If an Assistant Registrar of a magistrate’s court can issue a five day remand order against a State Executive Councillor without following the rules of law, I shudder to think what will happen to an ordinary person like me. If this AR gets away scot-free, the next thing is a peon in the magistrate’s office can issue a remand order for four days if the MACC approaches him/her on a Saturday night.

What about Jho low and MO1 with billions in their pockets. The registrar of court did the right thing by not being the hounders. Do not forget Anuar Musa in the MARA financial Scandal.

Phee’s remand overturn jeopardised probe, says MACC
          14 Aug 2017, 7:37 pm (Updated 15 Aug 2017, 12:31 am)

The decision by the Penang High Court to overturn the remand order against the state executive councillor Phee Boon Poh has jeopardised the ongoing investigation, said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

This graft-buster has given this as one of the grounds in its plan to appeal against the court’s ruling.

“MACC looks at the matter seriously because the decision has jeopardised the investigation process carried out by the investigation team which was aggressively completing the investigation paper against Phee and two other suspects,” said MACC in a statement today.

To all the BN supporters in this forum: are you suffering from the high cost of living? Yes or no? Why are you not earning more? Why are the countries around us doing better?

Why are Singaporeans able to afford nice foreign holidays and you can’t? Why do you suffer traffic jams? Why are cars so expensive?

Why are our schools lousy? Why our universities not producing graduates who can build strong international companies and lead scientific research?

The fact is that you do not know what you are missing. Malaysia is a rich country but all the money has been stolen, misused, but you think we are doing great because Umno says so.

No, you are not doing great. Just look at our neighbouring countries who do not have half the natural resources and a much bigger population to feed. They are catching up.

The answer is simple. Umno and BN have failed. They must be voted out.

DoJ suspended the civil suits, pending criminal investigations for possible criminal suits, after it discovered that almost the entire Malaysian Government was involved in the 1MDB Scandal. The IRD in Malaysia only wants to collect taxes. It does not act on money laundering. Bank Negara can act on money laundering. It fined AmBank RM57 million for money laundering activities related to 1MDB. In Singapore and Switzerland, for similar offences related to 1MDB, the banks concerned were fined very heavily, lost their licences and were shut down. The bank officials involved were permanently banned from the banking industry. 1MDB was also fined an undisclosed sum by the central bank for misleading it on transfer of money abroad.

The Chinese did that, morphed into everybody else in every country, by being as good as or even better than everyone else.

While they can still morph back into being Chinese, no loss!

During the day, a Chinese can be Ibrahim Abdullah, in the evening he is Mr John Wong Song Kok. Or he can be both in the day and in the evening, depending on who is making him a profit.

“Why are the countries around us doing better?”

        Their monkeys are infinitely smarter.

And their economists pay less than peanuts to extract more from the more able – that is very good understanding of economics: why would you pay lazy fcuking rentseekers any more than they don’t deserve?!

And that’s why we bring in the cheaper migrants to do the work Malaysians won’t and can’t do.

A good dilution of our dumbphcuk population and an influx of migrants from the populations of more intelligent and more able countries would improve Malaysia vastly. It will render our pig stupid and pig lazy rentseeker population irrelevant.

I vote we let in more foreigners and even better they take over Malaysia eventually as they become citizens, it can only do this piece of land great good, a piece of land is only as useful as productive as its population, any good economist would tell you that.

And why would you want a big bunch of useless and worthless pig fcuking stupid and pig fcuking lazy retards lecturing to you about “nationalism”, “constitution”, “special shagging positions” when you can have intelligent and efficient migrants doing actual productive work?! You can shag all these 24/7 every day until the Kerala bullocks come home, and Malaysia will never improve one bit – but turn into an older “Civilisation” than the Neanderthal times.

Singapore is doing exactly what the good economists and others said, bring in better bloodlines, make the noisy loud local monkeys irrelevant, why bother with what the losers are moaning and screaming about?!

We already had a pendatang Kerala Keling for PM, what’s wrong with having an imported Chinese, Bangla, Indon, etc for PM?!

Ang Tiunama Peng is talking like a madman.

Ang Tao Peng is a mad person. Diagnosed having schizophrenia.

Despite being periodically reminded to take his pills, he refused to do so. His abuses here must be disabused by responding to his comment each and every time he shows up. So that the non-regular visitors know the comments come from a madman and are not to be believed.

His most obvious schizophrenia symptom is delusions of grandeur. Deluding himself into thinking and claiming he is very clever, very rich, etc, which he is not:

          1. Claimed to have degrees from “four top US and UK universities” and a string of professional qualifications and awards. When asked, he refused to say even the names of the universities. When told he’d be checked against the Register of graduates of Oxford or Cambridge Universities, he quickly said the name he uses here (made to look like a genuine, full name) is not his own.

