KJ John, You do Yourself an Injustice

mqdefaultI am not surprised to read Malaysiakini columnist and shareholder, USCI lecturer and church leader KJ John’s “Why I Will Vote Pakatan…”

This is not surprising to those who are familiar with his writings in Malaysiakini and elsewhere.

His political leanings and his anti-government stance are common knowledge.

So, this article was written as an attempt to influence others also to follow suit. I don’t think anybody would deny KJ John’s right to do that. But when he bends the truth to support his arguments, somebody must correct him so that others are not misled.

KJ John must stop passing off prejudices as Gospel truth. He must know it is unChristian not to tell the whole truth. It is unChristian not to be grateful for the many blessings he has received as a citizen of Malaysia.

I submit the following facts and observations for KJ John to consider.

First, KJ John says that if the government had listened to him in 2007, it would have fared better in the 2008 general election.

This statement is highly presumptuous. By what stretch of the imagination does he think he is an expert on the complex mix of Malaysian politics?

His father was a MIC party leader but KJ John has never been a member of any political party.

Second, he says his reason for wanting to vote Pakatan was because BN handled the ‘Allah issue’ badly.

KJ John must have been sleeping these past few months if he has not witnessed the flip-flop stand by Pas (in the PR coalition) over the issue.

Get your facts right, KJ John, it was not BN that handled the ‘Allah’ issue badly, but Pas and DAP.

Why is KJ John so obsessed with this issue anyway? What is the real issue here?

KJ John, does God not answer you if you do not call him Allah? You know you can call him Elohim, Yahweh, Adonal, Theos, or Kurios, and he listens. Indeed, would God be offended if you just called him Father?

God will not be confined to just a few names that have been included in the lexicons of the world’s languages.

Is there only one word in every language to which God will answer ? The written language is a human construct, not a divine revelation.

Would God eventually judge you by your words rather than my your deeds?

KJ John, why are you allowing the ‘Allah issue’ to blind you to all the blessings you have received?

You have all the fundamental freedoms to worship as you please, where you please–in your home or in your Church. Indeed you can worship him without restriction.

You can worship him, not confined by place, language, sentiment, mood, understanding, vocation, affiliation, inclination, education level, sentiment, clothing, mood, or physical attributes.

God listens to everyone who prays to him. Pray tell, KJ John, how have you been deprived, living as you have been in a Malay-majority, Muslim-majority nation all your life?

The non-Malays are assured of their rights and privileges as enshrined in the Federal constitution which is a very carefully and cleverly crafted document.

The rights and privileges accorded to one race or adherents of one faith are balanced by the rights of other races and religions.

Since independence in 1957, the Constitution has been amended about 40 times, but not a single amendment was made to these core provisions.

That must prove how the ruling government staunchly protects and upholds the freedoms of the people which they have enjoyed uninterrupted these past 57 years.

Third, KJ John, you said in your article, and I quote: “The federal government is still heavily dominated by Malays …(and the government has )been abusing the Malaysians of Sabah and Sarawak, much worse than the White Rajah has ever abused them!

Come on, come on KJ John, a little learning is a dangerous thing, as they say. You don’t even know the White Rajahs never ruled Sabah. Also, you have no idea how the White Rajahs treated the people of Sarawak. You were not born then, and were not even a glint in your father’s eye.

Again, you say, and I quote: “Why is it that after almost 50 years of this willing and voluntary merger (with Malaysia), their position and placement (with rights and privileges) as the bumiputeras of Sabah and Sarawak, is not better or equal to even the middle 60 percent of the Malay bumiputeras or even in the same category of non-Malays?

KJ John, you are woefully ignorant of the nation’s history, of how the Federal Constitution was framed, nor do you have any in-depth knowledge of the events that led to the formation of Malaysia.

Please get off your blinkered horse and mix with the people in Sabah and Sarawak. They will enlighten you and fill the gaps in your knowledge.

Fourth, and again, I quote you. You said: “…while our education system has uplifted many Malay bumiputeras from farmers and fishermen to IT professionals and engineers, and all this done within one generation, where then are the Orang Asli and the Orang Asal in all such calculations and performances?

