Anything like US$4.5 billion that the US DoJ said they have identified as the total sum connected with the “misappropriation of 1MDB funds and money laundering” by the Kleptocrat Mr Cash Is King?

    That’s a whopping US$4.5 billion x RM4.50 = RM20.25 billion, man.

Now reaching only the third series of court action, totalling US$1.7 billion so far. Awaiting news for other series of court action by the DoJ for the balance of US$2.3 billion.

          Disloyalty / Lazy Rentseeker

You have an undeclared loyalty to mainland China, trying to glorify the long-gone “Imperial Majesties” just because of the sheer population numbers of Chinese there now, disregarding the fact that for 3,000 years China has been nothing great even when “imperial”, did not have colonies like the British, the French, the Germans etc had.

In fact, for a long period of time those Europeans were bullying China, there were in Chinese history such things as the “period of unequal treaties” and the “Opium War” when the British forced China to take opium brought from British India for goods taken out from China, and resulting in the British colonizing Hong Kong for 100 years, returned only in 1990.

Wake up, schizophrenic Red Bean old man “Ang Tiunama Peng”..

And don’t start inciting the mainland Chinese to wallop the British, Germans, French etc for the most infamous injustice of all – the regulation which – until 1928 – bars Chinese and dogs using parks in the concessions or areas the Western powers had secured for themselves in Shanghai from the Chinese.

“Ex-DAP Leaders Frown On Kit Siang’s RoS Remarks”

          BY TARRENCE TAN

          Former Teratai assemblyman Jenice Lee.
          Former Teratai assemblyman Jenice Lee.

KUALA LUMPUR: Rather than emotionally hitting out at the Registrar of Societies (RoS), DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang should have come up with a full explanation on the party’s central executive committee (CEC) election fiasco, say former DAP leaders.

“He has to justify and explain to the public how this had happened and also answer issues raised by sacked DAP members,” former Teratai assemblyman Jenice Lee said.

She said Lim could have proposed alternatives to the RoS’ orders, rather than dismissing its instructions as “most ridiculous”.

“Tell us your solution and give some proposals for the RoS to consider,” added Lee, who was sacked from DAP in 2013 for trying to contest as an independent in the 2013 general election.

Lee said in view of the latest RoS’ statement, her sacking could be declared “null and void”.

“This means that they don’t have the right to sack me because the CEC in that year was not valid,” she said.

Former DAP life member Shamsher Singh dismissed Lim’s remarks as a mere emotional outburst.

“It is not a constructive comment. If Lim feels that the RoS’ directive is ridiculous, then he should channel his grievances through the appropriate avenue, and sue the RoS. Go with the law,” he said.

As a leader of a so-called democratic party, he said Lim must ensure that party matters were dealt with transparency and integrity.

“You must ensure people can see that you have done everything by the book, which means you should hold a re-election to sort this matter out once and for all,” he added.”

And (because of not very ckever cheating by Dumb As sholes Party):

“RoS directs DAP to hold fresh CEC elections”

“KUALA LUMPUR: The Registrar of Societies (RoS) has no intention of deregistering DAP, but the party must hold fresh elections for its central executive committee (CEC), said director-general Datuk Mohammad Razin Abdullah (pic).

Mohammad Razin said in a statement Friday that RoS will be issuing a directive to the party to hold a re-election for the 20 CEC members.

The decision was taken following a recent meeting Mohamad Razin had with Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also Home Minister.

“He (Dr Ahmad Zahid) proposed that any action taken by RoS should be based on the Societies Act 1966 and DAP’s constitution.

“I want to stress that RoS recognises DAP as a valid party in the eyes of the law. We have no intention whatsoever to deregister DAP,” said Mohammad Razin.

Mohammad Razin said some DAP members had expressed their unhappiness over the re-election process of CEC which was held on Sept 29 2013.

He said based on the complaints, ROS believes that the re-election process of the CEC members and main office bearers was not legally carried out.

The DAP held an election in December 2012 involving 2,576 delegates from 865 branches. Due to complaints of irregularities in this election, a re-election was held in September 2013.

