Pakatan Rakyat’s Moronic Way of Life?

Source: Apanama

If anyone had incurred God’s wrath, it is Kedah PAS Youth information chief Ahmad Tarmizi Sulaiman for saying that those in the downed MH17 lost their lives due to Malaysia Airlines’ sins, said MIC.

Party director of strategy S Vell Paari said Ahmad Tarmizi’s “divine logic” only shows that he is “intoxicated with stupidity and recklessness”.

He said that instead of showing mercy and compassion, as taught in Islam, Ahmad Tarmizi (left) “rubs salt into the gaping wounds” of those who lost their loved ones on the flight.

“It is he who should be struck down by lightning for uttering such distasteful things,” he said in a statement late last night.

Ahmad Tarmizi, in a press statement, said that MAS has been hit with a double tragedy because it incurred Allah’s wrath for serving alcohol on board and its female flight attendants do not adhere to Muslim dress code. – Malaysiakini

If the above report by Malaysiakini is accurate and their earlier report on what the Kedah Pas Youth information chief had said about the MH17 tragedy is not another blatant Malaysiakini lie, then this idiot in skullcap should must repent.

He certainly is not God to make sweeping judgements as to why such misfortune and tragedies have befallen our national airlines MAS. Even the atheist who don’t believe in the existence of God would not make such hurtful statements. I know a few of them and they are certainly more humane and far more civilised than this Pas idiot.

Trust me, Ahmad Tarmizi is not alone with such screwed up views and opinions at a time when the whole world is mourning the tragic lost of lives in MH17 and MH370.

There are many more narrow minded morons like Ahmad Tarmizi who take such tragedies as opportunities for them to preach about their brand of Islam and sell Pas as the most credible lot to rule this Muslim nation of Malaysia. – (Try venturing into the Facebook postings of Pas sympathisers and idiots who pretend to be born again Muslim)

Some even reprimand you for saying R.I.P. to the non-Muslim victims of this and other tragedies.

You preach at the highest possible pitch of your voice that Islam is the way of life but on the very next breath you promote hatred and religious bigotry.

I don’t normally agree with former MIC president Datuk Seri S.Samy Vellu’s son Vell Pari’s political/populist statements but his latest take on our latest religious bigot is spot on.

Silence-copy

Lets wait for the often righteous and holier than thou leaders of Pakatan Rakyat, the DAP in particular, to explain their stand on such morons among them and their moronic views about life.

Deaf, dumb or blind to such idiotic statement from your bedfellow?

Deaf, dumb or blind to such idiotic statement from your bedfellow?

p/s If the Malaysiakini report is another spin… May God have mercy on them.

THE UMNO-BN LAWLESSNESS! What law prohibits use of ‘Negara-Ku’? Ambiga flays Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR – There is no legal impediment to the use of “Negara-Ku” to name a group, Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan said today, as she flayed Putrajaya for declaring the newly formed citizen movement an illegal society.

The prominent civil rights lawyer and activist urged Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to state which provision under the law prohibits the use of the word, which is similar to “Negaraku”, Malaysia’s national anthem.

“We do not see any legal impediment to using the name and KDN should perhaps inform us under what provisions of the law they are making these allegations,” she said in a text message to the Malay Mail Online.

So the bigot wants to start throwing legalities at the government.

Further reinforcing the fact that lawyers such as herself are literally the MOST HATED people on earth!

I’m not sure what will be the American stance on an organization calling themselves THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER or the Canadians having an organization named OH CANADA….but I guess they don’t have as many traitors as we do here in Malaysia.

Bitch, lubricate your dried up cunt and live a little. There is more to life than trying to destroy the Raja2 Melayu Institution. Face it, you’re not a Malay so don’t seek to destroy something that you can’t have.

To put it in another context….Hypothetically speaking, if I am living in India during the times of the Maharajas, and being a Malay pendatang in India, I would respect the local customs and the Indian system of hierarchy. I would respect YOUR Maharaja. Specially if I was doing well in India like you are doing well here in Malaysia!
If there are changes necessary to be made, let the changes be made by the Indians and it is not my place to interfere. If I was REALLY unhappy and life was SO MISERABLE, I would leave!! Go back to Malaysia perhaps.
Because I’m a Malay, it is not in my culture to be so abrasive and rude to other cultures. Hence, my race, the Malays get trampled on ALL the time by the likes of you with your fancy law degrees.

You can throw the legal books at us as many times as you want. You might think you are appearing smart…but really, you are showing your true ARROGANT nature.

Here is an interesting side note: The 100,000s ( perhaps millions by now) of Indians who are now British citizens living the British life in the UK seems to adore the British Royalty. HAve no problems gushing and blushing at the prospect of getting an audience with THEIR QUEEN! Lining the streets just for a glimpse.

How about showing our King and Queen the same courtesy! I know the Malays are a meek race and the non malays, namely chinese and indians feel that we are a lot you can trample over…but you will be proven wrong when push comes to shove.

        Well said Dial 1-666.
I have to add that now most of the non-Malays had been brainwashed “racially” by dirty politicians to hate everything and every ‘ laws’ of the country as being biased towards them.

They are using “Divide and Rule” to disharmonized the races.