KJ John, I don’t think you are qualified to talk about the alleged neglect of Orang Asli.

You were in Government service for more than 30 years, part of that time in the Prime Ministers’ Department. During that period, have you so much as helped one single Orang Ali?

You have had your share of the fruits of Government service– in terms of civil service promotions, PSD scholarships for you and for your children.

You were then in a position to help not only the Orang Asli but also the poor Indians, the poor Chinese, the poor people of Sabah and Sarawak. But what did you do?

If during that period, the nation did not benefit from the kind of wisdom you now pretend to exhibit, neither did you after you left government service.

Fifth, KJ John you speak of integrity as if it was a virtue that had guided you in the three decades of public service? Are you implying that, in the entire civil service then, you were the only officer with integrity?

To summarise, your only justification for voting Pakatan is because of the Allah. And on that issue alone, you pass judgement.

Never mind the heady economic growth over the past 50-odd years; never mind Vision 2020; never mind the policy to erradicate poverty regardless of race; never mind the opening up of vast educational opportunities; never mind the abolition of the ISA, the Printing Presses Act, never mind the relaxation of the rules of association; never mind the unprecedented GDP growth; never mind the progress in the fight against corruption; never mind the successes in putting Malaysia on the world map through its mega projects; and never mind the far-reaching government transformation programmes.

There are also the intangible achievements including the psychological freedoms and business confidence.

KJ John, you have ignored all these and instead have just zeroed in one one non-issue.

Where therefore is your integrity?

In my books, your ignorance of Malaysian history, of the Federal Constitution, of the position of the Malay rulers, of its economic development and of its international standing, disqualifies you as an informed voter.

But Malaysia practices true democracy, it does not deny any Malaysian, however ill-informed, however bigoted, however devoid of basic Christian values, and however bereft of dignity, his right to vote.

Correct me if I’m wrong, I believe he was with the government service for 20 or 30 years not as a clerk or something but as a policy expert or analyst of some sort in the diplomatic service. Why never say anything when he had the power & clout to do so? Why now? Jaga periuk nasi is it? Sorry, but in my books that’s what we call a HYPOCRITE

    • A says:

Was he “a policy expert or analyst of some sort in the diplomatic service”? I doubt it.

If so, he would not have demented thinking and a warped mind that he now seems to have.

Or did he have demented thinking and a warped mind while in government service such that he was not promoted and his name was not heard while in service?

I still have not heard of his name except recently in the wayward and mischievous Malaysiakini blog that was at one time warned by Home Minister Hishamuddin for reporting what he said wrongly.

      • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

He’s a columnist in Malay Mail. The column is ironically named Truth Matters. The blurb thingy says thus; K.J. is a former public servant who spent more than 31 years in the administrative and diplomatic service as a policy analyst. He dreams of a Malaysia integrated with integrity!

        • A says:

          Thanks for the clarification, bro.

31 years in ADS and not much heard of. The higher ups do have good judgment on the leanings and sympathies of ADS Officers such that those of doubtful loyalty (they swear loyalty to YDP Agong and country -meaning the gomen – I think) are given only such jobs as lecturers at the training school INTAN.

And the lectures are taped, I presume, so that blokes like KJ John cannot create havoc there.

I’m told that there are even Malay Officers given only glorified titles and big desks but only research jobs of one kind or other, and not promoted from the age of 30 to retirement. Thank God, they promote only Officers with loyalty, sound judgment and good discretion, irrespective of race.

          • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

I knew I saw it somewhere so I googled him. Lo & behold I got all that. Tsk tsk. Name the column like that sumore…

      • Freeman says:

So you are telling us your thinking is lucid.

        • Anon says:

Our thinking is free. Bebas. How about yours? Tokong ban you if not follow his, yes or no?

Lucid = bright, correct? Sure our thinking is bright. No Tokong shadows.

        • Anon says:

Tokong control you so much you have to come out with a name Freeman, ah? Sad.

