The call by DAP organising secretary Anthony Loke to ban all “sexy singers” at all its party functions is a big slap on the face of the Chinese community.
It also smacks of the party stooping so low down as being submissive to the wishes of its Taliban PAS brother.
There can be no better word than political eunuchs to describe DAP.
They can’t even stand up for themselves for a simple issue as having singers at its own party functions. Instead they allow themselves to be “pushovers”.
Anthony Loke’s suggestion only reflects the weakness of the DAP of easily conceding defeat and giving in to the demands and pressures of PAS.
Anthony’s reason in calling for a ban is this: “When people come to our party functions, they come to listen to political speeches, not for indecent entertainment,” he was quoted as saying.
In the first place, then he as the organising secretary of the party should have from the start insisted on such conformities.
Why ban such performances now after PAS leaders attending a DAP function had taken offence to a singing performance which was stopped abruptly after PAS leaders expressed their displeasure.
Just because some PAS leaders who were guests at the function did not like the dressing of the singers, which they claimed were too sexy; the other guests were deprived of entertainment.
What was even worse is that the villagers who sponsored the singing performances were infuriated because they had raised thousands of ringgit and were looking forward to the show.
You cannot blame them for being enraged that DAP had “kow tow” to the PAS leaders when they were merely guests and have no bloody right to make a fuss.
If they had found the show not to their liking, they should have excused themselves. Why impose your ways on others, especially when you are just an invited guest.
The Ketuanan PAS culture with Pakatan Rakyat is rearing is ugly side. But the irony is that vocal DAP leaders like Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Tony Pua, Teresa Kok have all of a sudden lost their voice.
They have not uttered a single word on this issue, nor made a stand, nor told off PAS that they have no bloody business meddling with their affairs.
Their deafening silence is most regrettable. Why is it so?
Even before PAS has taken control of the government, they are already throwing their weight around.
But what is even more worse is that DAP had allowed itself to be kicked or shove around by its “tai kor” PAS just like a dog.
I shudder what would it be like if Pakatan Rakyat were to form the government of the day.
Would DAP have the political muscle and guts to stand up for what is not justified or play the role of a YES man.
Just because of the displeasure of the PAS leaders, there will be no more singing performances at DAP functions just to please PAS.
Anthony Loke, you are a big let down to the Chinese and you better be known as Asshole Loke.
The DAP has degenerated to be an apologist for PAS. DAP has somewhat become a political eunuch when it comes to standing up to PAS, its big brother.
DAP can proclaim itself to be the champion of the Chinese but when it comes to standing up to real challenges, they are reduced to become a MOUSE.

O = Obedient to PKR and their “tai kor” PAS
U = U-turn to all election pledges
S = Silent when PAS in Kedah and Kelantan award projects via direct negotiations
E = Envious of BN achievements while claiming them as your own in Penang.
The thing that needs UBAH here is DAP’s deafening silence on issues affecting the Chinese.
PAS as you know, since the formation of Pakatan Rakyat, has been the dominant party playing its role as the “tai kor” in the Opposition grouping.
It is evident that when Perak was under Pakatan Rakyat, and even though that PAS did not hold the most number of seats, DAP had willingly relinquished the Mentri Besar’s post in favour of a PAS candidate.
It’s most embarrassing that DAP which professes that it is the champion of human rights and welfare of the people, in particular to the Chinese have now been reduced to a lap dog.
The submissive ways of the DAP is a big political letdown to the Chinese. They have succumbed to political patronage and have become political scumbags.