To get the chinese and indian votes, they are accusing the government of sidelining and biased against them. To get the malay votes, they are using ‘Hudud’ to attract them. Constituition or not, they are not bothered. King or no King, they are not bothered. Law or no law, everything they challenge, they are not bothered.Taking over the country is their No.1 priority. The people can go to hell. That’s what is happening in many Arab countries, called “Arab Springs”. Bombing and killing each other everyday now in the name of ‘democracy’. Springing to Hell.

That power to control that ‘No-Entry grey area’ is always with the registering/licensing depts having their own rules and regulations. Don’t go bullshitting around saying there’s no law and you can do what you like.

Every word of Ahmad Zahid’s statement is correct and valid:

“Even if it were to apply for registration with the Registrar of Societies (ROS), the name Negara-Ku is not suitable because it belongs to Malaysia.
Negara-Ku refers to the song ‘Negaraku’, recognised as the country’s national anthem under Section 2 of the National Anthem Act 1968.
It can cause confusion among the public, and in line with Section 7(3)(d)(i) and (iii) of the Societies Act 1966, it should not be registered,” he said on the Home Ministry’s official Facebook page.

Shit to Ambiga for saying there was no need for the movement to be registered as Negara-ku is a coalition of registered NGOs. Who is she to be saying so? Why the Hell has the authorities not arrested her, chucked her into the Jinjanh Police lock up and charged her for sedition?

In this blog alone there are many witnesses who will testify that what she does and say create ill feelings to the Constitution respecting and Malaysian loving citizens.

Additionally, Section 7(3)(d)(i) of the Act allows the ROS to refuse registration of any organisation whose name appears to mislead or deceive the public to the true character and purpose of a society.

Section 7(3)(d)(iii) allows for the same if the ROS finds the name to be “undesirable”.

Ahmad Zahid maintained any organisation that intends to conduct its activities legally in the country must be registered under the Societies Act 1966.

“The government would like to stress that an organisation that conducts its activities without being registered under the Societies Act 1966 is an illegal organisation,” he said.

I love reading this one and must share it with you on this auspicious day:

PKR loyalists go for the jugular on social media
    FMT Reporters | July 27, 2014

Latheefa Koya and Arfa’eza Aziz slug it out on social media over whether Khalid Ibrahim should go or remain in his post.

PKR central leadership council member Latheefa posted a series of stinging remarks about Khalid on Facebook, criticising his lack of pro-people policies even to the point of calling him “stingy” and saying “You all deserve to have Umno rule you.” (Real bitchy that woman, innit? I also feel like socking her this Raya morning!))

Press secretary to the Selangor Menteri Besar, Arfa’eza retaliated, “Ask that lawyer ‘datang bulan’ how much Selangor contributed to her NGO?” referring to Latheefa and the NGO, Lawyers for Liberty that she helped co-found and that Khalid had allocated funds for.

Latheefa also made references to Khalid’s out of court settlement with Bank Islam, suggesting the deal was shrouded in secrecy.

“When a person has a RM66 million headache, he can cut a deal in many ways. He could have been declared bankrupt, but he made his deal. He was told politely to leave – he fought back shamelessly,” Latheefa posted. (She’s implyng that UMNO has helped in the deal, that blardy loyar who has no proof whatsoever. Pssst, I don’t mind it if Khalid goes bungkus so long as he stays in the cracking-up party)

The strife over the proposed MB change has widened with PAS taking a hardline wanting Khalid to stay and finish his second term. (Well done PAS).

PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim on the other hand, is proposing his wife Dr Wan Azizah, as Khalid’s replacement after Hari Raya.

Anwar announced Wednesday that all parties within Pakatan Rakyat had agreed to a change in MB.

However days later PAS leaders – from spiritual adviser Nik Aziz Nik Mat to party president Hadi Awang and their ulama council and youth wing – countered that statement, saying they did not agree.

Only deputy president Mohamad Sabu is holding out, saying the matter will be decided on August 10, or sooner by the party’s central committee.

Haha Latheefa datang bulan and Mat Sabun main bulan. Who says cannot joke on Hari Raya. Where is the fake islam 1st DAP bastard? In Islamic history Muslims can go to war in the fasting month in defence of Islam that he makes fun of by the name he uses here, why not on Hari Raya. Tiada ma’af bagi nya.

    • Those who disrespect and try to demean the Malays get told the following says:

You people keep making fun of the Malays, mamaks, etc, what about you Chinese? What’s the equivalent to call you all also having mixed blood? Now, now, don’t say you people are pure Chinese.

Here is what Professor C.P. Fitzgerald says in his book, “A Short Cultural History of China” (600+ pages) – he lived in China for 5 years to research and gather material for that book:

The phrase “origin of the Chinese people” is in itself misleading.

      1. Chinese culture took root in the plains of Manchuria, a foreign country until after World War II

      2. The northern provinces “have always to some degree been mixed with peoples from the Mongolian steppes”. (Hence they are also referred to as the Mongoloid race).

      3. The southern and central provinces of China were, before the northerners moved southwards, “covered” by non-Chinese, the Miao, small in size and who the Chinese were contemptuous of.