  2. tiggerkayu says:

Growth in per capita GDP and GNI from August 1957 till now?

Ratings of the national education system from Independence till now?

Just some of the quantitative factors that could contradict your feel-good assumptions.

Let’s not even talk about the “brain drain” and the Malaysian “diaspora”.

    • A says:

You only give questions but no answers, eh, tigakayu?

If yours is a reflection of the so-called quality of the “brain” that “drain”, Malaysia certainly is doing much better with the likes of you absconded.

Are you already absconded, now writing from overseas, homesick of this beautiful and rich country, like some blokes do from Australia?

      • Freeman says:

Aren’t you also writing from oversea? Why aren’t you living in your home country? Aren’t you homesick of this beautiful and rich country, to quote you?

    • Anonymas says:

      lol ‘brain drain’

People who go studying overseas using govt sponsored money and not coming back shouldn’t be called brain drain. They’re of no use here because they’re not tough enough or quality enough to work locally. They also have no understanding that the reason they’re employed working over there is because they are willing to work on lower pay than the native workers over there like PATI in our country.

      • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

I’ve been lucky enough to have been based in UK, Singapore & Australia with my company. When an opening availed, I jumped at the chance to come home. I lost a substantial sum of remuneration due to this as I no longer qualify for expatriate’s pay or allowances.

I didn’t come back for money or to woo a girl I like. Nor did I return due to the Talentcorp’s RTP of which I’m not qualified by virtue of having joined the company in Malaysia. I didn’t even return to KL because of the food (as my utopia is Sarawak Kolo Mee & Laksa). I came home because this is just that – home. For me at least, I’m happy to be back here.

Point is, people leave for economic, career, educational reasons. It’s their choice, don’t hold it against them. If you wanna blame someone, anyone then blame those who made the choice to leave. Isn’t it unfair to blame the government for that especially when you advocate freedom of choice?

  3. shaharir zainudin says:

KJ John used to be my lecturer in INTAN . He was so proud telling people that he never allow any of his children to watch TV at home. As a person he is indeed very polite and always wear a smile on his face. Intellectually KJ John is just an average Joe.

  4. Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

BTW KJ, I’m Sarawakian of mixed parentage. I’ve seen my bumi relatives enjoying life more than they did 20-30 years ago. Whereas once they relied on gas lamp, generators & candles, they now have electricity. Whereas once their only water source was from streams & rain, they have piped water supply which is a lot cleaner & reliable than the supply we get from SYABAS. Whereas their only source of info then were shortwave radios, they have satellite TV now. Whereas roads then were of the gravel or redsoil variety, tarred roads are the norm today. Whereas getting to complete form 5 was a big deal then, there’s a bevy of professionals like doctors, engineers etc now. For the older generation, their source of income was tilling the land. Guess what? They have land titles now for their agricultural land. And the govenment don’t just stop there. They provide quarterly provisions of herbicide & fertilizers to the people too. And for those who are into free range chicken, well, the government give them chicks to rear. And as far as I can tell, there are lots of chapels in the kampungs all over Sarawak. They don’t lack government assistance to build or maintain them.

So KJ, try living in Sarawak for 30 years before making a comment on the government abusing the natives. Your intelligence is useless without common sense. By ASSUMING something as a gospel truth, you make an ASS of yoU and ME, your readers. And try not to forget KJ, when I die, I will answer to the Lord almighty (or Allah as you so provocatively call Him) as will you. Yes, I’m a Christian, not of the evangelical or bible thumping kind, but a Christian nevertheless. Will your conscience be clear when your time of judgment comes?

    • A says:

Bloody good one, Fakin’ Fake Calvin.

    • Freeman says:

      Another boot polisher ,I see

      • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

I don’t work for the government nor am I in business or politics. I don’t need to polish anyone’s boots in the office because I’ve proven myself at work time & again since joining them. We don’t do business with or provide any service to the government too, btw.

So whose boots do you polish Freeman? Are you in fact really free?

      • Servant of God says:

Ah, thank you, Freeman. For all your words to me on how I “should not compartmentalize all those who disagree with [me]“, you turned out to be a Pakatoon anyway.