          2. Claimed to have “posh” properties in UK, Singapore and Indonesia. Claimed that his family have migrated to Europe bringing their wealth along. Yet admitted he is living in a far-flung, non-commercial or regional centre – Sibu, Sarawak

          3. Claimed to “belong to a family of bankers and industrialists” but refused to say whether from Shanghai or where, yet he is living in non-industrial Sarawak

          4. Claimed to have many friends. But admitted in here last Chinese New Year eve that he went out to buy fried kuayteow for dinner, eating alone and desolate, on a CNY eve

Other examples showing that he is mad:

          1. Always rude, abusive and vulgar in his comments. In the process, he constantly lies, cheats and cons readers here

          2. Always puts out loose opinions, makes unsubstantiated, unjustified and not-even-explained wild claims and allegations

          3. Often racist, seditious and subversive. Anti-Malays, anti-Islam, even anti-Hakkas and anti-Hokkiens. To the extent that Mubarak Chan has noted an observation that Ang is not a Chinaman

          4. Keeps talking about the exiatence of a “moderator” in a non-moderated blog like STL where anyone can write a comment, click the “Post Comment” button and it’ll automatically appear on the blog page without a moderator making it so

          5. At 79 years old, mad Ang often behaves like a child. Always name calling and saying such things as DAP = Dead And Past party, DAP = Duplicitous Amoral Party, DAP = Desperate And Panicky party, etc. That’s another sign that he is mad.

  2. a says:

No doubt the BN dedak fellas will say all sorts of nonsense, time and again.

But what Lim Kit Sing says has merit –

Are the conditions ripe for a ‘Malaysian’ tsunami?

There are definitely signs pointing to this becoming a reality in the coming general elections. Previous ceramahs in rural areas that were only attended by a handful of people now see people turning out in the hundreds.

When Bersatu leaders such as Dr Mahathir Mohamad and/or Muhyiddin Yassin are present, the numbers can easily swell to the thousands, including the Felda areas which were previously ‘no-go’ areas for the opposition.

Recent survey results also indicate that PAS is losing ground among the electorate and the perception among Malay voters that the RUU355 issue is being used by Umno to ‘manipulate’ PAS is also growing.

With this in mind, I call upon Malaysians of all races and backgrounds to unite together to create a ‘Malaysian’ tsunami which will wipe out BN in the next general election and allow the country to start on a clean slate with Harapan leading the way to a better and brighter future for the country.

This is an abomination. No matter what Mr. Phee has done and I am sure its nothing at all actually, for these Malay UMNO scum to parade a man of his advanced years and very clear frailty around in handcuffs is, in all my forty years in Malaysia, one of the most disgusting displays of racial discrimination and abuse that I have ever seen. These thugs and degenerates of MACC have shown to what quite appalling and low levels of degradation that UMNO has now sunk.

      • Anonymous says:

Don’t make it racial. UMNO has been known as a Malay party since formation. No need to say Malay UMNO scum.

That’s the arrest of a man suspected of breaking the law. Why you perceive it as “parade a man of his advanced years and very clear frailty around in handcuffs is, in all my forty years in Malaysia, one of the most disgusting displays of racial discrimination and abuse”?

You are not Malaysian – saying “in all my forty years in Malaysia”. What is that a business of yours?

And you sound making a wild allegation – not explaining how and what made you see that as “racial discrimination and abuse”. Just because the guy is Chinese and the arresters are Malays? MACC is not a Malay organisation, it’s a government agency.

I don’t like Najib and UMNO now. But I don’t like any attempt to portray a normal arrest as racial.

NATIONAL Unity and Integration Department Director-General Baharin Idris says more and more Malay parents are sending their children to national-type Chinese primary school, indicating that the country’s multi-stream school system is gaining the Malay community’s recognition.

Not only has the multi-stream school system not hindered national unity, more and more Malays are accepting Chinese education, he said, adding that this is a positive development.

Speaking to Sin Chew Daily in an interview published yesterday, Baharin said this is a reflection that the Malay community today can accept Chinese education.

This is tolerance, just like the prime minister has said, which is encouraging, he said.

“This is like all races coming together to celebrate one another’s festivals, and Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Chinese New Year and Deepavali have become celebrations for all Malaysians, and no longer just for specific races.”

Baharin felt that Malay pupils can also do well in Chinese schools or even better (than they can in national schools).

He said the Malay community sees this as an opportunity to advance, particularly when, in the move towards globalisation, the government is maintaining a very good relationship with the world’s two new economic giants – China and India.

In view of this, he said, it is important for us to master more than one language.

In order of importance, he listed Bahasa Malaysia, which is our official language and a must for better communication for all, followed by English, Chinese, Tamil and others.

He said the department plans to roll out pupil’s mother-tongue language classes such as Chinese, Tamil, Kadazan and Iban languages in government-run kindergartens next year for better communication and integration.

