MO1 is smart to use the fatty Chinese to do their dirty work in 1MDB. Well, lets see if Fat Jho Low will spill the beans in his trial. I don’t think he dares to because he knows what happened to Altantuya, c4 blown to pieces!

      Kurang Ajar Tulisan Cina Bukit

1MDB is a get-rich-quick scheme that had led the people to become victims. That is because the government is the guarantor. To let BN stay in power, we will end up a failed state.

Arul Kanda has repeatedly lied to the auditor-general, the public accounts committee and Malaysians in general, to cover up the 1MDB scandal to ensure that those behind the multi-billion dollar misappropriation in the company would be let off scot free.

Arul Kanda is fully aware that 1MDB’s investment ‘units’ previously held at the now defunct BSI Bank, Singapore are fraudulent, and more importantly are worth at best a tiny fraction of their purported US$2.318 billion in valuation. The fraud has been uncovered by the United States Department of Justice, as reported in the additional civil suit filed in June this year.

However, despite having access to all the material documents and information, Arul Kanda has continued the pretence that 1MDB had already redeemed some US$1.3 billion worth of the ‘units’. At one point Arul Kanda even told the 1MDB directors that he has “seen the bank statements” that 1MDB had already received the proceeds in “cash”.

Today we know that the entire redemption exercise was a Ponzi-like round-tripping exercise using part of the proceeds from a Deutsche Bank loan to pretend that it’s the receipt from the ‘units’ redemption exercise.

Malaysians can only shiver in trepidation at the thought that a RM145 billion-Khazanah Nasional, which is relatively healthy today, would be helmed by the same person who hammered the final nail in 1MDB’s coffin.

So now Mrs MO1 want to help Mat Rempit. First we must get to the root of what’s the cause for those Mat Rempit to exist. Those Kampong folks keep on breeding like rabbits hoping that the government will feed their children & educate them, when the government cannot do it. Mat Rempit exist. So Mrs MO1, U need to tell those Kampong folks not to gatal sangat, or use condom instead.

I have no problem you trying to get at Fat Mama.

But I object to the suggestion “to tell those Kampong folks not to gatal sangat”.

If they cannot gatal sangat at home, there’s no telling whose assol will kena.

Yes, I support the advice to use condom.

Blind faith in Islam unfortunately blinds an individual from accepting and promoting gender equality, religious freedom, equality of all human beings, democracy and justice. Nice words Fa, but blind faith in Islam will not do. Islam needs to open itself to scholarship, scrutiny and criticism if it is to be relevant in the world today, otherwise only ‘blind faith’, coercion and terrorism is required to sustain it.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 — Wanita Amanah (Awan) urged today Muslim scholars to quit quarrelling on what was permitted in the faith and to think of ways to resolve incest instead.

Awan head Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud highlighted news reports on a father who was hit with 600 charges of raping and sodomising his 15-year-old daughter over two years and a 19-year-old Sarawakian who was allegedly raped by her father, grandfather and two uncles since she was 13.

“With full humility, I beg Muslim scholars, please stop fighting among yourselves on matters that rouse conflict and on what is allowed in religion. Society gets confused and they lose their guiding light when you all choose to ‘war’ among yourselves.

“If the polemic on giving illegitimate children the ‘bin Abdullah’ patronym dies down, I beg these expert Muslim scholars once again to together think of ways to prevent and to resolve the problem of incest,” Dr Siti Mariah said in a statement.

MCA please bark at important issues like 1MDB and MO1 issue and not at DAP. No way you can beat DAP. Coming GE14, your party no more a 7/11 party. It will be 3/4 or 1/3 party.

Chinese are taught to be honest & truthful from young, it is all right to be poor but we must be poor with dignity but it seem MCA are only advocating lies & dishonesty. You dare not even utter one word on 1mdb, have you no shame at all?

MCA, What has happened to your dignity? Have you pawn away yr dignity? MCA are a disgrace & betrayer of Malaysian Chinese. Those in MCA would reap extremely bad karma on all their next generation, the universal law of cause & effect, that is how pathetic MCA are. Rakyat will sweep MCA till all their candidates loose deposits & till MCA close shop come GE14.

      • Anonymous says:

Maybe not lose deposits. Just lose some of the 7 Parliamentary seats they now have is good enough. Like retaining just 3-4 at Pru14.

ECRL was costed by the Chinese, financed by the Chinese and the benefits will flow back to the Chinese. But Malaysians will be paying for th next 50 years at least. RM 55 billion! Who did the costing? And how productive will the rail link be? However for what it is worth, I think the cost has been grossly overestimated but will be just in time for the coming elections. You cannot fool people anymore these days. And Perkasa may be racists but they are not ‘bodoh’.

    • a says:

Productive or not is not the consideration for the Chinese. To the Chinese company, it’s the profit – I agree it’s a huge one, with several percent (maybe up to 10%) costed in as commission and kickbacks.

And to the PRC bosses, it may be a strategy of getting their naval vessels (merchant and navy) away from any blockage in times of conflicts involving pro-US Singapore. They just unload their goods in Kuantan port rail-starting-point (ground breaking work has just started) to be picked up by their ships in the newly built Malacca or Port Dickson ports.

And to Najib, the consideration is the vites he hopes to get from voters who may be impressed by the sheer scale of the project in terms of Ringgits.

And who says the commission and kickbacks that may accrue are not attractive?

      • Anonymous says:

        1MDB billions not withstanding, eh?

Let’s compute the ECRL payment to China for this massive loan (with no payments for the first seven years). This means government starts to pay in the eighth year and it will take 13 years to make the full payment to clear the debt.

The amount needed to pay per day to clear the debt will be RM55,000,000,000 ÷ (13×12×30) = RM11.75 million. This amount doesn’t include interest.

From this calculation, the government has to pay more than RM11 million a day. Was there a feasibility study done to find out if the project is feasible and whether the government can afford to take the loan?