It didn’t take long for you to show your Pakatoon cape, ruffled collar and red nose, did it?

Of course, if you insist that it is entirely possible for one to utter such niceties as “Another boot polisher ,I see” and still NOT be a PR supporter, do enlighten me. I am willing to be corrected.

      • ray says:

Jeez freeman, is that all you’re capable of? Speaks volumes of your impartiality and your IQ level.

Doubtful you’ll ever earn anyone’s respect.

    • Anonymas says:

      Auk!

Thank you for clarifying this. Yes, KJ John and his brethren still think that Sabah & Sarawak people live in impoverished conditions. He never took the time to visit or check his facts. Try bringing him to the Kuching Waterfront. He’ll piss himself and faint.

      • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

Banyak gilak orang Malaya pikir sidak nya aja pandey. Orang gia tikam jak masuk sungei serawak merik boya makan.

They say you don’t appreciate things until you lose them. What didn’t say is that you appreciate things knowing the sacrifices given to attain them. Sarawakians know the sacrifices made on the road to nationhood. The famed rangers are mainly made up of Ibans & other Sarawak natives. So to the Border Scouts. Many lives were lost in the line of fire.

All that makes us Sarawakians appreciate what we already have. The grass is not always greener over the other pastures beyond the yonder.

      • Anon says:

I admire the cleanliness of bandar Kuching; it can bring shame to PAS Kelantan if it is compared with the dirty Kota Bahru. And Islam teaches Muslims to be clean, but obviously it’s not practiced by PAS in KB.

  5. Mangkuk says:

From PR point of view existing government if a cruel regime. Same as Roman Caeser in time of Christians.

Those Christians who use religions as a tools to bring chaos is not a true Christians.

“Render unto Caesar…” is the beginning of a phrase attributed to Jesus in the synoptic gospels, which reads in full, “Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s” (Ἀπόδοτε οὖν τὰ Καίσαρος Καίσαρι καὶ τὰ τοῦ Θεοῦ τῷ Θεῷ Matthew 22:21).

    That a good Christians.

Didn’t they all the lawyers in PR understand this or didn’t they teach their MP regarding this apart from siphon states money?:

    Article 11
Every person has the right to profess and practice his religion and, subject to Clause (4), to propagate it.
No person shall be compelled to pay any tax the proceeds of which are specially allocated in whole or in part for the purposes of a religion other than his own.
Every religious group has the right -
    (a) to manage its own religious affairs;
    (b) to establish and maintain institutions for religious or charitable purposes; and
    (c) to acquire and own property and hold and administer it in accordance with law.
State law and in respect of the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, federal law may control or restrict the propagation of any religious doctrine or belief among persons professing the religion of Islam.

This Article does not authorize any act contrary to any general law relating to public order, public health or morality.

    • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

There are a few group of people I hate more than politicians. Child abusers & rapists fall into that category.

Another group would be those who use religion & God’s name as a means to justify all that they do, right or wrong regardless.

These sorts make truths out of lies. They make facts out of slanders. They legitimize the illegitimate. They make sacred the unholy. They make alliances with evil. They carry the fire of hatred in their hearts. Their avarice is such that no matter how much they’ve gotten, it is never enough. Their lust; never satisfied.

      Theirs is the kingdom of the damned when judgment comes. For the Christian politicians, keep this in mind;

“Woe to you when others speak well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated false prophets.” Luke 6: 26

      • Freeman says:

A double- edged sword cuts both ways.

        • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

So where does that place you? You pontificate the rights that the PR do, defend their wrong moves & keep your gob shut when they screw up big time.

Just like how you comment on this website. You pick & choose where to drop your one liners. You speak as if you’ve not been on the receiving end of the good the current government has given the people. Have you not received any subsidy for the fuel you burn? Or the sugar you sweeten your life with? Or the rice that you grew on? Oh, let’s not forget the flour for which your bread is made of. The list on…

I voted for PR in the last election. I’ve realized my folly now. I don’t see why I should vote in a government PROMISING change when I’m already governed by one that IS CHANGING. That is of course further reinforced by one of PR’s MB saying election promises are not agreements set in stone.