Mohammad Razin explained that the 2013 re-election process should have been carried out based on the 2012 list of delegates who were authorised to attend and vote.

He said it was important for DAP to hold fresh elections to ensure that CEC members are voted in legally.

“Only legal and authorised CEC members can vote for the main officer bearers,” he said.”

            BY TARRENCE TAN

            Former Teratai assemblyman Jenice Lee.
            Former Teratai assemblyman Jenice Lee.

Those above were reproduced in his comment of 2:28 pm. They certainly become The bloke “Ang Tounama Peng”s comment.

He could have deleted one line above when making it as his comment. He didn’t. Then denied it was his comment. He’s mad.

But it’s pointless to argue with a madman. Better just to re produce the following that describes him – a dog:

“No Dogs and Chinese Allowed: “Ang Tiunama Peng”

If not brought in as Cina Bukit “coolies” pendatang from South China by the bloody British colonialists in the late 19th century, “Ang Tiunama Peng”’s forefathers might have run away to this country from the humiliation in Shanghai by the Westerners there.

A particularly striking example of the demeaning, racist way that Chinese were treated in their own country. At a time when Europeans, and especially the British, dominated much of China, a sign at the entrance to the Huangpu Park in Shanghai announced: “No Dogs or Chinese Allowed.”

This is cited in numerous books, including the writings of China’s first republican president, Sun Yat-Sen. Harvard University historian John K. Fairbank refers in his 1986 study, The Great Chinese Revolution (p. 147) to the “sign at the Public Garden on the Shanghai bund, ‘No Dogs or Chinese Allowed’.”

“Dogs and Chinese Not Admitted” Signs in Shanghai

The officially-sanctioned wording of regulations in the municipal parks of foreign-administered Shanghai, the sign placed in Shanghai’s Huangpu Park that read: “Chinese and Dogs Not Admitted.”

Western imperialism in China. For over 60 years before June 1928 most Chinese certainly were barred from the parks administered by the foreign-controlled Shanghai Municipal Council of the International Settlement in Shanghai … the enforcement of the ban varied over time but for the first three decades of the 20th century it was rigidly administered.

Dogs, ball games, cycling and picking of the flowers were also forbidden, but the alleged juxtaposition of the bans on dogs and Chinese became notorious. The potency of “dog” as an insulting and dehumanizing epithet in China undoubtedly exacerbated the insult

            ‘No Dogs and Chinese allowed’

It was the kind of sign that humiliated Chinese during the semi-colonial era before 1949. Signs in foreign-run concession areas would sometimes say: “No Dogs and Chinese allowed.”

            Those days are long over.

But there are certain places that continue to be restricted for Chinese. And I happen to be smack dab in the middle of one. Our office is in what is called the Qijiayuan Diplomatic Compound. It no longer is just for diplomats. While there are some diplomatic missions here, any foreigner with some currency can rent, I believe. At the gates, People’s Armed Police guards stand smartly at attention. They often stop Chinese and ask for identity cards to see if they indeed have jobs here or are part of families residing here.

            http://blogs.mcclatchydc.com/china/2008/03/no-dogs-and-chi.html

Note: Putting the above out is not racist – not intended to insult the Chinese as a race. It is intended to make the racist, anti-Malay and anti-Islam bastard “Ang Tao Peng” in this blog to cease being so. “Ang Tiunama Peng” Chinese.

Najib – strong, popular but prickly?

Cracks are starting to appear in that smooth, unflappable exterior of Prime Minister Najib Razak, taking exception to a challenge from relative political lightweight.

ON THE surface, he comes across as unflappable; seemingly in control of his political destiny.

A man who believes he has weathered the worst of times and now can even thumb his nose at his opponents by placing his men in government-linked companies and institutions without any backlash.

Yes, on the surface, Prime Minister Najib Razak ‎looks secure.

But here’s the thing: why would someone who is unbeatable in his party and apparently in the strongest position he has been in 12 months be so thin-skinned when a junior opposition politician prods him about not enjoying the support of Umno and Barisan Nasional leaders?

