“Nik Aziz pun tarak faham Islam sekarang”

Source: BigDogDotCom

Tok Guru Nik Aziz pun tarak faham Islam sekarang. Ustaz Hj Hadi Awang pun dah tatau. Dia ikut saja”. That is what Opposition Leader and Ketua Umum PKR Anwar Ibrahim said to Sabah Chinese community a few days ago.

The full story is here.

Anwar, being his usual self, would say different things to different sets of people. As long as he can continue to mesmerize them at that moment of time to support him, even with the means via deception or back-stabbing his own political coalition partners.

The most controversial issue at play is the ‘Kalimah Allah’, especially in literature such as Malay bibles. PAS as coalition partners to PKR and DAP said it is unacceptable. It is a real slap in the Oppositions’ face, on top of other fundamental issues such as sale of alcohol near the mosque in a Malay centric suburban, prosetylisation of Muslims, PAS’s need to reinvigorate Hudud and the more recent ‘Unisex saloon’ and ‘Khalwat’, both in Kelantan and being imposed against the Chinese.

All of these are biting back hard at the Opposition and a clear demonstration that they cannot agree even on fundamental issues. And as the 13GE is very much round the corner, Anwar who is the only element that gels the highly fragmented PKR together and DAP and PKR are able to sit as partners in a coalition, had to resort to his usual lies, twisting of facts, manipulation of sentiments and playing with emotions.

More now than ever.

People like this shouldn’t be trusted for anything and everything. They are not just untrustworthy. They will stab you in the back whenever you turn the other way, for the pettiest short term gains. And they will sell even their own mothers for a whiff of political pleasure.

But I believe that Pok Nik Najis will never believe this video..because according to Nik Najis ‘fatwa’ video recording is ‘bukti besi’ and can’t be used as evidence that the sex actor Peliwat Negara has back-stabbed the PAS PIS PUS

Aiseh stu, Anwar Al Juburi (pangkat Mat Sabu beri) even sold his country to the Neocons, Jews and Zionists in US etc.

Bad-mouthed Malaysia as not democratic when his own party PKR has him as boss, his wife President, his daughter Vice President and his crony Azmin Ali as Deputy President. Lawyer and ex-Minister Zaid Ibrahim bolted out of PKR in disgust over the party election procedures.

Anwar even bad-mouthed his own race and religion. Spoke for defending the security of Zionist Israel, leaving the poor, endlessly Zionist-bullied Palestinians to PAS who have said they want nothing to do with Israel.

And it was Najib who went to Gaza, not anyone in the name of PAS. Even PAS former Deputy President who went to help interpret the conversations in Arabic was thrown out from the PAS Syura Council. Wat you talk, man.

BN-UMNO Gov’t, in power for 55 yrs, is rotten to the core, rotten & stinking inside out. Mahathir & Taib Manmud’s wealth is each rated at approx RM45 billion, Najib RM30 billion, Daim’s? Taib’s Uncle Yakub before that? And all the other cronies’ wealth? All the losses and mismanagement in 55 yrs? If you crunch the numbers, every single Malaysian has lost a fortune. (For the understanding of Sarawak’s interior natives: 1 billion is 1000 million). These are mafias, crooks & criminals by any standard. Now Jesse Jaskson Junior in US faces 3 yrs in jail for misuse of US$750,000 in election funds. In China people are shot for embezzling US$100,000. Your Malaysian Giant Criminals? You estimate the punishment to befit the crimes! I’d say 5,000 strokes of the rattan and 10,000 years in jail.

PAS is working very hard to reach out to the rural folk of all races. If this group wakes up in time for the GE13, then BN is finished.

BN leaders will do well to take note that threats and instant goodies will not work very much in this day and age. This is 2013 and BN has to move with the times as voters are getting to be more discerning.

The year of the Water Snake this time may prove to be BN’s year of doom as the snake swallows it whole. BN leaders may very well be soon riding out of the main gate of Putrajaya – Gangnam style.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 17 – Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has said that PAS will not hesitate to quit the pact should Islam and Malays lose out in coalition politics.