          • Anon says:

            Good points, Sir.

Those not agree with the post cannot say one-liners.

I can. Because I always agree. If not, I say more lines.

Maybe the fellow cannot think what and how to argue.

  6. W. Shanmugam says:

There are so many who bite the ( BN as led by the UMNO), hand which fed them fat and rich, in their gratefulness this is the result for all to see. No self-esteem or character. Common people.

    • Anonymas says:

say thank you when the mom gives them a plate of rice, a glass of milk, pocket money for school etc.
maybe they will grow up graciously, well mannered and will recognise the parents deed and take good care of them when old

Nowadays we dont see people thanking others.
No expression of thanks be it verbally of non verbal upon pregnant or person in need being given a seat in LRTs.
Take RM100 school kids allocation quietly
Likewise, never expressing gratitude for all the good things we enjoy in this country now due to the all wise and compromising policies of the ruling BN which has rakyat’s interest in their heart.(and being swayed by a simple conniving jargon from the oppo)

      Terimakasih BN

  7. Mangkuk says:

    St Matthew Chapter 22 :
    ……..
16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, aneither carest thou for any man: for thou bregardest not the person of men.

17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it alawful to give tribute unto Cæsar, or not?

18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why atempt ye me, ye hypocrites?

19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

21 They say unto him, Cæsar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things which are Cæsar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
    ……..

Do not misquote the bible to win an argument.

      • Mangkuk says:

        Freeman,

Did I misquote it?. Did I comment anything on it? The most important things is what we learn from it. What good Christians Jesus want Christian to be and for those non Christians to see how Christians too is a good people if they follow Bible.

Every year there’s a rising number of orang Asli pupils getting more As in major exams – hell, there’s more admissions of Orang Asli to Uni’s. Does KJ John live in Bizarro world?

  9. STL,

One word to describe this article, solid.

    Thank you

  10. Bruce Fam says:

As I have said before, people like K John are being indoctrinated by the idealism, lies propagated by DAP and PAP Malaysian Malaysia where Meritocracy is their God. In order to achieve their selfish goal, they demonise everything BN did is wrong, corrupted, not worth a shit. All this PAkatan stooges since lost their sense of balance and have become zombies who cannot see the lies and wrong doings of their Pakatan leaders. I am a Malaysian born and bred in Malaysia, considered having a successful career and 2 grown up children who are professional. Of course being non bumi, we complain a about the so called inequality but and of the day we need to see the big picture so that all other races can succeed. Today I am happy that there are many successful Malay professionals compare with say 30 yrs ago. And we are peaceful partly due to this NEP . So lets us continue to reform as what PM Najib is doing. If Pakatan is doing this, I will support them. Alas Pakatan is not doing any good at all.

  11. serialp0d says:

KJ John? Hahaha….this is one fella who is too frustrated that people don’t accord him the intellectual respect that he thinks he deserves. Enough people have pointed out the follies of his own writing so I don’t think I need to say much but to simply say, this fella is too much of himself. Neither is he a leader of any sort. If he was one, he’s a sad one. One that is best ignored. Go to the corner and sulk, KJ John. You’re not relevant.

  12. Kamalahassan says:

Why do you guys here (almost all of you, including the host blogger) go on personal attacks on KJ John. Any personal motive? Appears so to me. You should argue on points and logically state your case instead going under the belt. Nampak macam culture ” surat layang”. You should know what kind of low class people write surat layang in our country. Rasa malu lah tenguk lu orang . Jangan malukan bangsa sendiri.

    • Mangkuk says:

Hello Kamalhassan. Are you in hurry? If you want to set a theory don’t blanket your statistic otherwise it just hypothesis only . I am not attacking KJ John. Read my comment above.

      • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

Mangkuk la Mangkuk… Bukan engkau yang mangkuk, Mangkuk tapi mangkuk yang sorang tu yang mangkuk!

