the party said.

With Najib and the MACC’s clean-up campaign, the source said, the party hopes to appease Malaysians frustrated with the corruption and draw back foreign investors who fled as the probe into 1MDB expanded.

Besides diverting attention from 1MDB, critics say Najib is also using MACC’s anti-graft campaign to target political opponents such as Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. He has been charged with abuse of power in the purchase of a bungalow.

Many inmaterial of race know that the hope for change since GE13 is in positive thoughts with Bersatu in PH. Pas is now considered betrayer. Many Pas members don’t openly show but most are also affected by Gst, higher cost of living and would not be happy with Hadi Umno alliance especially the loot of 1Mdb sure there will be conscience members who will vote for PH. Many nons won’t vote Pas anyway after the betrayal of Hadi Pas. We fear and wouldn’t want IS by pas and umno and many BN members also will vote for PH. Pas won’t be kingmaker and will lose kelantan to umno or Amanah.

The one believing “Cash Is King” and hoards cash by the billions wants to stay in power forever. But finds and gets the cash in very despicable manner.

With that motivation, the word quit simply doesn’t exist in his vocabulary. It’s a very limited vocab – “four more years, four more years …” and such.

In the US, President Richard Nixon quit-ed. But after being impeached. After huge condemnation over what has been called the Watergate scandal. In Malaysia there has been a huge condemnation over the 1MDB scandal.

If no quit, maybe will get sh.t at the coming general elections.

God is great. All human beings are fallible. The ancient Greek warrior Achilles had a weak spot in his heel, was shot dead by an arrow.

A modern Bugis warrior? The term warrior is a misnomer in the first place. Nobody can be called a warrior of a country when he claims to belong to only one small clan. And in modern times, no Bugis, Jawa, Banjar and such – only Malays and non-Malays.

No doubt all the defences have been set up. Including a sure-loyal Attorney General, a new National Security Act that allows for the declaration of emergency in certain areas, that can be used as an excuse to delay general elections.

But the grace of God will be on the side of the rakyat. The DoJ has temporarily set aside the asset seizure actions on the 1MDB ill-gotten gains of the stepson and crony, focussing on the criminal investigations into 1MDB devilish acts.

Sure, maybe a few quiet words with the Donald bloke for help during the coming chat at the White House. But Donald has not been able to influence the DoJ on investigations on his own case – his 2016 campaign “collusion” with Russian officials and secret agents.

Note that DoJ had secured conviction of a former foreign government official -former Ukrainian Prime Minister Lazarenko Sentenced to 97 Months in Prison on 29 counts of money laundering, wire fraud, and interstate transportation of stolen property. “Uncovering the trail of money was key in identifying the corrupt actions of Mr. Lazarenko,” said Scott O’Briant, Special Agent in Charge, IRS Criminal Investigation. “If you put illegal money gain ahead of obeying the law, you can expect to be investigated, prosecuted and sent to prison.”

MO1 knows he could armtwist Trump as US is desperate to win Malaysia support in view of China’s dominance on South China Sea. Obama, Trump or all US presidents are the same – they won’t think twice about shaking the hand of despots and corrupt leaders. For the US it is easier to work with a corrupt leader than an upright one. The US has never been known to genuinely want a corruption-free government as it is harder for the US to work with such governments. The U.S. government has a long and unbroken record of working with fascists, dictators, druglords and state sponsors of terrorism in every region of the world. 4. Najib Has Not Sued WSJ says:

Helping Najib is a mistake, WSJ tells White House

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has questioned the wisdom of the White House and U.S. President Donald J Trump of extending an invitation to Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to visit the Presidential residence.

In a scathing opinion piece Sept 6, the WSJ’s Editorial Board said a visit to the White House is a diplomatic plum that world leaders covet.

“Any embarrassment is better than giving a scandal-tainted leader a White House photo-op,” it said in the hard-hitting article.

“So why is President Trump bestowing this honor on Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, who jailed an opposition leader and is a suspect in a corruption scandal that spans the globe?” it said.