Based on Education Ministry’s figures, there were 67,128 bumiputra pupils studying in Chinese primary schools last year, accounting for 12.6% of these schools’ total population of 53,5273.

Statistics showed the number of bumiputra pupils enrolling in Chinese schools had been on the increase since 2010.

Based on 2016 figures, apart from Sabah and Sarawak, Selangor and Johor had the most number of bumiputra pupils in Chinese schools, at 7,007 and 5,804 respectively.

          • a says:

The National Unity DG’s claim that “the country’s multi-stream school system is gaining the Malay community’s recognition” is not correct. It’s only a tiny percentage attending Chinese schools. And the percentage used to justify the claim above is misleading and deceptive – “12.6% of these schools’ total population of 53,5273”, whereas Malays constitute about 60% of the population of the country.

There is no end to Najib and his boys trying to win Chinese votes, bending backwards in doing so. But in the process, he loses the Malay votes – those who believe in and have been speaking for single stream education since many years already but simply ignored by Najib.

And trying to say “the multi-stream school system not hindered national unity”, that’s subjective and the opposite can also be said, where Chinese children do not have the opportunity to mix around and get to know the other races as much as in the sekolah kebangsaan.

“Speaking to Sin Chew Daily in an interview”, well, of course the DG has to say those to please his ultimate boss and quote him, too. Apa daaaaa.

Then the bloke himself sabotages the national schools by saying Malay pupils can also do well in Chinese schools or even better (than they can in national schools). What the fook …

Mandarin is not an international language, spoken by over 1 billion people but almost wholly in China, and in South China they still use mother tongue, demonstrated against Beijing’s enforcement of the use of Mandarin – they demo-ed in Canton and Hong Kong for that 1-2 years ago.

So, the PM’s Dept guy will next say Malaysians must learn Hindi, Tamil, too? India is also on the rise economically, also has over 1 billion population.

“Mandarin is not an international language, spoken by over 1 billion people but almost wholly in China, and in South China they still use mother tongue”

Malay is not only not an “international language” and never likely ever to be one ever, the mashup rojak is not even known as a “speak” in most of the world.

That dumb remark “spoken by over 1 billion people but almost wholly in China” has no context nor basis for Malaysia – and nothing to do with anything than a backward uneducated longkang racist envy of the language the world has taken for granted will be a key language of the centuries to come.

Chinese language has become very widely available for many countries in the world and there has been much enthusiasm for it not just because it is useful for trade and travel, but many find the language fascinating, if not challenging – many people of course enjoy a challenge and hard work (which would scare our pig stupid and pig lazy rentseeker parasites!).

Even nearly a decade back, some schools in Britain make it compulsory to take Chinese, the Brighton College even made it a requirement just for enrolling with them. I haven’t seen the same demand made for Malay.

A lot of foreigners who manage to just make it out where Malaysia is think “Malaysian” is spoken by Malaysians. It is a better idea to have “Malaysian” as a language for Malaysia, we can cobble together another pile of rojak comprising proportions of the languages of the different folks of Malaysia.

That won’t be a bad idea at all since “Malay” noises occupy a tiny part of the “Malay” rojak, the “speak” is bits and parts of other people’s more sophisticated and nicer sounding languages. To be honest, songs sung in Malay is quite painful to the ear. Which may explain why our youngsters flock to hug Koreans than make international rock stars out of our singers in “Malay”.

My Malay women friends enjoy speaking in English (and French and German) with me, and between themselves and other Malay friends of mine, avoid speaking Malay altogether. Some avoid Malays too, and, apparently, this is quite common among our more educated and cultured elite, so says quite a lot of Malays. Some of my Malay women friends, intellectually and physically well-endowed as they may be, prefer not to marry than to marry Malays.

Of course, many Malays these days learn Chinese or a Chinese dialect or two, and many Malays send their kids to Chinese schools. It would be pig stupid to say that because the greater proportion of Malays have not been learning Chinese or send their kids to Chinese school, Chinese is still not “popular”. Chinese will be popular as it is increasingly gaining popularity, it will be a matter of a short time we will find a big proportion of Malays learning Chinese and going to Chinese schools.

Here is another pig dumb remark “and in South China they still use mother tongue” which means nothing. What has that got to do with Malaysians learning Chinese?!

The number of, particularly the elderly still using their dialects has been dwindling over the decades, in due course, except for those specially preserved dialects, precious few would be using any dialect in their daily life. While dialects may have been around for centuries (some were even languages, Min dialect (“Hokkien”) and Cantonese were Tang and even Song dynasty languages.

Although dialect groups have their own distinct ways of speaking, their root is still Mandarin – the written form of the language is common to all Chinese dialects.

Dialects will remain in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, (and even in China where some old literature have still to be read out in certain dialects) but most of the dialect speakers have already been speaking Mandarin for ages.