      4. The south was occupied by “aboriginal tribes which once occupied the whole of south China”. The ancestors of most of the migrants to Malaya/ sia came from the south. The Professor said, “A large proportion of the population of the south calling itself ‘Chinese’ is in fact descended from one or other of the aboriginal races” – page 6. “The southern people were then treated (by the northerners) as barbarous” – pg 32. Even in modern times, in Yunnan and Kueichou, tribesmen number half the population.

The southerners comprise the following major groups:

      a. Fukienese (Hokkien), “a separate stock, mixed with immigrants from the north and the Yangtze Valley” and speaking “a peculiar dialect”.

      b. Cantonese, also speak a somewhat alien language, a form of old Chinese – the south was colonized by the northerners, colonization completed in the 7th Century – some 800 years after China was formed as a political entity by Chin Shih Huang Di.

      c. Hakkas, of Kuantung province, known as “guest families” – they speak a peculiar dialect, despised by the Cantonese and do not inter marry. These people were said to have come from the north, running away from frequent Mongol invasions that culminated in the conquest of China by Genghis Khan in the 13th Century.

Another Professor, Albert Kolb, also pointed out in his book, “East Asia”, 1971,

“Chinese culture cannot be thought of as originally Chinese because the Chinese themselves emerged gradually as a blend of many races and peoples”. (Pg 26).

Remember, the Professor said, “A large proportion of the population of the south (where your ancestors came from) calling itself ‘Chinese’ is in fact descended from one or other of the aboriginal races.” So, if any of you are referred to as descendants of the Miao (who are aborigines and non-Chinese), or other aborigines or hill tribes of south China, don’t blame me, I’m just a messenger of the news. You can’t also blame Professor Fitzgerald any more because he died some years ago.

    • Those who disrespect and try to demean the Malays get told the following says:

Practically all Chinese in Malaysia are descended from southern China. Many are law-abiding and Constitution-respecting. But a sizable number does not respect the Constitution and have been anti-Establishment all along. This is perhaps traceable to the fact that their ancestors in southern China have always been anti-Establishment, resentful of those other than their own kind.

They themselves were descended from “aboriginal tribes which once occupied the whole of south China” – Professor C.P Fitzgerald, History of China, pg 6. And those from the north who ran away from incessant Mongol incursions at the border with Mongolia, like the Hakkas.

The southerners resented being ruled by foreigners for stretches of up to hundreds of years. The Mongols under Genghis Khan conquered and ruled China for 80 years in the 13th Century. The Manchurians conquered China and Manchu Emperors ruled it from the 17th until the 20th Century. Hong Kong was ruled by the British and was returned to China only in 1990.

The Manchu invasion of China was helped by the treachery of one Chinese General. During the rebellion against the Ming Dynasty Emperor, a Chinese General, Li Tzu-cheng, had captured Peking and proclaimed himself Emperor in 1644. But Li took the concubine of another rebel General, Wu San-kuei, into his harem. Because of the girl, the embittered Wu refused to recognize the new Emperor Li, opened the gates of the Great Wall at Shan Hai Kuan and let the Manchu Army in, conquered it and the Manchus started ruling China – Professor C.P Fitzgerald, History of China, pg 542-3.

In this context, watch out the guy with a Rainbow in Penang who has been glorifying Sun Yat Sen of China (officiated the opening of a building named Sun Yat Sen) and trying to get other Chinese in this country to look to China. And note that the British first entered Perak due to the treachery of the Kapitan Cina in Larut who, together with 44 gangsters, signed a petition for the British in Penang to assist them recover tin mines lost to rival gangs that have been fighting endlessly under the Ghee Hin and the Hai San banners, and those led to the British sending troops under Capt Speedy etc, ending in the Pangkor Treaty of 1874 and the bloody British ruling Malaya as colonizers. How treacherous those Chinese were.

Here‘s Professor Fitzgerald’s account of the Manchus’ attitude towards the Chinese (he stayed in China for 5 years to study the language and dig the records in the Chinese archives):

“The north was loyal, and was trusted – up to a point. The south, embittered and rebellious, was … mistrusted, and oppressed … the ever hostile south. “ – pg 545.

Disloyalty, rebellions, treachery, then foreign wars and more rebellions (Chinese secret societies, thugs and gangsters originated from south China), suffering and misery in the 19th Century, many absconded China and found their way to the shores of Semenanjung Tanah Melayu.

Those who don’t respect and refuse to live by the Constitution of this country carry a hangover of the mental attitude of the southern Chinese. They need to be brought into mainstream Malaysiana, but those who persistently refuse to respect and live by the Constitution, including the sensitive Articles, need to be told to migrate elsewhere, like has been said even by well-known personalities in this country. Especially to the tsunami Chinese led by the DAP.

    • Those who disrespect and try to demean the Malays get told the following says:

The Myth of the Chinese Cultural Pre-eminence

Ancient Chinese records claim they are the “Middle Kingdom”, the only one civilized, others even in Europe they called “barbarians”. They aggrandized Chinese culture while at the same time denying the achievements of other cultures and races. But Chinese historical documents had often been re-written, making it difficult to ascertain the truths. These have been said by many Professors of History.