ROS can begin probe on DAP: Hishammuddin

PUTRAJAYA (Feb 16, 2013): The Registrar of Societies (ROS) can begin investigations into DAP following the party’s failure to submit its report to the body yesterday, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said today.

        Dakwaan penglibatan YAB Perdana Menteri.

        “It’s all fairy tales”

It looks like Prime Minister Najib Razak and his Umno-BN coalition have shot themselves in the foot again. Australia is now officially seeking the immediate release of its Senator Nick Xenophon, who is now being detained by the Malaysian government for allegedly being a “security risk”.

Xenophon was held at the budget carrier terminal upon arrival this morning and is expected to be deported later today by the Malaysian Immigration Department, which until now has not given any official statement.

“Australia’s concerns have been raised with Malaysia’s Foreign Minister and the Minister for Home Affairs and the Malaysian High Commissioner to Australia. Their support is requested in securing Senator Xenophon’s swift release from custody,” Australia’s Foreign Minister Bob Carr said in a statement today.
“Senator Xenophon’s detention is a surprising and disappointing act from a country with which Australia routinely maintains strong diplomatic relations,” he added.

Carr also said that Australian High Commissioner to Kuala Lumpur Miles Kupa had contacted Xenophon and demanded an explanation for the detention.

Cancelled their flights: Another international scandal

Xenophon came to Malaysia to meet Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim. He is also due to meet Nazri Aziz, the Umno Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department as well as Election Commission officials to discuss the country’s controversial electoral system.

Apart from Xenophon, other Australian senators and MPs were due to arrive on Sunday to observe Malaysia’s electoral system, but have now cancelled their flights.

“According to Immigration, he’s a security risk and they are just acting on orders from above,” Ibrahim Yaacob, Anwar’s chief of staff, had told the press.

In the past 2 weeks, Najib has gotten into trouble over several international incidents as his Umno-BN coalition braces for a tough general election where they could lose the federal government to Anwar and his Pakatan Rakyat opposition front.

Just a day ago, Najib was forced to issue a denial he had personally intervened to stop renowned Thai pathologist Dr Pornthip from coming to Kuala Lumpur to perform a second autopsy on security guard C Sugumar, who had died in suspicious circumstances while in police custody.

Najib and his BN coalition also attracted massive negative publicity over a Chinese New Year gig where Korean mega-star Psy was invited to perform his smash-hit Oppa Gangnam-style. However, despite a purported US$2 million fee, the Korean star declined to come onstage and endorse the BN team, only performing after they had returned to their VIP tents. To cover up the embarrassment, Umno-BN spread word that Najib had to ‘leave early’ because there was a death threat against the singer.

“These are all signs that Najib is feeling more and more insecure. He is turning more hardline and authoritarian as the election nears. But to deport a senator from a friendly country like Australia is to tell the whole world that the BN has something to hide. In the past, observers – whether pro-BN or pro-Opposition – could come and give their views after fact-finding visits. So why now?” Sivarasa Rasiah, the PKR MP for Subang, told Malaysia Chronicle.

        Fear of fair elections?

Meanwhile, news of Xenophon’s detention has been picked up by the press in Australia, which is home to a large Malaysian student population that has been active in clamoring for greater human rights and democracy back home.

“I am effectively a prisoner here,” Xenophon, who managed to make a phone call home, was quoted as telling Australian newspaper The Sunday Mail.

“I’m being held in an area with all these holding cells which are full of women. They have basically told me I am an enemy of the state. They are trying to get me on the next plane out of here and back home. I was even meeting members of the government, I mean, the whole situation is ridiculous, we are meant to be the closest of friends with Malaysia. We are meant to be having a people swap deal on asylum seekers but so far it looks like the only person being swapped is me.”

I think he was paraphrasing what he claimed was said by BN. So maybe the story was played up a bit. I think that we should acknowledge what is real & what isn’t. By just jumping on the bandwagon of half truths, we are no different from the Komtar folks.

That said, it doesn’t take away the fact that Anwar is a person who plays to the gallery. Sabahans may remember how he maneuvered the fall of the PBS which was led by the real deal Huguan Siou, Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan.