Hong Kong and Macua quickly caught up in recent decades, and many can manage their own dialect plus eg various Hakka dialects. In Taiwan, there are folks who can manage Min dialects, Hakka, on top of their Mandarin, and English!

It is not an issue for those who are industrious and resourceful to pick up as many language as possible, at the worst, the pig stupid and pig lazy have only to stop being pig stupid and pig lazy, learn whatever they can.

The Jews have said the Chinese are closest to them for the fact that they value education and learning. Our chickenshit “supremacists” and longkang phcukheads and lazybones have to realise this if they want to continue get their supply of dedak – and, hopefully, some intelligence!

And the distinguished late professor of psychiatry in the prestigious School of Psychiatry, London University, Hans Eysenck in his research into “race and intelligence” said that the Chinese are the formerly Chinese-influenced Korea and Japan are the “most intelligent race” in the world.

We all know where the Yahudis got to, and even Kerala Keling pendatang Mugathir McKutty worships them and begs to be their ar selicker and ar sewipe – have a look at that crawling grovelling letter he wrote Israel which is still here on this website. For every non-Chinese crony, Mugathir McKutty has fifty Chinese ones.

For every business lead by a non-Chinese that fails and fails miserably, Mugathir McKutty still has fifty very successful Chinese cronies to keep him happy.

The moral of the story is there cannot but good if one learns Chinese.

            And learn from the Chinese.

And, if you want to remain racist to the Chinese, you need learn Chinese, learn about the Chinese, and learn from the Chinese, also!

If you don’t know anything but delusional nonsense you invented about the Chinese, it is no surprise you get phcuked stupid by the Chinese all the time!

And if you don’t learn Chinese or learn from the Chinese, you will have no coping mechanism inside you when you phcuk the Chinese and the Chinese phcuk you kau kau – and you phcuk yourself even more kau kau as a favour to them!

Btw, if you dress up in red sashed “beauty pageant” drag queen pondan outfit and wave a keris as those pantomime artists in PorKKKAssa would do, the Chinese laugh like crazy they sold you the outfits and the Made-in-China tourist souvenir keris at grossly-inflated price, make a whopping profit, and pray more would join PorKKKAssa!

Just don’t stab that keris up your ar se, go find a Chinese to teach you how to handle that cheap rusting blade – if you want to be a clown, the Chinese would make you a mighty fine one – at a nice profit!

But hell, citizens must learn and speak it when in the presence of others. Otherwise, throw away your citizenship certificates, BCs and ICs.

WTF talk about “Chinese language has become very widely available for many countries ..” – available yes, but nobody speaks it except a few.

Shit talking “many find the language fascinating, if not challenging” – You have been described as a madman many times over, your opinions don’t count ta all.

Those who don’t like or belittle the Malay language that’s enshrined as Article 152 of the Constitution should scram and migrate to countries where they are not expected to learn or speak it in public. And the bastard Ang Tiunama trying to make fun of it should be shoved with a 5 ft pole into his assol.

Now the bastard starts claiming having women friends again when the only women he knows are the leg spreaders, social escorts, etc from whom he squeezes commission as a nasty and lazy rentseeker gang leader which is his occupation.

All his claim of “many” Malays learning a Chinese dialect and “many” Malays send their kids to Chinese schools are bullshit. Malays are about 60% of the population and the bastard saying “many” is really bullshit.

What has “in South China they still use mother tongue” to do with Malaysians learning Chinese? That shows the lopsided mentality of the blokes who insist on Mandarin in Malaysia yet in South China where they originate from, they shun Mandarin.

Whoever is interested in knowing “their root is still Mandarin”, about Hong Kong, Taiwan and such? You learn and use BM in public, d’ya hear? If not … you know what to do.

Who said “The Jews have said the Chinese are closest to them”? If you said that, you don’t count, as your CV says you constantly lie, cheat and con readers.

And quoting the late professor of psychiatry in the prestigious School of Psychiatry, London University? You have been consulting a Psychiatrist in London? No wonder. But do take your pills and not talk nonsense in here, will you?

Thanks for telling about the London Psychiatrist. Now whatever you say that sounds nonsensical like ranting on Tun Dr Mahathir, it’d be due to you not taking the psychiatrist’s prescription. Follow his advice, Ang Tiunama. Take the pills regularly.

We already have Malays in South Africa who can speak English, Afrikaan, Zulu, etc – though they have gone nowhere, some even work as dishwashers, kitchen assistants, rubbish disposers at Chinese restaurants. That is, when they are not into drug peddling, extortion rackets, gangsterism… Both the Malays and Chinese were migrants, but the Chinese have shone and with China on the rise in Africa, shine even brighter…

Malaysia and Malaysians must get in the act over trade etc with Africa, we are destined to be the only fcuking Sambos left in the world if we don’t – many of our monkeys still have that colonial niggah mentality!