The burning of the books occurred not just over 2,000 years ago during Emperor Chin Shih Huang Di, but also in the 1960s during the so-called Cultural Revolution planned by the communist leader Mao Zedong to shore up his popularity after a series of setbacks starting from failed economic reforms called the Great Leap Forward that led to 30 million Chinese dead due to starvation, endless communal fighting for food and stipend, and the intra-factional fighting among the Revolutionary Red Guards.

Those thinking theirs is a higher culture and others have a lower one must read what History Professor Wang Gung-Wu (formerly of Universiti Malaya, now in Singapore) said in his essay “Early Ming Relations with S.E.Asia” pg. 36:

“ … All peoples who believed that they alone were civilized did so because they thought their neighbours less civilized than themselves. This view was often proved wrong by subsequent contact with other civilized peoples.”

Another Professor, Albert Kolb, also pointed out in his book, “East Asia”, 1971,
“For a long time, it (Chinese culture) was taken to be older, and possibly also richer in original features, than in fact it is”. (Pg 25).

“Chinese culture cannot be thought of as originally Chinese because the Chinese themselves emerged gradually as a blend of many races and peoples”. (Pg 26).

According to Professor Wolfram Eberhard, in his book “A History of China”, 1977, writings about ancient China were inventions of a later period, what were said to have been done by the Chinese rulers and the dates they were said to have been done appeared to be even later still. All these indicated that historical writings in China were meant to serve certain politico-ethical objectives.

These are the words Professor Eberhard himself wrote:

“Furthermore, we can now state with certainty that the historical data which were given in written documents for times down to 1,000 BC are false. They are the result of astronomical-astrological calculations, made by specialists of later times who pursued their own special political aims by doing these calculations”. (Pg 1).

  13. Even DAP thinks Pakatan doomed by MB crisis says:

Political analysts have agreed with the view expressed by both DAP and PAS on the dwindling prospects of Pakatan Rakyat surviving the Selangor Menteri Besar crisis, adding that the continued squabbles between the three-party opposition pact on the issue have also raised questions on their ability to govern the country.

PAS President Hadi Awang declared his support for the Khalid to remain as MB, saying Khalid has not betrayed the people’s trust. Hadi’s stand had got the backing of the party’s influential spiritual leader Nik Aziz.

  14. Even DAP thinks Pakatan doomed by MB crisis says:

Centre for Policy Initiative director Dr Lim Teck Ghee said the repercussions of this latest political mess are a fractured coalition and doomed PKR.

He said Anwar, as well as Khalid, must take responsibility for what is seen as the implosion of PKR and the larger Pakatan coalition.

Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (Ideas) chief executive Wan Saiful Wan Jan said Hadi is also equally guilty of damaging Pakatan. “The whole mess started with PKR and Hadi is rubbing salt into the wound. He is not helping the situation,” added Wan Saiful.

    • aiya says:

I don’t need to be a chief executive to tell you that IT is Anwar WHO must take FULL responsibility for what is seen as the implosion of PKR and the larger Pakatan coalition……ALL this PROBLEM is created by HIM just because he is TOO gila kuasa ……. he thought he is the GOD of all PR tokong and his words are his commands ….. Khalid and Hadi are the righteous man….. let the IDIOTIC goes crazy….

  15. Even DAP thinks Pakatan doomed by MB crisis says:

Monash University Malaysia’s Professor James Chin felt Anwar mismanaged, rather than overplayed his hand in the Selangor menteri besar issue.

The failure of PKR to fully involve its partners PAS and DAP in replacing the menteri besar from the beginning has caused the squabbles that are now taking place, he said.

“It will make Selangor voters more angry. If Khalid remains as menteri besar until the next general election, then Pakatan will probably lose the state,” he said.

Selangor voters already furious on Pakatan handling of issues in the state such as the water shortage, JAIS seizure of Bahasa Malaysia and Iban-language Bibles as well as the Kinrara Damansara Expressway, which was seen as going against Pakatan’s election manifesto to abolish tolled highways.

“He should withdraw such an online poll and apologise to all Penangites,” he said.

Who vote for the opposition? Who are these 51% of the voters?

    1. About 35% of these are Chinese who hate and abhor vehemently the UMNO and the government for the NEP and giving preferential treatment to the Bumiputera
    2. About 35% of this 51% are the wild eyes, hudud at all cost, let’s kill people in Syria, let’s get to Putrajaya and then find some way to stop the DAP from stopping us implement hudud and extreme Islamic policies PAS supporters
    3. About 15% are the Malays and Indian who believe that there should be more subsidies. free education, cancel all PTPL loan, reduce price of petrol, rice, sugar, don’t care about world prices of the commodity, share the wealth equally even if the economy will crumble. Those who are envious of the other Malays who have done better than them.
    4. About 10% are the PKR Malays and Indian supporters who lost out in UMNO and MIC party elections and want to get into local councils, DUN, parliament. Anything. The reformasi crowd, the Anwar is god gift to Malaysia, the persistent losers.
    5. About 5% are the liberal, love thy neighbor, free love, Kak Janda for PM, Marina Mahathir is never wrong, it is not their fault that they are LGBT, love poetry by the old poet, BERSIH this, BERSIH that, Malaysia is no more a democracy believers.

The only way that UMNO can swing some of the Chinese voters to BN is to give up on the NEP. But this is UMNO Raison d’être. Its reason for existence. It will never do so.