Also, who could forget the person he was when e led ABIM in the 70s. If you read Dr M’s book, his account of Anwar’s treachery was mind boggling. There seems to be nothing he would not do to achieve his self serving goals.

It is telling that Azizah & Nurul treats Azmin like a leper. Dysfunctional, the whole lot of them…

    • serialp0d says:

But the whole clownish act was that the 2 fellas actually made a 360 round-around trip after being told off by their own “Majlis Syura”. So, whoever it is that Anwar is accusing of saying those things against the 2 fellas may be right after all … that’s the irony of it all

What ‘1Malaysia’ is Najib boasting? His wife, the infamous ‘First Lady’ Rosmah Mansor, graced a fundraising event hosted by Ibrahim Ali of Perkasa exactly a year ago, over which Najib was conspicuous by his elegant silence. I still remember someone describing it as, “as if Michelle Obama is endorsing the Ku Klux Klan”. What a fitting analogy!

Najib’s being beholden to the ultra-conservative forces within Umno can be clearly seen from his failure to chastise Ibrahim Ali over the latter’s recent threat to burn the Bible. While Mahathir rushed to the defence of the Perkasa head, Najib just played dumb as usual. As a believer in free speech, I disagree with those who call for Ibrahim Ali’s arrest in the wake of his remarks, incendiary though they may have been.

Then again why would he want to close that “CASINO”? The Malaysian Stock Exchange, as we know it, is the backbone of all Developed countries to attract Investments in their country to upgrade or increase company’s infrastructure and productivity through share capitals.

When a company needs a huge capital, it is only possible to be LISTED and raise the capitals needed through issuing of shares. Seriously, if the Malaysian Stock Exchange is closed, my prediction would be that almost 3/4 of employees will loose their jobs and Malaysia would be just like those darkest parts of Africa living in poverty as there will be NO Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) or MNCs in Malaysia.

Najib perlu minta maaf & bertanggungjawab

Lolz, leaders within the same alliance backstabbing against each other. So in the scenario where PR won the GE, do they then decided who is the PM? Who would take up ministerial roles? Thats the whole goddamn reason why PR never have any shadow government at all even when it was promised by Anwar himself after 08. You have the list, you have the candidates, but there is no action why? Cause nobody agrees with those list of candidates. So will it take a year? 2 years? Or maybe we have to wait till the next GE again before PR even manage to have a solid candidate for PM instead of back and forth jousting matches.

    • Anonymous says:

“in the scenario where PR won the GE” – God forbid such a scenario. But, acknowledging that God has the ultimate power, there is a possibility – however remote – of that happening, due, for example, to wrong counting. Remember

a). there are 13+ million votes, not 1,800 like at the DAP CEC vote counting
b). computer glitches – many hackers have been working over time
c). the EC-designated observers sleeping on the job – Tun Dol’s sleepiness does catch on at times all over the places
      d. triad members, thugs and gangsters and Lim Guan Eng’s appointed “controllers of peace and order” exceed the number of our security forces at the vote counting.

In that event, the moment the EC Chairman announces a PR win at GE13, the skies will be thrown asunder, the gates of Heaven will open up for Nik Aziz, Hadi, Mat Sabu and the likes of them, and Anwar will be driving like Speedy Gonzales to the Istana Negara, asking for an appointment letter as PM, right away. Don’t want to wait for katak lompat this time. It was a bitter lesson he learnt from the failed katak lompat coup d’etat bid of 16 Spetember 2008. As the reverse can happen to him this time.

But Anwar will be shocked to find Hadi already at the Istana Negara. Fled there like lightning for, after all, the Gates of Heaven have been opened by Nik Aziz, as UMNO – he would have smilingly and naughtily declared – has gone into Neraka.

Anwar and Hadi then argued in front of the Private Secretary to the YDP Agong. Each claiming they could not wait to discuss with the PR component parties. Coz each one knew there will be no agreement. Like on Hudud, they will only “agree to disagree” as to who to be PM among them.

YDP Agong will then say through his Private Secretary, “Sorry boys, since you fellows can’t agree who to be PM, I’ll let UMNO/BN continue to rule.”