That confirms all that’s said in the following c&p about you being a madman –

Troublemakers have ignited two flares, thrown chairs and flung shoes and slippers on stage when Dr Mahathir Mohamad was speaking. The fracas forced organisers have escorted Dr Mahathir and other VIPs out of the hall immediately.

Bersatu security personnel detained two of the troublemakers at the event in the Selangor Youth and Culture Complex in Shah Alam. SHAH ALAM, Aug 13 — A Chinese DAP youth worker was hailed as a hero for risking his life to save a group of Malays from assailants that violently disrupted a forum where Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was speaking at.

A teary Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) youth chief Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman told reporters after the incident that the DAP worker, by the name of Danial, did his duty as a security worker by taking a beating to protect a group of Malays from getting hurt.

“You say there is racism but…” Syed Saddiq said before he paused to control his emotion. “This guy, he is from DAP… when the incident happened he didn’t run backwards. Instead he went in (and used his body) to protect those who were attacked”.

DAP later confirmed that the worker involved was Danial Low.

A picture provided by the party showed that Low had sustained a bruise on his forehead after assailants hit him with a chair.

Violence erupted at the “Nothing to Hide 2.0” forum here earlier as assailants set off flares and attacked some of the forum participants with chairs in what appeared to be an attempt to sabotage the event.

The two men were apprehended by the organisers, the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia Armada youth wing, before they were handed over to the police.

A mob had chased several people to a parking area opposite Dewan Raja Muda Musa at Selangor Youth and Culture Complex where the event was held.

A mob also chased after a man back into the hall and started beating him up, before a group of men believed to be security personnel for the event took the man away and shielded him from the mob.

The melee started about 5.30pm when a flare was hurled on stage. Police had deployed a Light Strike Force anti-riot team about 6.30pm.

The NST report was not clear whether Police personnel were there at the start of the melee. And, if not, why. They are expected to have personnel in uniform mixing with the crowd.

Note that the use of the flares showed that some planning had been done and bad-intentioned buggers were used to disrupt the forum. NST did not say who they were or who sent them.

The devotees of the DAP = Demolished And Phcuked party should think about altering the fengshui under the windows of wherever the law has taken the Piss for a good round of long long hours of questioning.

And will it be a piss against the wind if the Piss suffers the same fate as Teoh Beng Hock, used by the DAP = Devious Abominable Pseudologists party and discarded and forgotten?

The Piss should think hard about spilling the Red Bean if he has been up to some hanky panky, cut a deal with the law, the fortune is down and on the way out for the DAP = Done And Past party, not many years left with the “old and frail”, best give up and spend the rest of life by the beach staring at sunsets…!

If his thugs have seen others wearing the right T-shirt for the wrong event, how is it they are so pig stupid and pig lazy they couldn’t keep outsiders out?

The very simple arithmetic is that when they saw their party of no members swelling up, alarm bells should start ringing. Even more so, when their unpopular T-shirt suddenly became so popular!

I have said the PPBM = Pig Pe nis Blowers of McKutty party would not last much longer, and the colourful Son et Lumiere spectacular was spectacular with the sounds of loud noisy gibberish and the lighting was done with a lot of flare = all heralding the closure of the bankrupt no-party party!

All Ang Tiunama Peng’s comments to day – up to now – are rude, abusive and vulgar.

      Consistent with his CV –

Constantly Lying, Cheating and Conning Schizophrenic Red Bean old man “Ang” –

      1. At first, he cheated on his blogging name, using what appeared to be the full name of a Chinese, presumably in order to gain respect for him as a blogger. When threatened to have his name checked against the list of graduates of “top UK universities” that he claimed to have degrees from, he panicked, and declared that Ang Tao Peng is not his real name.

      2. He claimed to be graduates of not just “two top UK universities”, but also of “two top US universities”. He is mad. Nobody can ever be like that. But when told that, he simply kept quiet. He doesn’t provide proof, substantiation or justification. Saying he’s not obliged to do so. So, we are “obliged” to deem him as Lying, Cheating and Conning Schizophrenic Red Bean old man Ang.

      3. He claimed to be descended from “a clan of bankers and industrialists of East China”, denied being descended from “coolies” of South China brought in by British colonialists in the 19th century onwards. Yet, saying “his folks” having migrated to Europe bringing “a lot of wealth”, he is left plonked in a non-industrialist Malaysia and living in Sarawak (he claimed, though likely to be in Penang, a Red Bean, using so many names and pretending to be so many personalities. He knows the term “multiple personalty disorder” and the symptoms well).

      4. In the beginning of his foray in this blog, he portrayed the image of, and did say he was a retiree, an old man, expressing the style of the usual Red Beans gang (those engaged by DAP to terrorize blogosphere during PRU13 election campaign, writing in uncontrolled fashion, often rude, abusive and vulgar, wild, unsubstantiated and unjustified claims and allegations). But when accused of being among the hooligans that caused the race riots of 1969, he denied being around, physically and age-wise, at that time.