No disrespect to Liew Chin Tong of DAP, but he does not have the gravitas or standing of Lim Kit Siang, Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Guan Eng or Mohamad Sabu. As such, his taunts do not carry the same venom.

Why would someone who has dismissed Dr Mahathir Mohamad as nothing more than a loudspeaker or U-turn specialist get so worked up about the former prime minister?

‎“He has no principles and will do anything – including allying with those he jailed, calling for foreign intervention in our sovereign democratic nation, sabotaging our economy and making 100 U-turns to manipulate people’s minds – just as a means to achieve his desired results.

“Anwar may fall for this, but I believe the nation will not. Because with only one parliamentary seat, the chairman of Pribumi cannot decide who becomes Prime Minister. It would be grossly undemocratic,” said Najib in a statement last night.‎

Why would someone supposedly in the ascendancy in the Malaysian political landscape react so easily to provocation by a veteran politician with a cupboard of skeletons?

‎Perhaps it’s because that under the surface, Najib is unsure about his own ability to deliver victory at GE14. Without a doubt, there is no one strong enough to take him on in Umno, but there remain a clutch of things outside his control.

First, a key assumption of a Umno-BN victory is that all the big names in the opposition will not be able to set their egos aside and work together. The result: a fractured opposition, quite different from the potent, united force Najib faced in 2013.

That assumption fails if Pakatan Harapan can agree on a slate of leaders and the future PM. With Mahathir endorsing Anwar as the future PM, a stumbling block for opposition unity could be removed.

Second, the rising cost of living is hurting. This fact is particularly true for the rural and urban poor, the traditional vote bank for BN.

The smart money says that Najib will have no choice but to dish out two tranches of cash to win over the restless but that’s easier said than done in the government’s revenue-challenged situation.

Third, of the so-called fixed deposit states of Johor, Sabah and Sarawak, only Sarawak looks secure for BN. The ruling coalition will retain control in Johor and Sabah but Umno insiders concede that it will be tough to repeat the 2013 performance in Sabah.

Finally, the 1MDB saga may be over in Malaysia but until Singapore, Switzerland and the United States end their investigation into the scandal, MO1 will have to continue looking over his shoulder.

Perhaps that too explains the prickly and tetchy attitude.

  3. a says:

Hopefully all other court actions on the assets belonging to the Kleptocrats by the US Dept of Justice (DoJ) are initiated before or by PRU14 – Series No. 4, 5, 6 ….

The Malay Mail put out a “news” article with the heading “What was the BNM forex scandal?” It was not news at all. It was an attempt to smear those alleged having responsibility over “the forex scandal” over 20 years ago, made by way of making it as “news”.

It was not written by a columnist or as an editorial. Looks like it was designed to attract readers’ attention to “acts” of members of the Opposition, alleged done over 20 years ago.

In short, it was an attempt to distract readers’ attention from the acts and omissions of the current leader(s) of the country on the humongous 1MDB scandal. Especially after the US Dept of Justice (DoJ) issued a lengthy Press Release dated 15 June 2017 explaining their action on the third series of court actions to recover a total of US1.7 billion (out of a total US$4.5 billion) assets in US identified as directly connected with the “misappropriation of 1MDB funds and money laundering”.

The Malay Mail is of course an UMNO/BN-owned or controlled newspaper. This attempt by the Malay Mail is in line with other actions made by the beleaguered UMNO/BN, that include blocking of the DoJ website carrying the Press Release.

    Markedly hideous.

  5. Anonymous says:

The Malay Mail so-called news report said (with my comments in brackets):

Over two decades after it first emerged, a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) is finally being established to investigate the Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) foreign exchange scandal.

(Doing it over 20 years after the episode and at a time when the fallout from the DoJ’s latest action to seize assets of the Kleptocrats in the US is peaking shows the motive for doing so is highly suspect. The motive is obviously to deflect the rakyat’s attention from MO1’s huge problems ans terribly sagging image).

The losses from BNM’s forex trading, alleged to be more than US$10 billion (RM25 billion then), was believed to have happened between 1987 and 1992 when the exchange rate had still been between RM2.3 and RM2.5 to the US dollar.