Why aren’t you focusing on the fact that the object if the article & subsequent disussion had not only made unsubstantiated claims, he had insulted Savahans, Sarawakians & Orang Aslis? Or the fact that he aims potshots at the federal government over the Allah issue but is elegantly silent on the flip flopping of PR over the same? Why did you fail to question his statement on the government failing to “listen to his advice” or that he served with integrity over 3 decades. Has he brought dishonest colleagues or superiors to the book over those decades? If yes, how many? If yes, what are the reasons for doing so? If not, then WHY THE HELL NOT???!!!

I don’t know KJ John personally but then again, based on his pompous writing which I have read, I’m lucky I don’t. The government isn’t perfect, but then again which one amongst us are? I’m glad that since I’ve marked a cross next to the PKR candidate in 2008, this government started to listen. They started evolving that March day in 2008. It’s a long road, but what the hell? We’re in it for a long haul & I’d still pick BN any day over PR based on the last 58 months anytime.

    • Servant of God says:

“You should argue on points and logically state your case instead going under the belt.”

      Hahahahahahaha

      Seriously? Hahahahahaha

      OK, OK. Let’s try this.

Lately I have been accused of being too quick to accuse people who disagree with me as being Pakatoons. So instead of verbally knifing you in the gut right now for obvious reasons, allow me to take a different track instead.

Welcome to STL, Kamalahassan. You make an interesting point about how the article approached the subject of KJ John. We are a quite the jaded lot, you see. We’ve been in perhaps too many verbal fights that our scar tissue and wounds have rendered us insensitive at times.

As such, I would like to invite you to participate in the factual and logical discussion on KJ John. Perhaps you would like to begin by describing – with supporting facts, of course – how KJ John is not like how the article portrays him.

I look forward to this intellectual debate, because the last time we had a running exchange of thoughts was with Haiwan Jim. And that was as much a debate as buying a goat is called mowing the lawn.

      • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

Bro, that’s known as the more organic & environmental friendly intellectual discussion, I mean lawn mowing..

        • Servant of God says:

Environmentally friendly, maybe. But you get poop in the grass, your flowers get chewed up also and your laundry start to go missing from the clothesline.

Now is that any way to live, bro?

          • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

Some seems to think it is the way to go. They claim it is big picture as it is for the next generation. I, on the other hand, think they should just cut the bullshit. I mean, the PR apologists & supporters are ALWAYS painting a picture about a better tomorrow. Say I’m blind or I need vision correction, but basing my opinion on how Kelantan, Penang, Selangor H Kedah is run, all I see is darkness if they come into power.

Btw, they’ll tell you the poop acts as fertilizers & the missing clothes as zero emission recycling. Hell, they even believe all that crap they’re saying!

          • Servant of God says:

            FFC bro,

You’re a wiser man than me.

    • Calvin Sankaran says:

Dope, or dumb, people like you also make us feel disgusted. Voting BN is similiar to inviting rapist into your home to rape your wife and daughter and possibly your mother as well if possible.

        Sankaran,

Wow! Give me the facts. It sound more like like Anuwar, PAS and DAP. Worst even your father, your brother, your nephew and your ass also in danger.

        • Calvin Sankaran says:

          you want facts? very easy.
Ask the shamed ketua wanita umno and musang aman, mahmud taib on how they swallow people’s money.

          • anon says:

            which money?

            the RM1b one is it?

            underwater one is it?

          • anónimo says:

Ha ha ha. Bring them to court! Court have all the people to dig anything even without asking. Anuwar believe and comfortable with it. Why don’t you?

          • Fakin' Fake Calvin says:

Let’s see… NFC case has already led to charges being filed in court.

Musa’s case saw Rafizi leading a delegation to ICAC only to be told there’s no case to answer. Mind you, this is the world famous Independent Commission Against Corruption – world famous and is the gold standard others strive for.

Taib’s accusations? Why has no one has blown the whistle on the matter? Over 30 years as the CM, made no enemies & offended anybody meh? Always accusing, rarely producing it seems.