The people who are envious of people who are better than them will always be there. Come rain, come shine so pointless for UMNO to target this group.

Selangor MB crisis: PKR, DAP demand action over leaked WhatsApp chat

PETALING JAYA: PKR and DAP have urged coalition partners PAS to take action over a leaked WhatsApp conversation where a central committee member brought up a possible scenario if the party left Pakatan Rakyat.

In a statement on Tuesday, PKR strategic director Rafizi Ramli asked PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang whether the party would take action against its research director centre Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki over his alleged statement.

“What disciplinary action will PAS take on Dr Zuhdi for proposing that the party goes against the agreement they signed with Pakatan Rakyat and against those who voted for PAS/Pakatan?” Rafizi asked.

In the leaked conversation, PAS central committee member Dr Zuhdi brought up the possibility of the party working together with Umno while retaining Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as Selangor Mentri Besar.

The conversation is alleged to have taken place in a PAS central committee leaders’ WhatsApp messaging group.

He also spoke about returning power to Muslims in Selangor. (I like this one).

Rafizi, who is also Pandan MP, demanded to know how many more from the PAS central committee had racist and anti-democratic views. (Waaaaaaaaaa, very strong this one. Accuse PAS having “racist and anti-democratic views”).

Rafizi also said that while a difference in opinion was normal in any organisation, Dr Zuhdi’s statement was akin to something that Malay rights groups such as Perkasa and Isma would say.

“The racist and shallow statements by a PAS leader such as Dr Zuhdi has spoiled the perceptions of non-Muslims of the global message of Islam,” he said.

DAP national organising secretary Anthony Loke urged the PAS central leadership to distance themselves from Dr Zuhdi’s opinion and to take appropriate action to restore the confidence of Pakatan supporters for the party. (Waaaaaaaaaa, now saying Pakatan Rakyat supporters losing confidence in PAS?)

“Any leader that come up with such ideas has to be strongly condemned. I would like to remind Dr Zuhdi that the seats won by PAS in the general election was under the umbrella of Pakatan Rakyat,” he said adding that the statement did not reflect the party slogan of “PAS for all”.

  22. . says:

Anthony Loke said what was more disappointing was that the suggestion to oust DAP over issues related to churches and non-Muslims came from a director of a PAS operations research centre, which is meant to be the party’s think tank. Now he knows. What was talked about was not main main. Serious. Very serious.

“I never thought that a PAS leader could ‘imagine’ like Umno did in restoring Malay-Muslim political power through redrawing the constituencies (electoral constituency boundaries).” Is this fellow so bodoh to say that? DAP even declares to RoS only about 2,000 members. Tipu the CEC election by not informing so many members of the CEC election date to ensure only Lim Guan Eng’s people get voted into the CEC.

And good that now PAS research centre executive director Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad came to Zuhdi’s defence saying that what had been reported in the media were Zuhdi’s personal views and that PAS could not be held responsible for any statement or personal views of its members that sparked controversy.

I like this development. Very much. High time things develop along this line. Well done PAS. I’m sure UMNO ready to co-operate. Like it already has on solving the water problem on long-term basis. Hopefully Khalid will continue so that PKR and DAP won’t sabotage it, yet continue blaming Khalid.

    • . says:

The stupid Loke should know that UMNO does not re-draw electoral boundries. The Election Commission does. And the EC is independent.

Must reciprocate, respect the Malay rights under the Special Position of the Malays that has been extended to the Bumiputeras of Sabah and Sarawak on the formation of Malaysia. PAS Central committee urges party to reconsider ties with coalition

The tense relationship between PAS and PKR turns worse with several PAS central committee members urging the party leadership to discuss the possibility of pulling out from Pakatan Rakyat at its Aug 10 meeting.

The meeting was called to thrash out matters on the Selangor state leadership and on the mentri besar’s post.

PAS central committee member Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki posted on his Facebook page yesterday that several of his counterparts wanted to bring up the matter of PAS pulling out of Pakatan.

He made news after a screenshot of a WhatsApp group chat began circulating on July 28. In it, he outlined his idea of PAS quitting Pakatan and cooperating with Umno assemblymen to form a simple majority to retain Selangor.

“The motion for PAS to leave PR received strong support from no less than 10 members. A good number of them are very close to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim,” Dr Mohd Zuhdi claimed yesterday.

He claimed this group of members wanted the matter to be discussed before any talk was held on the Selangor MB crisis.

The group chat followed a suggestion by another senior PAS leader that they leave Pakatan, he said.

“Details of my ‘scenario analysis’ should PAS leave PR was then leaked out,” he said, adding that some members felt it was better for PAS to be independent to allow members to be free to criticise.

On Sunday, Dr Mohd Zuhdi, in his Hari Raya greeting to Anwar, expressed “sincere hope” that the Opposition Leader retire from politics as he had affected many people with his “personal agenda”.

In separate Facebook postings that day, he questioned Anwar’s authority as Opposition Leader, citing six announcements made by Anwar as examples of his “dictatorship”.

This included the Kajang Move and the naming of Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as a Selangor MB candidate.

PKR is pressing PAS to disclose its stand on central committee member Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki’s call to ditch its Pakatan Rakyat partners and for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to retire.