(Even if so, the amount is only slightly below the RM20.25 billion the Kleptocrat and gang walloped from 1MDB. And note the significant difference: while the “forex scandal” was aimed at stabilising the Ringgit under attack by currency speculators like the Zionist George Soros at that time, the “misappropriation of 1MDB funds and money-laundering – DoJ’s words) was not of any high but ulterior, and blatantly personal, motive).

  6. Anonymous says:

In an interview with New Straits Times in January this year, former BNM assistant governor Datuk Abdul Murad Khalid said the cause of such colossal losses was because there were no control and that “nobody knew what was happening”.

(The former Assistant Governor’s words must be repeated over and over and in bold lettering: “NOBODY KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING”. So, if there was “no control”, it was the Governor’s responsibility to institute and enforce whatever additional measures required to control. Hence it was fitting that the then BNM governor, the late Tan Sri Jaafar Hussein, resigned following the scandal and was blamed for it.

(But “after Murad’s revelations, Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said his father-in-law had been a scapegoat for “others”. Sure, the fella got a deputy Minister’s post from the Kleptocrat, it’s only logical that he also klepto-es against Tun Dr Mahathir who is now alleged to have been responsible, just because “the scandal took place during Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s administration.” . Maybe fedap because being called “Ang Tiunama”. If so, he can avoid that new name by ceasing to be racist, anti-Malay and anti-Islam, and start respecting and living by the Constitution of Malaysia fully.

And cease trying to dismember my country by saying “Malaysia is not my country, Sarawak is.” Damn subversive bugger, too.

Admirer of China, Commie Chinese Secret Agent Provocateur, schizophrenic Red Bean old man “Ang Tiunama Peng” –

China was regarded by the West as an international pariah until only 2-3 decades ago. It’s not a Super Power – the Chinese Ambassador to US said so on CNN about a year, now just having sea trial of their aircraft carrier, it’ll be years before they have an armada of that.

No colonies of any sort, now colonizing a rock jutting out of South China Sea, spread with voluminous sand pumped out of the sea. And when Donald Trump insulted them by taking Taiwan leader’s phone call, they started placing weapons on the island.

Schizophrenic old man “Ang Tiunama Peng” is damn racist, your racism has no place in Malaysia or in Sarawak where you claim to be, no need to be proud of economic giant China – with 1.2 billion population, they have not superceded US even economically with just about 300 million people.

Donald Trump has, even before becoming full-pledged President, insulted China, and he may aggressively pursue his election pledges of taking back so many “jobs” from China, change US-China trade relations drastically etc.

In any case, what can you get from being racist and quietly loyal to China, schizophrenic old man “Ang Tiunama Ang”? Lie, bluff, cheat, con the local Sarawakians? Come on lah, you be grateful for your family having been there earning a living there. Pssst, your past claim of your family having taken their wealth to Europe was a bluff, wasn’t it? Or they did, leaving you alone, eating fried kueteow day in, day out. Poor sod.

It’s constantly lying, cheating and conning blokes like this “Ang Tiunama Peng” bugger who bring down the image of the Chinese in this country.

Say those precise words instead of beating round some pondan’s bush?

Incidentally, colour of Chin Peng’s skin and Rashid Maidin are same.

Rashid Maidin and Chin Peng are descendants of the same bunch of aboriginals from southern China.

            And called “Malays”.

Why? Because that was the plan. Maybe mooted by Jho Taek. The Kleptocrats grabbed the opportunity. Or maybe the idea was conceived together.

Used 1MDB with RM1 mill government money as paid up capital, supposedly a sovereign wealth fund, used government guarantees to borrow billions from banks.

Then went to town with implementing their “misappropriation of 1MDB funds and money laundering”. Now DoJ USA have identified up to a total of US$4.5 billion walloped from 1MDB and laundered.

A total of US$1.7 billion now acted upon in 3 series of court actions for asset recovery for the return to 1MDB – the rakyat, as 1MDB now under Ministry of Finance.