      • Aj says:

Sorry to say that ‘in the scenario where PR won the GE they don’t need to rush to Istana Negara, the Aljuburi will declare himself Mr President so who is YDP Agong to him. When confronted with a split second decision, policemen are branded killers when opening fire. And yet when crime goes up, guess who gets flak?

When helos are procured, the need to replace the aging Sikorsky Nuris are raised. When the submarines were commissioned, same story rehashed. My cousin is a crew member of one of the subs. He spent 2 years in France for submariner’s training. He’s gagged by OSA but he’s adamant that there are many reasons that the sub not fully operational but politicians are now experts in all things & they decided to insinuate lots of things. Let me ask you this; would I trust the words of a crew or that of a politician?

Anyway, if Malaysia decided to buy a nuclear powered class sub from US, it would cost approximately 3-5 billion each. They’d be brand new & not reconditioned or 2nd hand. But then again, we’d have Wong Tack threatening to burn the munitions depot at Lumut Navy base no?

If a submarine or two gives the nation an edge in warfare & national security, why shouldn’t they be procured?

If we have to talk about wastage, then subsidizing fuel, rice etc to those who fabricate lies with the intention to incite is a waste too no?

While we’re at it, we should scrap 90% of the firearms in the country no? Since most are never used anyway except when the police decides to murder someone by gunning them down right?

I kept pointing out a hundred times the BN-UMNO Gov’t, in power for 55 yrs, is rotten to the core, rotten & stinking inside out. Mahathir & Taib Mahmud’s wealth is each rated at approx RM45 billion, Najib RM30 billion, Daim’s?

On your second comment and questions,

        1. The authorities have already said they have been aware of such movements. They have cordoned the area. The Police in the first ring, the Military in a second ring. The Naval boats are in the waters off the area.

        2. These are despite the Sabah Coast being a very long one and nobody can be at all places at the same time. Intelligence. They do have intelligence . Both the Police, the Army and the Navy.

        3. The situation is under control. News from Manila show that the Filipino government has also been advising those Filipino citizens to return to their homes.

        4. This is far from being “an invasion”. There is no need to panic. It’s not like the time of Indonesian “Confrontation” against Malaysia – that time Sukarno had bad intentions. He wanted to get an external event to distract his people from being fed up with him and toppling him because he had ravaged the Indonesian economy, his people could not even have rice to eat, many just eating “jagong”.

      1. The subject(s) is not related to blog post. But to humour you, I comment a bit.

      2. The Australian bloke may be more harmful than the Suluks. He, as a Senator, has not been respecting the laws of this country, etiquette and protocol in international relations – why the hell is a senator like that?

      3. He took part in Bersih 3.0 Rally, coming in on a social visit pass. You don’t engage in political activities when on a social visit to a friendly country. Of course, he may be descended from ex-convicts that Australia is made of, according to history. But, for goodness sake, he is a Senator, man – independent or whatever, he should have used his head.

      4. Very clear that you do not interfere in the internal affairs of another country. That’s kurang ajar, or biadap, like Tunku Aziz said of Lim Guan Eng. Last time the authorities let him go when he scooted off after the Bersih Rally. This time he came again, clearly with similar intentions as before. And, mind you, the authorities are not even planning to charge him in court, have him imprisoned and the like. Only send him back as a persona non grata – maanusia tak laku di negara ini, di halau keluar, berambus. Ada ngarti?

      5. The Suluks’ intentions of entering Sabah are not clear. The Police are not even saying that any of them (est. 100) are armed. Only speculations made by people wanting to sensationalize the news. The Government does not want heightened feelings between Malaysia and the Philippines which have good relations and which have succeeded in getting a peaceful resolution to the Filipino Muslims wanting autonomy in Mindanao etc recently. Didn’t you read Najib helping out on those efforts?

Persuading them to return to their homes is the best action being taken. You want to instigate friction between the authorities and them? Don’t la. No good, man. Not in the interest of friendly relations between good neighbours. Enough bad relations already among us, caused by the Pakatan Rakyat.

Nice one mate. Your comment seems somewhat familiar. Oh I know! You copy & pasted TMI’s editor’s op-ed piece right?