      5. He lied, cheated and conned so often that he even forgot what he lied and conned. And got caught several times in the process. I’m therefore quite sure readers would treat what he writes here as jokes and would just enjoy the fun and entertainment on and out of the schizophrenic old man Ang who stubbornly refused to take his pills.

      6. It’s blokes like this “Ang” bugger who bring down the image of the Chinese in this country.

For the info of readers not familiar with the spat between Ang Tiunama Peng and me –

In fact, the spat between the schizophrenic Red Bean old man “Ang Tao Peng” and me (blogging as Anonymous and, in the midst of so many Anonymouses, under the nic “a”) has turned into enmity. It has to be told that each and every comment the old man “Ang” made in here (except the “komen bodoh”) has been replied, whacked and shitted, so as to get into his thick skull that he cannot say anything he likes, any time he likes, putting out loose opinions, making wild unsubstantiated and unjustified claims and allegations, without being challenged and given knocks on his head (di sekel kepala nya).

Because he does not respect the Constitution and the laws of this country, it’s dangerous to allow his comments go unreplied. He has been seditious and subversive at times, e.g laughing at the National Language, propagating the words “Melayu bodoh”, frequently throwing the term “lazy rentseekers” which has been bandied about by the Red Beans during the PRU13 campaign to imply “lazy Malays”.

He has even said the Malays are not a race, have no civilization, even demeaning and making fun of the professors and lecturers of History, Malay Studies, Linguistics, Anthropology, Archaeology, DNA Science etc who are members (a few are on the Executive Committee) of the Historical Society of Malaysia that have published the books “The Malay Civilization” and “Tamadun Alam Melayu” (available at Wisma Sejarah, opposite IJN, Jalan Tun A Razak, KL).

He and the likes of him must not be allowed to do those any more as now there are many Malays able to shit them back with valid arguments supported by the facts of history, complete with quotes and stating the authorities of the information given.

Excerpts from Dominique F. Fernandes, a Harvard Law School LLM graduate’s article in The Diplomat, with my comments in brackets:

Malaysia’s 14th General Elections: Standing Still

With the national opposition in disarray, the elections seem to be Barisan Nasional’s to lose. (Note the opinion that BN will likely lose. But the Opposition is not really in disarray- BN also has unity problems like component parties’ stand on PAS Hudud).

KUALA LUMPUR – Reeling from the results of the last general election in 2013, Prime Minister Najib Razak attributed his party’s loss of the popular vote to a “Chinese Tsunami,” exposing the underbelly of race relations in Malaysia, although the true cause of the loss was more the country’s urban-rural divide.

Faced with the looming necessity of a general election that must be called before mid-June 2018, the prime minister has been working overtime to remind his electorate of the benefits of supporting the ruling party, by doling out unsustainable aid, securing foreign investments, and rolling out policies like the National Transformation 2050 TN50. (There has been lacklustre support on the TN50, even among the Civil Service, the movers of government policies. Note the words “unsustainable aid”.)

The Najib administration has hit the ground to continuously remind Malaysians that the country’s fundamentals remain strong and that the economy has been registering steady growth despite slowdowns in many parts of the region. Digesting government propaganda with increasingly vocal skepticism, Malaysians are unhappy with increase in oil prices, the decline of the ringgit, and the overall drop in purchasing power, resulting in shrinking savings. (Note the words “increasingly vocal skepticism”. This can be clearly observed even in this STL blog).

Since the global financial crisis, Malaysia has had its fair share of setbacks that have actively contributed to the current economic malaise. (Agree with that, malaise = feeling of discomfort, illness, or uneasiness. It brings about frustration and bad voter sentiments which is anti-Establishment).

Felda Global Ventures Holdings, the world’s third largest palm oil producer, is currently embroiled in a graft and mismanagement scandal. FGV, majority-owned by FELDA, buys its crop from small rural planters who form Najib Razak’s rural base. While CEO Zakaria Arshad was suspended pending an internal probe, Chairman Isa Samad was transferred to the Land Transport Commission despite allegations that Arshad’s attempts to halt mismanagement at FGV were overruled by the board led by Samad. The hasty transfer was done to quell unrest at the company, restore confidence in a company which has seen its market capitalization drop by more than 60 percent since its initial public offering in June 2012, and calm jittery rural planters.

To further bolster support from rural areas, the prime minister launched the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL)… worth RM55 billion, funded by Chinese firms.

This foreign injection of funds is especially important in view of the shadow that 1MDB scandal has cast. The scandal has left Malaysians in doubt over the country’s resilience and prospects for foreign investment. (Very true. More than a “shadow”, it has cast “dark clouds” over Malaysia).