Another US$2.8 billion is awaiting the next series of court actions. Hopefully all acted upon and the hearings commenced by Pru14. The voters would love to hear and read about them at that time.

How Najib’s strategic planning has backfired

As the first half of 2017 draws to a close, Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak is probably regretting the strategic overreach he has committed. At the moment, he and his wife Rosmah Mansor are reportedly holidaying with a large entourage in Bali and Perth, which is probably a half-yearly retreat to re-assess the political scene with his advisers.

This year began with Najib believing he was invincible and “unsinkable” (as The Diplomat magazine describes him), that the opposition is in shambles, and that arch-rivals Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Anwar Ibrahim would not be able to reconcile to form a formidable team against him. It looked like they would not pose an electoral threat to BN.

He also believed that the de facto “coalition” with Abdul Hadi Awang’s PAS was sufficient to deliver victories to Umno and BN through planted three-corner fights.

The 1MDB players – in their own words
Najib was confident that the economy would be in a better shape through the general expansion of exports as well as deals with China.

Everything was perfect for him. The plan was to dissolve Parliament in September or October.

    Plan to remove senior leaders

Najib was so confident that, according to some Umno sources, he planned to drop some menteris besar, chief ministers and senior Umno ministers, including up to seven menteris besar and chief ministers in the next general election.

It has long been rumoured that Perak MB Zambry Abdul Kadir, who assumed office after the Perak coup in 2009, will be moved to federal.

Negeri Sembilan MB Mohamad Hasan, in office since 2004, is a great survivor as he was rumoured to have been shown the door even as early as 2008. Pahang MB Adnan Yaakob, in office since 1999, told friends that he was not sure if he would be fielded again.

Kedah MB Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah is not an inspired leader, while Terengganu politics under MB Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman is in a mess, and Perlis MB Azlan Man is not Najib’s choice.

    Those considerations are not new.

But the signs of Najib’s strategic overreach and hubris manifested in the attempt to change Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman, Johor MB Mohamed Khaled Nordin and Malacca Chief Minister Idris Haron.

Musa Aman and his brother Anifah Aman resisted Najib’s move by attempting to force a Sabah state election. The tussle came to a head in February when Anifah was rumoured to have resigned as Foreign Minister and The Star published an exclusive report of the possibility of the separate poll.

Khaled Nordin’s selection as Johor MB in the 2013 general election was due more to the Sultan’s choice rather than being Najib’s ally. In the initial period after Muhyiddin Yassin was sacked from the cabinet at the height of Najib’s 1MDB “Donation-gate” in July 2015, Khaled was seen trying to distance himself from the prime minister. I was told that Khaled asked aides to look into the possibility of a separate state poll.

My friends in Umno are of the view that recent MACC activities in Johor and Malacca are related to the attempt to move Khaled and Idris to federal and replace them with a new set of leaders who would be more loyal to Najib.

Najib also attempted to sideline Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Umno Secretary-General Tengku Adnan Mansor and veteran Annuar Musa.

The peak of Najib’s strategic overreach was the appointment of his cousin and Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein as Special Functions Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in April. From Najib’s camp, the appointment was meant to clip Zahid’s wings and to prepare Hishammuddin for post-GE Umno party election.

    Najib’s great flaws

The fundamental flaw with the strategy is that Najib is the problem, not the solution. Najib’s popularity among the voters is at a historic low and unlikely to recover.

Time is not on Najib’s side. His momentum was stopped from May onwards. The mishandling of the Bandar Malaysia deal, the Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) fiasco and the United States’ Department of Justice (DOJ) suit on 1MDB further weakened his position.

For Bandar Malaysia, Najib thought he could replace Chinese investor China Railway Engineering Corporation (CREC) with another Chinese investor, Dalian Wanda Group Co Ltd, to fetch a much higher price without understanding the nuances of the Chinese political economy.

Wanda is a private enterprise which has to seek government approval for its foreign investment, while Malaysia’s snub of state-owned CREC is a slap in the face of the Chinese government.

China’s government is now taking a wait-and-see approach towards Najib’s government as a trust deficit creeps in, and Najib is seen as weaker than previously thought. Major deals are unlikely to take effect until after the next general election.