In answer to your question, the sovereignty of a country should not be questioned when it comes to immigration issues. A country has absolute rights to deny or allow entry to anyone with no obligations to explain the rationale behind their actions.

As for why are the Filipinos treated differently, there are a few reasons. There are conflicting reports over the numbers. They’re said to number between 100 to 1000. They’re even said to carry firearms including assault rifles & grenade launchers.

Should the security forces engage them in a confrontational & aggressive manner, a firefight could take place. Non combatant Filipinos & locals could end up as collateral damage. As such, isn’t it prudent that the matter be resolved with diplomacy instead of forcefully deporting them?

    • A says:

Those Filipinos from Sulu etc come because Pakatan fellows make endless noise such that the government takes harsh measures on their relatives and friends already in Sabah many of whom have been shooed out.

These people have been in and out of the area since time immemorial, the area between Sabah, Sulu and Celebes (Makassar) has been said to be the origin of the Malay speaking peoples known as the Rumpun Melayu, since over 6,000 years ago. Some of those coming and going stayed, to earn a living on land.

The Pakatan Rakyat people complained hell of a lot. Until they got shooed and forced out. The 100 or so came to show they have some claims to the area though the current political realities do not recognize the points they want to make. Maybe the next time they come in such a group, they’d be looking for the Pakatan Rakyat people, wanting to have a chat with them.

  22. The reason why I am contributing to this blog is to dispel all doubts about facts, truths and rationality in the use of the word Allah, a non-issue really. It becomes an issue when it is being politicised which is the case in Malaysia. This article is not intended to be polemical.

First, allow me to make a few introductory remarks.

    (1) I do not pretend to speak for every Christian, less still for everyone. I speak for many people who do not profess the Islamic faith in Malaysia and perhaps for a number of Muslims in and out of Malaysia.

    (2) I do not claim that Christians must use the word Allah. It is up to everyone in accordance to his or her conviction.

    (3) I only claim for every human being the right and freedom to use any word found in any language. Upholding this principle, I personally claim that I have the right to use the word Allah.

In this present Malaysian context, it must be said explicitly: it is not that Christians want to use the word to confuse Muslims; rather, it is taking a stand that no one has the power to take away the God-given right to a human person the freedom to use whatever word he or she wants to use provided the rights of others are not being violated.

If certain Muslims in Malaysia feel that their rights are being violated, they have only to look at history to know that for centuries, Christians in Islamic countries, especially in the Middle Eastern countries where Islam was born, have been using the word Allah without stirring up any storm in the tea cup.

To say that using the word Allah may confuse the Muslims in Malaysia is tantamount to casting aspersion on them because it is accusing them of having a faith so weak that, unlike their Muslim brothers and sisters in other countries, they are easily shaken because people of other faiths use the word Allah for God. Sikhs, Bahai’s, Maltese, Mizrahi Jews, etc., use Allah. More of this later.

In the same setting, I would like to emphasise that Malaysia is a constitutional or parliamentary democracy and not a theocratic state, in concrete, an Islamic state; say what you want, the fact remains that at the inception of the Federal Constitution, our founding fathers did not want Malaysia to be an Islamic state.

Our founding father Tunku Abdul Rahman’s statement on the matter is the best testimony.

The Sultan of Selangor and the Sultan of Pahang have banned non-Muslims from using the term Allah. Our Federal Constitution does not give any sultan the power to dictate to people of other faiths what religious rules that they must follow.

People of faiths other than those of Islam have their own religious heads who govern and tell them what is right or wrong in accordance with their religious beliefs.

    Facts and reasoning

My claim of human right for everyone on the use of any word from any language, in this case the word Allah, is based on the following facts and reasoning.

Allah is a pre-Islamic word used by Arabs, e.g., the Arabs in Mecca, before Prophet Muhammad was born.

For these Arabs, the word, Allah, means “creator deity”. It is therefore not an Islamic creation and Muslims have no exclusive claim to it although they may and have injected into it specific nuances.

If the Holy Prophet Muhammad wanted Muslims to use a specific word with special connotations that others did not have, he would have created a new word and not use a word already used by the Arabs and Arab Christians before his time.