What about the Ngeh Nga axis? Why there’s an absence of even a murmur from PR? Why is there a gag order from DAP over the matter? I thought there’s this CAT policy in place?

Talking about policies, what’s that about free speech? So banning NST & Utusan is promoting free speech? Shutting others up when they criticize us is advocation of free speech?

What about LGE’s response to questions about the Allah issue? He said “Not in front of BN media.” Why la so scared to make a stand which is supposedly based on sound principles?

Seriously, is that how a Pakatoon views facts? As something they can pull out of their asses? Aiyooo…

        • Calvin Sankaran says:

you like to bring up the arse topic ya. you are infact have fetism in in getting your arse shafted and i think your are sulking this moment because your backside has no takers!

    MoFo’s!!!
The operators of the Kesas Highway make RM19,668,000 every month. That’s RM236,016,000 every year. The highway has been collecting toll since 1996. So that’s 16 years. Ok allowing for gradual toll rate increases, traffic volume etc. let’s say they collect RM200,000,000 a year. That means they have collected perhaps RM3,200,000,000.

From tomorrow ( January 15, 2013) they are giving you and me a 20 sen discount. So come on everybody, get down on your knees and say thank you. Bastards!

The statement most likely to make you puke……….

“I feel so sad to see people, especially the older folk, having to struggle and carry buckets of water to their flats. Some even have to carry it to the 10th floor.

“Water is a fundamental right of any human being. We must resolve the basic needs of the people. This is not a political game but about the survival of the people.” – Najib Razak at a supermarket in Semenyih.

If he felt so ‘sad’ and cared so much for the people, I wonder why he wants to wait until he wins the General Elections? Do you know why?

    Friday funny

Malaysian highway deals. Talk about handing over stuff on a silver platter!!!

YAY!!! It’s Friday! The weekend’s here! I knew there’d be some funnies in the media today. And I found a good one when browsing through The Sun this morning.

The story was headlined “West Coast Expressway to cost RM6b”.

What’s so funny about that you ask. Wait. Doesn’t the headline tell you that whoever announced that wanted to make the audience feel that it is such a piece of good news? And true enough the report starts like this….

“The construction cost for the West Coast Expressway, linking Banting, Selangor, to Taiping, Perak, is now 15% lower at RM6 billion compared with the initial estimate of RM7.07 billion a year ago.”

Phwaar! So good ah? Save so much money issit? Good la. But then….

“Of course, the highway is also shorter at 233km compared with the earlier construction distance of 316km.”

Oh, I see. Errr…so where is the good news? Oh wait ah…got some more…

“The highway project, which is on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis, will also have a shorter concession period of 50 years, compared with the initial reported 60 years.”

GREAT!!! Remember we all kicked up such a fuss when we heard about this highway concessionaire being awarded a toll-collection period of 60 years?! Now we endure 10 years less of being fucked up the ass. Huh? What?

“The concession period will be extended for another 10 years if the agreed targeted internal rate of return……is not achieved.”

Hahahahahahahaha….I don’t know about you but I find this incredibly laughable. The BN government thinks we are stupid or what? Yes they do. And in case you’re planning to write to your MP, stage a protest or plan a demonstration at Stadium Merdeka or a place that the PDRM approves of after the Home Minister has okayed somewhere else…………

The concession agreement was signed between West Coast Expressway Sdn Bhd and the government on January 2, 2013.

Vision 2020. Believe it or not.
Mahathir promised that Malaysia would achieve developed nation status by 2020. What does that mean? Really. Here is a layman’s explanation of Vision 2020. Read it and worry. Why should your Monday be any better than mine? Hahahahaha…

In its own way: Let me try my hand at explaining. The Mamak (that’s Tun Dr. Mahathir to you – ed.) said we will achieve RM 17k per capita in Wawasan 2020. Najib lowered the bar and said “High Income Nation at RM 15k per capita” instead. Factoring inflation using gold as the bench mark (deflation of RM relative to gold over past 40 years), at RM 15K in 2020, we are worse off than our per capita GDP in 2009. Meaning our per capita in 2009 can buy more stuff than RM 15 k per capita in 2020. So in our own way, we guarantee you are worse off than before. To achieve that, we print RM like crazy to create inflation and skim off the money today to let you pay the debts tomorrow. Sorry, that’s why our projects have to be at least 5 to 10 times the real cost. How do we protect ourselves – Buy gold. Ehmm, not Genneva please.