Dr Mohd Zuhdi, who is PAS’ research centre operations director, took to social media to criticise Anwar. He accused the Opposition Leader of being a dictator.

On his Facebook page, Dr Mohd Zuhdi said too many people had been dragged into Anwar’s personal agenda.

Dr Mohd Zuhdi’s remarks include one describing how they could flick away any protest by DAP on churches, raids, and the use of the word Allah. He also outlines redrawing constituencies to ensure poiltical power.

In that group chat, Dr Mohd Zuhdi apparently suggested that PAS teamed up with Unmo and another PKR assemblyman to control Selangor, while retaining Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as Mentri Besar.

Dr Mohd Zuhdi pointed out that PAS currently had 15 seats while Umno had 12 in the Selangor state assembly. He said another two seats from PKR – including that of Khalid – would give them a simple majority, in the 56-seat assembly.

PAS has said that it never agreed to having Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the new Selangor Mentri Besar.

Selangor PAS commissioner Iskandar Samad said the party has yet to achieve consensus on the matter, and maintained that he shares the same stand as PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

Hadi is reportedly in favour of Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim remain the state’s Mentri Besar until the end of the term.

“Selangor PAS never agreed to replace Khalid with Wan Azizah…we have yet to decide on this,” Iskandar told The Star Online via a text message.

The political drama in Selangor has dragged on for months, since the ‘Kajang move’ was engineered as part of a strategy to remove Khalid from the mentri besar post.

Dr Wan Azizah came into the picture after she won the Kajang by-election and was tipped to be next MB.

Khalid however remained steadfast, saying he would stay in the office at least until the end of the term to fullfill his promises to the people.

    Tony Pua said to PAS,

Apologise or leave Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

“Mohd Zuhdi’s stand to stay or quit PR is not the critical focus. That is his right as a PAS member. Many however, would be disappointed if PAS decides to separate from PKR and DAP.”

This, in the wake of the controversy surrounding a WhatsApp message from Mohd Zuhdi, in a PAS Central Committee members chat group, suggesting that the Islamist party join forces with Umno, to form a government in the state with a simple majority, two days ago.

Mohd Zuhdi also said that if DAP, the church and non-Muslims continued to harp on religious raids or the Allah issue, they (PAS) could then merely “flicker” them away, adding that these scenarios could return the Malay-Muslim political power in the state.

“This year’s end, just change the borders to return all the Malay-Muslim political power,” he shared in the chat group.

“So, we can charge at any non-Muslim voices or the churches, like before,” he added.
PAS members were also found to be discussing the possibility of exiting PR coalition in the group.

Sleeping beauty or not, Pak Lah at least had a vision for M’sia UNLIKE directionless Najib

Former prime minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was a better prime minister than his successor Najib Abdul Razak, says DAP’s Kluang MP Liew Chin Tong.

Liew said at very least, Abdullah had a clearer vision of the country’s future although he failed “miserably” to see it through, such as his attempts to reform the police force.

“At the least there was an agenda. There was a clear agenda on the police, which he failed to deliver, but at least we know what could be the benchmark.

“At least there is some discussion of what Malaysia could have been, but today we don’t hear that. Today we don’t even discuss what Malaysia could have been, what could be the future?” he said.

Liew was speaking at a forum in Kuala Lumpur today held in conjunction with the launch of the book Bangkit, the Malay edition of an earlier English language book, The Awakening, on Abdullah’s tenure as prime minister.

Abdullah served as prime minister from 2003 to 2009, and had formed a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on police reform in 2004.

PKR tuntut Hadi jawab dua perkara

I like these – DAP hotting up against PAS:

    DAP ADUN CHARLES SANTIAGO says

This is not the first time it has happened. And it certainly won’t be the last. We have, over regular intervals in the past, seen PAS blatantly going against consensus reached by Pakatan Rakyat.

Some of the thorny issues that remain are the formation of an Islamic state, the position of Islam and Malay supremacy. (Bloody seditious bloke – he says the position of Islam and Malay supremacy are thorny issues. This bugger should be arrested and charged uder the Sedition Act, etc).

The leaked WhatsApp group chat between PAS central committee members including Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki, who is also the operations director of the PAS research centre, therefore does not really come as a complete shock.

The conservative elements within PAS have already been openly discussing the contents of the group text messages, which suggests that electoral re-delineation later this year can be made to favour Malay and Muslim voters through a PAS-Umno pact in Selangor, looks into the possibility of PAS and Umno working together to keep Selangor MB Abdul Khalid Ibrahim as the Selangor menteri besar and swatting away “noises made by non-Muslims and the DAP”. (Good, good, good.)

  51. . says:

    DAP CHARLES SANTIAGO says

We need answers and we need PAS to come clean.

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang also seems to have thrown his support behind Umno, inadvertently, by resisting the removal of Khalid. And he made the announcement after his party agreed to replace the current menteri besar with PKR president Wan Azizah Wan Ismail at a special meeting attended by PKR, PAS and DAP leaders. (Didn’t PAS say they have not agreed to it – only Mat Sabun and a few others attended and did not have the mandate from the party to agree.)