Besides, Christians, Mizrahi Jews, Bahai’s, Maltese, Sikhs, and others use the same word. The Skhs have publicly proclaimed that their Holy Scriptures have used the word Allah 37 times. The Sikhs ask the rhetorical question: Are they also forbidden to read and pray their Scriptures?

This word Allah and its cognates are found in many languages. Just to give a few examples:

in Urdu/Persian/Dari/Uyshur, it is the same word, Allah; in Bengali, and in Bosnian languages, it is also Allah; in Czech and Slovak languages, it is Allach, etc.,

In the Holy Quran, it is written clearly that Jews, Christians, Sabeans worship Allah. Allow me to quote only one surah – surah 2:62: “Those who believe in the Quaran and those who follow the Jewish Scriptures and the Christians and the Sabeans… who so believe in God (Allah) and the last day…

In our own country, in Sabah and Sarawak, our Bumiputera, e.g., Kadazans, Ibans, Bidahyus, Melanaus, etc., have been using the word Allah in their languages for umpteen years.

No country in the world, including the Arab countries in the Middle East and, closer to Malaysia, Indonesia, forbids non-Muslims from using the word Allah. Christians in these countries have been using it for centuries. At present, there are about 10 to 12 million Arab Christians using the word Allah for God.

If some Malaysian Muslims claim that non-Muslims cannot use the word because the Malaysian Muslims’ understanding of Allah is unique to them, then logically they are saying that the Arab Muslims also have a different understanding of Allah from their understanding because the Arab Muslims use the word Allah for God and allow Christians to use the same word.

Consequently, we would be a laughing stock of enlightened people in the world if we were to continue to make criminals of people of faiths other than those of Islam because they use the word Allah.

I have in my possession a Dutch Gospel according to St Matthew or in Malay Language, Injil Matius, in the book “Nuevve Testament.” It was translated into the Malay language in 1629. In it, the word for God is translated as Allah. There are other Christian literatures translated into the Malay language after 1629 using Allah for God.

    There is only one God

Permit me to quote wholesale Malaysiakini on what lawyer Annou Xavier said:

“The May 4, 2009 order by the court, according to Annou, stated the applicant (Jilil Ireland Lawrence Bill, a Melanau Christian) be given a declaration that it is within her legitimate expectation to use the word Allah and have ownership, to obtain, use and import such materials including printing items with the word for her own practice.”

He further brought MAIS’s attention to a circular, dated April 11, 2011 and endorsed by Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak himself, which stated that the government has agreed that non-Muslims may import, buy, print, distribute, read and use the bible in any language, including Bahasa Malaysia.

Further to this, although the issue is still pending on the appeal to the court of appeal, KL High Court has ruled on Dec 31 2009 that the ban on the use of the word “Allah” by people of faiths other than those of Islam is illegal.

There is only one God, call Him/Her/It whatever you want, Brahman, God, Almighty, Absolute, Allah, Shang Ti or Tian or Tian Zhu. The One Creator does not change just because we humans change the word or the meaning of the word. He is the One Creator of all creatures.

Hence, to forbid people who profess faiths other than those who profess Islam is to say that Allah is not the creator of non-Muslims.

This would indeed be a blasphemy to Allah. A greater insult would be to confine Allah to Muslims and consequently logically to admit that there are other gods, true or false, besides Him/Her/It. This would be against the very tenet of Islam that there in only one God.

God does not speak in human words. Words are created by the human mind that wants to convey to others that which he or she sees, hears, smells, touches and tastes.

From what comes through these senses, the human person extrapolates with his/her intelligence all the common features of similar things and comes up with a symbolic word, e.g., that is a “tree”.

God is spirit. The Absolute has no human body through which It comes to know. The Almighty does not speak in any human language. He/She/It is beyond and above all limited human language.

Why must one pray in a particular language, be it in Latin or in Arabic or in Pali, etc.,? This human rule seems to say that God or Allah can only understand that one language. This is tantamount to limiting the power of God to being able to understand only one language.