The WSJ said it was not clear that Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson are getting anything in return for associating with a leader their own Justice Department (DOJ) is investigating.

WSJ said this could set them up for a repeat of the way Najib humiliated Barack Obama.

To recap, WSJ said Obama cozied up to Najib and chose to ignore the prosecution of former Deputy Prime Minister and de facto PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim when he made the first visit by a U.S. President in 60 years to Kuala Lumpur in April 2014.

Eight months later, Obama invited Najib for a showy round of golf in Hawaii, said WSJ.

The influential paper said Najib oversaw the creation of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB), a state-owned fund that was supposed to attract foreign investment.

It said the U.S. DOJ alleges that the Prime Minister and his associates looted the fund of US$4.5 billion.

“The DOJ has filed civil lawsuits to freeze more than $1.6 billion of assets allegedly stolen from the fund. Five other nations are also investigating, and Singapore has convicted five financiers of money laundering and fraud. Mr. Najib hasn’t been charged and denies wrongdoing, and Malaysia’s Attorney General cleared him.

“Under Najib, Malaysian authorities also conducted a six-year prosecution against opposition leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on dubious charges of sodomy, for which he was sentenced to five years in prison.

“That legal farce helped Najib’s party win a narrow victory in the 2013 election,” it said.

WSJ added that the benefits of communing with Najib are not obvious.

“Perhaps Mr. Tillerson thinks Malaysia will help tighten the financial screws on North Korea, which has long used the country as a business hub.

“But Mr. Najib isn’t likely to stop his strategic drift toward China. Keeping 1MDB afloat will require cash infusions, and China, eager to help fellow authoritarians, can deploy its One Belt, One Road slush fund. Mr. Najib can then buy off the opposition and consolidate power,” it said.

WSJ said if Malaysia slides into dictatorship, it will almost surely fall into Beijing’s orbit.

It said the U.S. relationship depends on Malaysia remaining a viable democracy.

“That’s why helping Mr. Najib at this critical moment is a mistake,” said WSJ.

    • Ang Tao Peng says:

  5. The RCI will strengthen Dr M, not Najib says:

    A comment in M’kini says:

The month of September will mark a low point for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak with the forex Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) and his US trip. If only he knew that the opposition and the people of Malaysia understand his every move.

In the RCI, Nor Mohamed Yakcop, one of the most important figures in Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) in the 1980s, affirmed that neither Mahathir nor Anwar Ibrahim were informed of the forex losses. Nor Mohamed explained in a careful but objective statement at the RCI that several key events forced BNM to enter into the fray of forex trading.

First, the Japanese yen had strengthened more than 50 percent after the Plaza Accord in 1986, where members of the G7 allowed the yen to trend upward. Malaysia carried yen loans from various infrastructure projects and BNM entered into the volatile currency market – beyond the preservation of the value of the ringgit, they did so to help Malaysia increase its profits, reduce its losses and consolidate its reserves.

Unlike 1MDB, the forex losses were driven by the higher motivation of saving the country economically from an adverse international financial environment, where even the Bank of England made the wrong bet on its own pound…

  10. 2/3 Majority Or No Majority? says:

Malaysiakini news quoted Najib as saying: “We need a two-thirds majority to change the Constitution.”

But what does he want to change the Constitution for? To allow for Malaysia becoming an appendage of China?

Will continue to allow such short-sighted policies as the Johore Forest City housing development constructing 700,000 units (according to Bloomberg News) of expensive housing units meant for mainland Chinese? Which will accomodate 700,000 x 4 = 2.8 million mainland Chinese given permanent stay in this country and, after 12 years, become eligible for citizenship? Making Johor a Chinese majority state in time to come?

Upsetting the status quo in the ratio of Malays-to-Chinese population? Good that even the kampong people are already aware of this and hoo haa, desas desus, grumbling been heard against that.

Najib cannot get, and must not be allowed to get 2/3 majority – even any majority – with acts and omissions like the above. He omitted to act against the upsetting of the population status quo which has the potential of making Johor like a province of China.