1MDB is reported to be under investigation for money laundering in at least six jurisdictions, including the United States, Switzerland, and Singapore. The U.S. Justice Department has filed civil suits alleging that some US$4.5 billion (approx. RM20 billion) has been stolen from the fund. Investigators have traced some US$700 million (RM2.6 billion) to Najib’s personal accounts, although the premier has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

A lot is at stake during the 14th General Elections, and urban Malaysians who have had to bear the brunt of the current administration’s mismanagement of resources are finding it hard to look beyond these economic scandals. (Yes, Najib cannot count much on the urban voters). However, rural constituencies are being wooed by 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M)’s investment in infrastructure, and continued agricultural subsidies. (The Opposition has been targeting the rural voters with their on-going roadshows, explaining the disastrous consequences of 1MDB “misappropriation of 1MDB funds and money laundering”, the RM117 million diamond necklace, etc).

… the elections seem to be Barisan Nasional’s to lose. Another five years at the helm, though, may not be sufficient to change Najib’s legacy of larger sovereign debt and greater inequality, despite a host of government policies seeking just the opposite. (That’s an under-statement. The rakyat have to bear entire lifetimes the approx RM50 billion 1MDB debt Najib had caused – 1MDB has been taken over by the Ministry of Finance / the Treasury. And the debts, too. Treasury money is the rakyat’s money. Damn).

      From Malaysia The Sun Daily.

The Sun Daily report said Ahmad Zahid, who is also home minister, said he had instructed the police to conduct investigations and take appropriate action, including prosecution, if there was wrongdoing by anyone.

Not clear if those words “if there was wrongdoing by anyone” were Ahmad Zahid’s. If so, he is a damn stupid idiot. Very clear disruption of a peaceful assembly (the forum had permission under the Act, said the Minister) was a wrongdoing.

““if there was wrongdoing by anyone” were Ahmad Zahid’s. If so, he is a damn stupid idiot. Very clear disruption of a peaceful assembly”

It is “not clear” either wtf you are frothing at the snout – Zahid obviously meant there was a fcuking commotion, and he is going to get to the bottom of it.

For all we know, the “disruption” could very easily have been set up by Kerala Keling Mugathir McKutty’s bunch of rednecks, it conveniently erupted as as the Kerala Keling running of sow “Top Bitch” got caught with a couple of questions he couldn’t answer honestly but want to get past, all the same.

Mugathir McKutty has that pattern of dealing with things he cannot handle, he did the same, as usual, and very recently with deliberately raising the issue of his destroying the judiciary so that he can get it over with because he knew this kind of things, among many others, would stick to him forever and make life a misery for him, like they should.

I won’t be at all surprise if the “disruption” wasn’t caused by the redneck swines in PPBM = Pig Pe nis Blowers of Mugathir, themselves. They must be pig fcuking stupid if they organise a major event of the year, and “outsiders” can firstly, come in with faces they cannot recognise from their extremely low membership.

  13. a says:

The claim that “the country’s multi-stream school system is gaining the Malay community’s recognition” is not correct.

“Speaking to Sin Chew Daily in an interview”, well, of course the BTN (?National Unity) fellow has to say those to please his ultimate boss and quote him, too.

VIOLENCE AT MAHATHIR FORUM: SIGN OF THINGS TO COME FOR MALAYSIAN ELECTION?

Excerpts from South China Morning Post (My comments in brackets) –

Opposition figures blame Prime Minister Najib Razak’s camp for chaotic scenes in which flares, chairs and slippers were hurled on stage during event to discuss the 1MDB scandal

Key allies of Malaysia’s Mahathir Mohamad and ruling party leaders on Tuesday were trading blame over an outbreak of violence at a forum featuring the ex-premier turned opposition chief, as observers warned the ugly scenes could be repeated manyfold ahead of a key election pitting the 92-year-old against Prime Minister Najib Razak.

Videos of the chaotic scenes at Sunday’s town hall meeting went viral on social media within hours.

Mahathir Mohamad narrowly missed being hit by flares, chairs, slippers and water bottles at the town hall meeting in Shah Alam on Sunday.

Mahathir was fielding questions from the 1,000-strong crowd at a hall in the town of Shah Alam when the chaos broke. Minders managed to whisk him out of the building moments after it became filled with pink smoke and as scuffles broke out.

The former premier’s spokesman told This Week in Asia there would be “an internal review of certain procedures with regards to Dr Mahathir’s movements in light of the incident”. But the veteran leader would “continue with his pre-planned public programmes,” said the spokesman.

In a Facebook video on Tuesday, Mahathir said he was unfazed by the incident. “I’m very frank, I will speak what I think is the truth [and] I don’t care about people’s reaction. The truth must be told,” he said.

Najib can’t afford to keep his civil servants – or lose them

The opposition Pakatan Harapan alliance lost no time in blaming Najib for the violence.