It is also equivalent to saying that there are other gods who can understand other languages. It defeats the basic belief of the monotheist religions that believe that there is only one god, one god, creator of all things.

Hence, to limit that absolute being to any human word would be equivalent to making Him/Her/It a human being. This is what we humans say: “to anthropomorphise” the Absolute Almighty. It would be an insult to make Him/Her/It less than what IS.

From the above, it is clear that to forbid anyone from using any word for that Absolute Almighty is to fall into irrationality and absurdity. It is against all reasoning, all facts and truths.

Dear Paul (if you are who you say you are),

I am a Catholic, baptised within a fortnight of birth by Fr James Meehan. Received Holy Communion at 10 from Fr Augustine Jepy & received the Sacrament of Confirmation at 15 from Archbishop Peter Chung.

As a Catholic, I neither acknowledge nor recognize your authority as the titular head of the Catholic church in Malaysia. Your proclamations ex cathedra are misleading & are in direct contradiction with the faith you profess & claim to represent.

I have issued a public challenge to you on Helen Ang’s blog. A nameless, faceless (for now) lay Catholic versus a Jesuit, theologically trained clergy. You and me, we tango – live. Let us not hide behind our computers with measured thoughts interspersed with bombastic words auto corrected by the spell checker.

Name the place & I’ll name the date before we agree on the time. Since the GE is just round the corner, lets make t snappy shall we? For a person with your intellect, I’m sure you don’t need that long to prepare.

We shall see on the day, who is really led by the Holy Spirit won’t we? I await your acceptance of my challenge.

Here’s the link to Helen’s blog where my challenge is stated in the comments section:

        Another bloody good one FFC.

I do wish he accepts the challenge and can get told a few things in the face by a Catholic like you. I like to hear especially about politicizing religion and the Church.

I have read the condemnation against those politicizing Islam and the mosque. But I look forward to hearing the points against politicizing Christianity and the Church. Thrown at the so-called Bishop Tan.

Maybe Bishop Tan is the kind of reasons why the Pope resigned.

        • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

In his final address as the pope from St Peter’s Basillica on Ash Wednesday, the Pope spoke of the need for “hypocrisy” within the church to stop.

      • Mangkuk says:

Good one FFC. These kind of people are arrogant and underestimate people in STL. Hope it happen and don’t forget to invite all STL members.

    • bourne identity says:

simple – saya mahu perkataan allah dalam kitab injil melayu – look at the word ..MELAYU. So use the word god in MELAYU lah in the kitab injil MELAYU.
Dont know you can be appointed a bishop….but got no brain.
You want peace or you PIECES as in PIECES of the serenity of this country torn by people like you and that tokong – if the tokong is a taoist or buddhist..why is he pitting the muslims against the christians?
Again….you never use good of your brain ka? Or is your brain in your ass?

      • Datuk Aku punya Parti says:

        Betul tu FFC!!

They all have no track record. No good deeds to show. No development. No peace environment foward and backward. Never install policies friendly to opportunities creation. Just yalk yalk yalk.
So that’s maybe thats why they create a spark in sensitive issues so that people will get agitated and never see their none doing, nor weaknesses.

Simple enough. Political party is for the betterment of rakyat, present term and future term. Do we or have we ever seen a glitter or even a glimpse of such capacity or ability in the oppo.
It’s all about them, yes? Not about rakyat.

Vote wisely. It is for ours and or next generation’s future.

A ceramah or two, or hearsay expose or fitnah, while doing nothing except than politicking after even winning a few states do not amount to much when compared to BN’s proven track record of bringing our country to the greater heights among south east Asian countries. People are very so affluent nowadays, even the kampung ones. Menial jobs are left to flocking in foreigners.

        So choose wisely.
        Choose stability and prosperity.

“Sikhs, Bahai’s, Maltese, Mizrahi Jews, etc., use Allah.”

      Nope.

“This would indeed be a blasphemy to Allah. A greater insult would be to confine Allah to Muslims – ”

Read Surah Al-Ikhlas and Al-Kafirun in the Quran. It draws a line between the Muslim God and other deities, not matter if you try to tell Muslims it’s the same – it’s different.