The FGV fiasco threatens not just elite cohesion, but may seriously dent Umno’s survival in the next general election. A 15 percent swing of Malay support across the board could result in Umno-BN losing up to 40 seats in the Peninsula alone, thus losing power.

The opposition is not strong yet, but grudgingly, the forces aligned to Mahathir and Anwar are trying to find a way to co-exist and reconcile. Once full realignment takes place, Pakatan Harapan has the possibility of being seen as the better-governing coalition.

Umno’s alliance with PAS is resisted by BN parties in Sabah and Sarawak, and even some Umno and PAS grassroots leaders are unhappy with the collaboration. Kelantan Umno leaders still think they can defeat the PAS state government, hence there shall be no deal with PAS at the state level.

The third and current DOJ civil suit brings national attention back to Najib and Rosmah. The US$27 million pink diamond necklace easily puts “the wife of MO1” ahead of Imelda Marcos’s excesses.

The revelations by The New York Times in March 2015 of 1MDB’s corrupt deals, The Wall Street Journal in July 2015 of the US$681 million “donation” into Najib’s personal account, and DOJ’s first civil suit in July 2016 have eroded Najib’s authority each time.

Time is running out for Najib

Najib was previously saved by the support of Umno warlords, particularly the division heads, and his grip over various institutions such as the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

But Najib’s strategic overreach in the first half of 2017 backfired and alienated Umno bigwigs who propped him up in the previous occasions. His reputation as “unsinkable” may now see the sword of Damocles over his head.

Najib may just be one or two mess-ups away from an internal revolt.

Whenever an Indian is subjected to racial or religious abuse or discrimination, the one thing we can be unfailingly assured of is that MIC will take on the role of apologist for the aggressor and criticise the victim.

The heroes of MIC, like treasurer-general Vell Paari, can be expected to surface only when they have something offensive to say about the opposition. Party president Dr S Subramaniam would again be struck dumb.

MIC’s pitiful and contemptible stand can be attributed to their awareness that they are in no position to condemn the Malays or Umno for the injustices Indians suffer.

So the better response is to bury their common heads in the mud and assume a Mahatma Gandhi posture, hence we have deputy education minister P Kamalanathan forgiving Malay thugs who assault him.

        • a says:

It’s “Ang Tiunama Peng”s delusion of grandeur claiming “I’ve only got one (brain). But it is a mighty brilliant one. ”

          Delusions of grandeur

The mad Red Bean old man “Ang Tunama Peng” always thinks he is the best in everything – qualification, knowledge, wealth, etc. He has delusions of grandeur –

In the past he frequently claimed about “my vast superiority”, claimed to have vast wealth, including “a huge colonial style Baba mansion” in Singapore. Claimed to have degrees from “four top US and UK universities”. Etc, etc.

Googling the words “delusion of grandeur” produces the following:

          – Delusions of grandeur are false beliefs held by an individual

          – Delusions of grandeur are associated with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), which is a mental health diagnosis

          – Grandiosity is a symptom of the manic episodes of Bipolar Disorder: elevated (heightened), expansive (grand, superior) or irritable mood. This elevated mood occurs when not depressed. In mania … increased activity or energy … needs only three hours sleep (at times he blogs at 3 am) instead of the usual seven

Other examples of delusion of grandeur exhibited by Red Bean old man Ang are his claims of:

          1. having, in addition to degrees from “four top US and UK universities, a host of professional qualifications and honorary awards

          2. being descended from the non-existent “clan of bankers and industrialists” of East China (but not Shanghai, China’s commercial centre)

          3. being vastly wealthy, having so “many possessions” that it’s difficult for him to scram from this country despite being repeatedly told to do so because he has admitted not respecting the Constitution.

So, schizophrenic Red Bean old man Ang also has “the narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), also a mental health diagnosis.”

If you have not visited the Psychiatrist and been prescribed medication, you should do so now, old man Ang. It’d be good for you and for everyone else you get into contact with.

Taking four years to tell an opposition political party to hold a re-election speaks volumes about the way government bureaucracy works.