AND NOW DAP SANTIAGO IS WHACKING ANWAR, TOO. He said

Opposition chief Anwar Ibrahim’s description of this potentially explosive issue as a “misunderstanding” that included “comments from the lower rungs that are not appropriate” is merely apple-polishing the issue.

The three opposition political parties, namely PKR, PAS and DAP have different ideologies. But we came together on a common platform, agreeing to work on a consensus. (Really? hahahahaha)

Just before the last election, we fought so hard for a clean electoral process. We marched with fellow Malaysians and Bersih leaders calling for free and fair elections. (Not free and fair elections. You buggers used all the dirty tricks you can find, cheat, 40,000 Banglas, elect blackout, etc, etc.)

The Petaling Jaya Utara MP noted that Dr Mohd Zuhdi’s clarification of his controversial statements in the PAS Central Committee’s WhatsApp group touched on whether PAS should quit Pakatan but was silent on his alleged racist and extremist remarks.

Pua said it was Dr Mohd Zuhdi’s right to make an analysis on whether PAS should remain in Pakatan although talk of the “divorce had caused a lot of disappointment” over the future of the opposition pact.

    • . says:

This is the second time that DAP has clashed with PAS over their partnership in Pakatan after the hudud issue earlier this year threatened their ties.

Sarawak DAP had even threatened to pull out of Pakatan if PAS went ahead with its plan to table its Private Members’ Bill on hudud in Kelantan.

In a separate development, DAP national organising secretary Anthony Loke’s calls for action against Dr Mohd Zuhdi made him the target of malicious tweets.

“I was alerted by several DAP members that tweets of a statement I never made were being circulated.

“My fictitious statement was even re-tweeted by Johor MB Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin,” the Seremban MP said.

Loke suspects the tweets began circulating owing to his statement against Dr Mohd Zuhdi a day earlier.

The tweets included a photograph of Loke with a quote attributed to him, reminding PAS that DAP did not need it (PAS) but that it (PAS) needed DAP to attract non-Muslim votes.

Aiyyo, how can PAS need DAP when DAP opposes Hudud until “Over my dead body”. And how can DAP “attract non-Muslim votes” when they always scare the non-Muslims about Hudud?

Following the meeting, a statement was issued stating that Pakatan has ‘accepted’ the proposal for Wan Azizah to take over as Selangor menteri besar, and the leaders will take the matter back to their respective parties for discussion. REPEAT: “the leaders will take the matter back to their respective parties for discussion.”

Hadi Awang soon after releases a statement saying that PAS’ position is for Khalid to stay as Menteri Besar.

PKR Saifuddin Nasution then releases a response saying that this should not be, because at the aforementioned meeting, a decision was already made in support of replacing Khalid with Wan Azizah, and that this was agreed to by the three parties. WHAT THE HECK THIS BLOKE? NO UNDERSTAND THOSE WORDS REPEATED ABOVE?

Anwar driving a rift within PAS?

Now, the two most respected leaders in PAS, Hadi and Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, have come out publicly in support of Khalid remaining as Menteri Besar.

Their voices are added to that of Iskandar Samad, the Selangor PAS commissioner, meaning all the most directly relevant PAS leaders speak with one voice on this issue.

The question is, what will happen if PKR persists in its attempted coup?

Will the PAS Anwaristas try to force the matter within PAS, and declare open war against Hadi and Nik Aziz? Or perhaps attempt a coup of their own within PAS?

If they do, then this opens one more in a series of debilitating rifts: within PKR, within Pakatan, and now within PAS.

PAS’ discipline is its core strength

Any observer of Malaysian politics will note that PAS is possibly the only party in Malaysia that is built on genuine institutional strength.

Whether we agree with all of its principles, there is no doubt that PAS is more grounded in those principles than in individual leaders that come and go.

  56. Anonymous says:

The same cannot be said of other parties in Pakatan, and nowhere is this more apparent than PKR’s intensely individual-centric feudal politics.

No one can deny the power of PAS’ party discipline. Any organiser of mass rallies in Malaysia knows that whether there is a massive turnout depends on whether the PAS leadership issues a directive for party members to show up or not.

This sense of discipline, unity of purpose, and fervent belief in maintaining the chain of command has always defined PAS.

PAS members take the long view in believing that no storm is so bad that it necessitates breaking discipline aboard the ship.

This means that while internal democracy and airing of views are never suppressed, the heart and soul of the party is faith in and adherence to its internal structures, processes and elected leaders. To lose that is to lose PAS, and every member understands this.

An open rebellion against this time-tested system could have unimaginable costs, including losing even more ground where Pakatan needs it most – the rural heartland of Malaysia.

  57. Anonymous says:

Guan Eng sulking like a spoilt child?

Soon after Hadi’s announcement, Lim Guan Eng essentially threatened the break-up of Pakatan Rakyat because of the Selangor Menteri Besar issue.

This can only mean that all this while, the single biggest decision maker in DAP has long prioritised DAP’s own power base over the overarching goal of maintaining a united front to overthrow BN.

I suppose with megaprojects like the Penang undersea tunnel to keep DAP in the money for a long time to come, they can afford to pander to their hardline backers, with no concern over the larger picture of Malaysia’s future.

It seems Lim is rather more practised at playing the spoilt child.