“In our own country, in Sabah and Sarawak, our Bumiputera, e.g., Kadazans, Ibans, Bidahyus, Melanaus, etc., have been using the word Allah in their languages for umpteen years.”

Actually those Bumiputeras have their own names for God (Aki Nabalu etc). The word Allah was used since the day Indonesian bibles were brought in.

  23. linpehkong says:

That so called Bishop Paul Tan is not that smart.
There are words that we do not use because of the sensitivities of others. We would have thought that he should be smarter to be appointed a bishop.
Do you call a colored person a Nigger — did he not expound that he has the right to use any word found in any dictionary.
Go call a Indian a pariah in his face – or the word Babi to a Malay.
Yes you have the right, but you have to consider the consequence of your action.

Better the enemy I know that the so fake I don t know.

I also issue a challenge that so called Bishop – the one person who claim to be so knowledgeable to defend a few things in the Bible.
    a) If we are all descendants of Adam and Eve – is there not then a lot of incest going on then? If not, how was the human race propagated.
    b) Joseph married Mary the mother of Jesus Christ. But by then Mary was already with child. Do we call Mary a person with loose character and Jesus a bastard?
You did say that we have a right to use any word that exist in an dictionary did you not?

I don’t give a damn about others what you’ve got to say, I respect it. Your opinions, be it negative or contradict than mine is yours to keep, so do I. What is factually documented befitted to the rakyat given by BN , please do not deny. In fact BN does honor its manifestos, unlike that stupid moron , stammer of a has been from the corporate world leader says otherwise. Just imagine if you are the head of a corporation public listed companies, and you dishonor what you preach, the investors will run in droves, so does the electorates. Same goes to those preacher mans and that lone single half baked preacher woman , today you agree with the devils, and forever, tomorrow , these same preachers say the devil is wrong. But all the while , during the sermons while they preach claims that they are disassociated with the devil himself. This shows that totally the devils is doing the thinking for them.! For the ill informed bastards to claim that the ruling politicians are corrupted, do they know that that US governments/ Europeans are more corrupted in interfering in other democratically elected governments running of their daily affairs.? Installing their puppets to dance to their whims and fancies, that’s corruption to the core. Bankrupted nations who have trillions in debts printing monies internally to create artificial wealth and sustaining economics , that’s corruption of their citizens minds. The holier than tho attitudes of the mat salleh’s trying to correct our system, whilst they still have vast deficits, unemployment’s, their own citizens living on the dol.( welfare lah)i.e gaji buta tiap tiap bulan beratur terima duit masih kuat dan muda pulak tu, kebanyakkan nya. cardboard houses behind the alleyways. Mau tunjuk kita macam mana mau run our country kah. That’s a corrupted mind of an idiot. There are some Evangelical idiots in this country trying to propagate religious ideals, whereby they themselves are not really angel materials, that’s corruption of the human minds. I will only accept if these bunch of of idiotic fools from the opposition cakap serupa bikin then will I beleive , otherwise they are only a bunch of bulshitters to hoodwink the rakyat for their power and glory. If BN government is really not functioning throughout these 57 years , then we will be like Rwanda, Ghana in the era of Idi Amins, like in the present era , the EU going bankrupt, spiralling downwards economically and politically. To rests my case , what has these past 5 years , the opposition states governed by the opposition excelled in. ? Zero, zilch, except in playing politics playing the blame games to the past ruling government. correct.? So in essence, the oppositions in this country are just kaki klentong with do no definite plans of administrating this country , except plundering the wealth, abusing their power to cretae money from ill gotten means, especially Selangor and Penang.

      true true
      just the plain truth

recall in 97 when the Tun Mahathir and his advisors imposed the currency control, an out of the box solution, took out ringgit from circulation, fixed it at RM3.8/1USD the western world opined otherwise.
It turned out to be an effective solution, saving us from an economy crash
and this is now conceded such by the western powers

I agree with a lot of what you say, man on da street. I’d love to see you say more and as often as you can.

But it’d be helpful to readers if you paragraph what you write.

It’d be good if the Pakatan Rakyat fellows read fully and understand what you say and I think many of them have short attention span.