Shit! I almost missed the fine print in the Muhyiddin Yassin story.

In The Sun report he said “What matters most is to decide the country’s direction for the next seven years as former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had envisioned Malaysia to become a fully developed nation in its own way by 2020.”

…Malaysia to become a fully developed country in its own way??? What the fuck does that mean? So when 2020 rolls up the BN will tell us that we are a developed country already? And even if we are really not they will qualify by saying “In our own way ma!” And if they are not in Putrajaya anymore and Malaysia does really achieve developed country status they will deny it is true because it is not in the way it should be. Wah! I tell you ah all this political talk is making my head spin la. And it’s only Monday!

Shows you what bad parents Patrick Teoh had growing up. Or perhaps he was orphaned. I don’t know which one it is but either way I feel sorry for him. Must have been tough growing up. And for those who has been saying we’ve gotta cut him some slack for having suffered polio at a young age, it didn’t affect his brains did it? I condemn those who make fun of his disability as much as I condemn those who think it gives him a license to shoot his mouth.

    • Servant of God says:

And I thought I was acerbic at times.

This PT just has no manners.

      • Calvin Sankaran says:

no manners required when dealing with BN dogs.
just give them you middle finger when you come across them as they threatened the non bumis before that they would like to dip the keris in blood.

        • Anonymous says:

But you have no manners at all, period. You even use another person’s blogging name. Your parents must have left you to your own devices as a kid, roaming the pig sty, picking up pig shit and putting it into your mouth periodically.

That’s why your mouth spew pig shit every time you come out here, inciting and seditious, saying “threatened the non bumis .. they would like to dip the keris in blood”, without stating who exactly said them, when, how, why, etc and quoting authoritative and reliable sources for what you say.

You have been exploiting photographs of UMNO Youth leaders aspiring to be the Youth Chief holding the keris like the ancient Malay warrior in order to get votes at their party elections, whereas none of them has used the seditious words you used, you son of a gun.

          • Calvin Sankaran says:

IF you don’t know, then I don’t think you deserved to make any comments.
You are only interested to make biased comments.

Anyway, ironically, you’ve already answered your own question, you stupid umno dog!

          • Servant of God says:

“You are only interested to make biased comments?”

While your comments are fair and well-balanced?

Please share with me how your “no manners required when dealing with BN dogs” is fair and well-balanced. It would be so educational.

OK! OK! I understand your mindset now… Bitter & blaming everyone except yourself for your miseries.

I’ve always been straight, always will Calvin. So you must have shoved your sausage down someone’s else’s throat, your esteemed PR leader perhaps…

          • Servant of God says:

            Impostor Calvin,

My, oh my. How you’re rockin’ the house, huh?

My dear Malaysians, for all the talk about fairness, about discussing things candidly and openly, in the end, this is what PR is interested in.

They do not welcome any differing views, although we had time and again requested for them to share their views with us.

And when they get caught in their own web of lies, well, just look at this impostor pretending to be Calvin Sankaran. Not only does he besmirch another person’s good name, he uses that name to gravely insult others.

So how about it, my fellow Malaysians? Do you think that YOUR name is safe from them? Do you think that you are safe from being the target of their insults?

Remember. Tunku Aziz was once described by these people as a Towering Malay. Now, just look at the vitriol these people have heaped over Tunku Aziz. Do you want that to happen to you?

It’s really your decision, but for me, PR only deserves to be buried in an unmarked grave.

            Reject PR.

That’s probably why his wife left him. Serves him right!

Are you sure you paid income tax? As far is tax collection is concerned, less than 10% of the population paid

For all other taxes, the bangla and indon workers also can claim they are tax payers as well.
Did your parents paid income tax before?
Who paid for your education? Your parents or the tax payers?