  11. Salleh Talking Rubbish says:

Bernama quoted Salleh Keruak saying: Dr Mahathir merely DAP’s instrument to split Malay voters.

What utter rubbish. Tun M an “instrument to split Malay voters”? Can’t he think of something better to criticize Tun M with? He didn’t read about Tun M repeatedly saying he wants to topple Najib at Pru14? And DAP has been at it too for ages? Is that the stuff Najib’s Minister of Information is made? Sad. Very sad.

Saying “Kit Siang no longer wants to talk about Mahathir’s past when he was prime minister ..”, is he that naive not to know that people’s stand often changes with differing circumstances?

What “.. they are both very evasive”? What “Kit Siang tries to deflect ..”? It’s as plain as night and day, why say “the fact that his main objective is to defeat UMNO by saying that if UMNO is defeated, it will be good for the Malays as well as UMNO.”? Of course, any valid arguments can be used to topple Najib and Umno at Pru14.

Of course they talked about the voters from the Malay heartland and how they needed to erode UMNO’s influence in those areas if they wanted to defeat UMNO.

Salleh giving an invalid argument again, saying “For that to happen .. need for the Malays to be divided because a united Malay community would be to the advantage of UMNO.” Is he covering the attempt by Najib to do so by wooing PAS?

  12. Anonymous says:

Hah, Tun Dr Mahathir said: “Toppling Najib more important than saying sorry”

“Sorry” is not the hardest word to say but the bigger agenda for Tun now is to end Najib’s administration in the next elections.

“Right now, we up against a man who is destroying the country. Do you want to say, before you do that .. ‘I am sorry’? Tun Dr Mahathir asked during a Facebook live session with The Malaysian Insight.

“Now, our aim is to get together and to overthrow this kleptocrat because he is destroying this country.”

“We are owing huge sums of money we cannot pay and his policy of divide-and-rule, separating the Malays from the Chinese so that he can get Malay support is destroying the unity of the people,” said Dr Mahathir.

“So do we want to say, until Dr Mahathir has said ‘sorry’, we don’t want to do anything. Or do we want to rescue this country from evil hands.”

Lim Kit Siang, who was also at the session, said there must be a single-mindedness with regard to bringing change.

“Because the alternative is too terrible to think of. If we fail to bring change this time in the 14th general election, then we may be stuck for a decade or two.

“And then we will be hurled on a trajectory of a failed and rogue state. Then it may be too late and terrible to recover from and we’ll end up like an African nation.

“As such, all Malaysians, regardless of race, religion and politics, need to pull together,” said Lim.

    I agree with Anwar saying:

RCI is farcical if Mahathir and I don’t testify

Calling it a farce, Anwar criticised RCI chairman Mohd Sidek Hassan’s reply to his lawyer on Wednesday, over the need for him to appear before the commission.

“I am astonished that the chairman replied that they have ‘yet to decide’ whether to call me.

“It would be farcical if this enquiry is concluded without hearing my testimony,” Anwar said in a statement today.

“Considering that I was the finance minister at the material time, it cannot be very difficult to make this decision.”

    My comment:

Sidek is afraid he might not achieve the purpose of the RCI – to humiliate Tun M and Anwar. If Tun M and Anwar testify, they cannot but record the facts that’ll show the fiasco was not the direct responsibility of the two, but of Bank negara’s staff.

Especially so when Nor Mohamed Yaacob, the most important person in the forex affair, has said both Tun M and Anwar were not involved in the forex dealings.

Sidek might lose his coveted Petronas Chairman’s post if he doesn’t deliver a satisfactory result in the RCI.

  14. a says:

I also like the following report by The Independent:

    Why Mahathir’s wit worries Najib

What has Najib learned from Mahathir Mohamad’s smart replies? Surely many things as the former Prime Minister’s cunning replies filled with sarcasm has hurt the image of the Malaysian PM badly.

In a sudden backlash to his wild remarks and unfounded accusations against Mahathir, Malaysia’s PM Najib Razak has suddenly toned down his personal attacks.