Both PKR and DAP would be complete fools to think that they can break BN’s hegemony by themselves. No one knows this better than they themselves.

Their actions then point to an increasingly simple conclusion: that they would rather fight like warlords over the scraps they currently control, than actually keep to earlier promises of putting their differences aside to concentrate on the changes we all know Malaysia so desperately needs.

Nothing but a sham marriage of convenience?

How shameful for so many of us who cried ‘No!’ when people accused Pakatan of being nothing but a sham marriage of convenience. When push came to shove, it looks like they were right and we were wrong.

Despite Anwar now scrambling to do damage control, and playing good cop to Guan Eng’s bad cop, his and PKR’s obsession with power, money, and water payouts fundamentally still eclipses any understanding that voters – especially those in the pivotal middle ground – are beginning to see Pakatan cohesion as a joke.

The way things are clearly going, there will be no doubt any more that a vote for Pakatan will come to mean a vote for instability. After all, who could trust a party that fought so pettily and cannot agree on the most fundamental questions of choosing chief executives?

  58. Anonymous says:

The first failed experiment in opposition unity was Barisan Alternatif, which lasted six years. It now control only 3 states. Six years after the formation of Pakatan, it seems history is repeating itself.

I strongly doubt Malaysians will ever place any faith again in this particular experiment, should it fall apart again, as it inevitably will – Anwar and PKR are on that course.

When that happens, any project to take Malaysia back from BN would then once again be set back by decades – all because the man who failed his bid to become Prime Minister of Malaysia insists that his wife becomes the Menteri Besar of Selangor.

    • Koyak says:

Tony Pua also said these, which I like, especially the last paragraph which says UMNO will get 30 seats in snap elections (he no mention PAS-UMNO team up, though) –

“If events do unfold as such, then there will be only losers for all Pakatan Rakyat component parties and we will be forced to incur significant losses, but no party will suffer more damage than PAS,” he said in a statement on Thursday.

Pua said that if both PKR and DAP were to suffer a 3% and 10% drop in Malay and non-Malay votes respectiveley, they would suffer a combined loss of 7 seats out the 30 contested, which in turn would leave the parties with 10 and 13 seats respectively.

“However, even in the most optimistic scenario where there is inconceivably no drop in Malay support for PAS, coupled with only a 15% drop in non-Malay support, the party will lose 7 of the 15 seats won in the last General Election.

“Should non-Malay votes drop 25% which is more than likely they will also lose Taman Templer, Hulu Kelang, Lembah Jaya, Seri Serdang and Paya Jaras, leaving them with only three seats in the state assembly,” he said.

The DAP leader added that for seats like Chempaka, Bangi and Meru a mere 5% decline in Malay voters and 30% decline in non-Malay voters, PAS would be completely wiped out in Selangor.

“As anyone can see from the above scenarios, it will be very unlikely for PR in the snap election to retain power in the state resulting in Umno being the biggest winner and returning with up to 30 seats in the state assembly,” the Petaling Utara MP said.

Can things be done differently if Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim is replaced with Wan Azizah? Izhar Moslim, Free Malaysia Today

A question raised by almost all Selangorians is what would Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail do differently to solve issues in the state if she comes to power?

I believe it is also on the minds of top Selangor politicians like DAP MP Ong Kian Ming, who has been noticeably silent on this matter.

Often Pakatan Rakyat (Pakatan) leaders talk about Menteri Besar (MB) Khalid Ibrahim mis-managing the water and Bible issues but what guarantees are there that governance will be different if a new MB is sworn in?

It also begins to prove that Pakatan is indeed fragile and I do not even want to consider what would happen if they were the ones managing the country.

Politicians, especially in the opposition camp, often get away with high-level statements but what we need are concrete and detailed solutions.

For instance, the federal government is committed to the 10-point solution in managing the polarities of the Bible issue.

Of course, it does not make everyone happy but this is the kind of detailed solutions on issues that is expected of a governing body.

Let it be clear that the 10-point solution was crafted by the Umno-led BN federal government. The people in Selangor know clearly that Umno has no control over what and how the state government is being run by seasoned politicians like Anwar Ibrahim and Khalid.

Do not drag Umno into the political mess that has been created in Selangor all because of one powerful political family.

Stephen Ng wrote an open letter to Khalid saying, “What you and the others should have done was make a strong stand once and for all”.

He needs to make it crystal clear that the “others” include Anwar Ibrahim, Abdul Hadi Awang and Lim Guan Eng.

Within a day or two after the Bibles were confiscated, there were three DAP state assemblymen who provided a solution in Selangor.

Yeo Bee Yin, Rajiv Rishyakaran and Lau Weng San proposed changes be made to the Selangor Non-Islamic Religions (Control of Propagation Among Muslims) Enactment 1988 at the next state assembly sitting.

It was reported that Anwar ticked off the three assemblymen and the proposal did not see the light of day.

Are you convinced Dr. Wan Azizah will make a stand and resolve these issues?

Or is she going to be absent most of the time?

She will be absent ALL the TIME ……

      • Lim Lynn says:

Of course she’s cover up Anwar Ibrahim ass that’s why she isn’t present with her President of PKR and coming soon MB Selangor. That will make PSM DAP PKR PAS laughing stock of whole Malaysia citizens.