And on Tuesday, tourism minister Nazri Aziz told local reporters Mahathir “deserves it”. (What an irresponsible statement from a Minister known for having a “foot in is mouth”).

“If you do not want to behave like a statesman but behave like a gangster, that is what you get,” he was quoted as saying. (The person also often called a gangster is accusing a 92 years old former PM of 22 years a gangster, behaving like the mad Ang Tiunama Peng in here).

… political observers say the episode puts on display the tinderbox political atmosphere in the country ahead of a general election that is due by August 2018 but may be called in months. (This raises questions whether it’d be used as a excuse to declare a state of emergency in certain areas under the new National Security Act and postpone elections indefinitely. This must be condemned repeatedly and preempted).

  15. a says:

Continuation of excerpts from SCMP (my comments in brackets) –

The political contest (GE14) is expected to be one of the tightest in decades, with the once fractured opposition seen to be significantly strengthened as a result of Mahathir’s decision to come out of retirement to set up a political outfit rivalling the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition.

Mahathir’s Bersatu party, now part of the Pakatan Harapan coalition helmed by arch foes from his time as prime minister, is seen as fast gaining ground in winning over crucial support from rural Malays.

An election like none other, is it time for change in Malaysia?

He quit Barisan Nasional – which he helmed during his time as premier from 1981 to 2003 – citing a loss of confidence in Najib over his alleged involvement in the wide ranging graft scandal at the state fund 1MDB. Najib and 1MDB deny any wrongdoing.

Sunday’s forum dubbed “Nothing to Hide” was the latest public event organised by the freshly minted opposition coalition to discuss the graft scandal.

The event was to have included a session involving Najib and Mahathir debating allegations of corruption, civil rights abuses and mismanagement levelled against both of them.

Najib – who claims Mahathir is waging a personal vendetta against him – did not accept the invitation.

Ambiga Sreenevasan, one of the country’s leading pro-democracy campaigners, told This Week in Asia while the country had seen sporadic occurrences of political violence in recent years, “this is a new low, targeting a 92-year-old man with this level of violence”.

“Those in power clearly fear the ‘Mahathir effect’ in the next elections. I do foresee political violence being added into the mix of other ongoing dirty tactics in the next general election,” said Ambiga, who previously helmed the electoral watchdog Bersih. (There may, indeed, be a Dirty Tactics Department in UMNO which has unruly characters, likely to be from the red Ikan Bakar group. Incidents like this must be utterly condemned to avoid recurrences).

“The clearest sign of our disgust will be to vote political violence out by voting the perpetrators out,” she said.

Faisal Sham Abdol Hazis, a political scientist at the National University of Malaysia, also pinned blame on Najib’s Barisan Nasional.

“I don’t think the government has any intention to subdue violence. In fact, they are perceived to be using it to hold on to power,” said Faisal Syam.

The researcher said besides Sunday’s fracas, there had been “many other incidents where groups who are aligned to the ruling party acted aggressively towards pro democracy groups and leaders”.

“Since no serious action had been taken against the aggressors, such unruly behaviour now escalates into violence,” Faisal Sham said.

  16. a says:

Continuation of excerpts from South China Morning Post (my comments in brackets) –

Najib’s supporters meanwhile say it is egregious for the opposition to blame the premier for the violence with no evidence and with police investigations ongoing.

Many took issue with comments by Pakatan Harapan’s Azmin Ali (Selangor Menteri Besar), who had said just hours after the episode that “Najib is using gangsterism to shut Mahathir’s mouth”.

The police said apart from the three teenagers arrested, they had also summoned the forum’s organisers “as part of our investigation”. Amid the simmering tensions, some government ministers evaded the blame game, and instead urged calm.

(Unlike the foot-in-the mouth Nazri, the following Ministers talk in a responsible manner, befitting their positions as Ministers):

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is Najib’s deputy and the interior minister, said those behind the violence would be brought to justice. “As a country that practises democracy, such an incident should not have happened,” he said on Monday. (The Police need to field more personnel to such events in future – uniformed and in civilian clothes. We await more statements from the Police, so that the public may know the party affiliation of those arrested so that those parties must take action to tame those “dirty tricks” characters into avoiding physical assaults).

Khairy Jamaluddin, the influential youth and sports minister, wrote on Twitter: “What happened at [the forum] must be condemned and cannot be tolerated. Hope the police apprehend those responsible”. (This is the kind of statement that indicates that the Minister has potential to be PM. Though his “PM Dept Third Floor” role during his paw-in-law’s PMship was not acceptable).

  17. JKK says:

Does it make economic sense to use the ECRL to bypass Singapore? Ships have to be unloaded at Kuantan, loaded on to rail carriages, move from Kuantan to Klang using ECRL, unloaded from the rail carriages and finally loaded on to ships at Klang. Wouldn’t it be cheaper for the ships to carry the goods through Singapore without all the unloading and loading?