Instead, he shifted for a fast forward Royal Commission of Inquiry on a long gone case of forex losses against Mahathir – one of the many that Malaysia has seen – but with it is an RCI with an obvious objective: To nail Mahathir.

While all RCI’s should be as independent as possible, the current one against Mahathir is rigged with a mysterious approach.

The RCI’s chairman Mohd Sidek Hassan apparently replied to Mahathir and former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s request to testify at the hearing, denying them the right to do so.

Today, the former opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim slammed Sidek for being undecided over the need to call him and Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to testify.

It shows how Najib is afraid of the no-pun-intended answers by Mahathir, who lately have taken Najib to task by replying to him in short but sharp videos.

Take the case of the construction of the transport industry in Malaysia. Najib went – according to him viral – by saying Mahathir has never paid any attention to the woes of the public while his regime never helped in building the local transportation system.

Mahathir’s answer – published here on TISG – was funny, witty and on the dot indication of the intelligence that divides the two leaders.

While Najib wanted to ridicule Mahathir by saying he gave a ‘gift of transportation’ to the Malaysians with the newly built MRT lines, Mahathir replied in his traditional cunning way that he, as PM never laid a stone to build the local LRT lines adding that it was the job of the labourers and workers whom he seemed to quality as the heroes.

The video went viral all over Malaysia, but it irritated Najib so much that he decided to attack Mahathir on the ‘legal’ standpoint.

Thus the RCI was called Illico-Presto to ‘judge and nail’ Mahathir once and for all.

But like the Samsung Note 7 – that was launched in a preemptive manner to attack the Apple 7 launch – the RCI is backfiring.

The public has a clear idea what the RCI is about – if not a demonstration of the lack of judgment by the Najib regime on how to tackle a frail, dying old man.

The idea of Mahathir dying soon was launched recently by Raja Petra Kamarudin, once a prominent pro-opposition blogger and staunch pro-Anwar who has now fallen into oblivion after joining the pro-Najib bandwagon.

Though Raja Petra meant Mahathir’s political inquest against Najib will die soon with the said RCI, Mahathir 91 and is a frail person compared to his hay days.

But Mahathir, dead, will be even more dangerous to Najib.

The RCI judges are not ready to hear Mahathir’s sarcastic responses, and they are not ready to allow Mahathir to be seen together with Anwar at the RCI – an event will strengthen the opposition rather than weaken it.

Hence, the RCI is planning its own demise by not allowing both Mahathir and Anwar to testify.

My comment: I like the conclusion – “the RCI is planning its own demise by …”

The bastard Ang Tiunama Peng has gone dead again. He might jump out from his grave upon mention of his idol RPK who he salivates on by copy pasting RPK postings. His saliva must have gone dry for some reason as he went AWOL.

But next he appears, he’d madly claim he has better English, wit, sharp and succinct replies against Najib etc. He has said Najib is not worth even RM1.00. That’s not wit, that’s shit.

You mean the fake news site of Singapore?

“Government site Independent.sg take down fake news”
“Government fake news site Independent.sg yesterday (Sep 3) took down a fake news article claiming that a Malaysian hospital demanded payment before giving emergency medical treatment. The government news site initially blocked all traffic from Malaysian sources after it could not stand criticisms from Malaysians condemning the fake news article.”

Nothing for Njib to be proud of being invited to meet Donald Trump at the White House. He’s No. 70 something, I think. And Singapore and Thai PM are scheduled in October.

But Vietnamese PM has already met Trump. And Filipino President Dueterte even snubbed Trump’s invitation – he has more important things to do, he said.

A vote for Harapan is a vote for hope. Never mind if they haven’t got the manifesto fixed, but move away from the one that will perpetuate the country’s indebtedness and enhance the wealth of corrupt and morally unacceptable BN.

“Never mind” about going along with a fcuked up party with no “manifesto” they can’t get “fixed”, just to get fcuked up!

And the party is even called Pantakan Harakiri!

Watch them riot and fcuk themselves to death if they win the next election and every “leader” wants to be PM!
