The newspapers have reported that Lim Guan Eng is surrounded by a bunch of cocky, half baked and juvenile staff on his 28th floor office in Komtar. Well, maybe the papers didn’t quite describe it that way but you know what the papers are like. They are so “takut” of this vindictive man who cannot take even a little bit of criticism.
He is so megalomaniac that if you tell him, your hair so nice today, he will say, yesterday not nice ah? Why you so critical of me today? Anyway we don’t want to get sidetracked by his hair which is back to the oily style now that his love affair has ended.
Today we want to talk about LGE’s boys and girls who have caused so much problems for him and the Penang media. According to our reporter friends, these gang of people around Emperor LGE are known as the 28th floor.
LGE’s boys and girls are now the most hated bunch of clowns in Komtar. Why? Let us tell you.
They are bloody arrogant. They think that just because their boss is so powerful and loved by Penang Chinese, that means the people also love them. They are strutting around like their arrogant boss. You say their boss, they go for you with a sledgehammer. You criticise their boss, you are finished.
Reporters tell us they will send nasty press statements running them down. They are not very smart. We can tolerate some cocky behaviour if you graduated from Harvard or Cambridge. The clowns around LGE have some education, some don’t even go to university.
But half had failed their Form 5, joined DAP and suddenly the tsunami happened and they were lording it over the media from the 28th floor. In fact, state exco member Danny Law cannot even speak English correctly! Another exco, Lim Hock Seng, was a contractor, filling up potholes in Butterworth and he also struggles with his English and BM.
They belong to the Dong Jiao Zong gang. That means they speaking little bit England only. As for Bahasa Malaysia, err, what is that language ah? You get our drift? So when they issue press statements, it’s like in Astro Oh My English! Really teruk.
We won’t go into their command of the national language because these guys think they are living in a branch of China. Can you blame the Malay papers for not being able to relate with them and the English media for misunderstanding them?
The most powerful man after LGE on 28th floor is Zairil Khir Johari. No need for introduction, he is already famous as the Chinese fella with the Malay name. His power comes from the fact that he is currently LGE’s favourite, most trusted.
He will be made the next Deputy CM to replace that good for nothing Mansor Ismail. Actually he is not as obnoxious as his boss because he is quite blur but say anything about his boss and he will immediately rebut you in press statement, at ceramah or write in his column for the Malaysian Insider.
Anyway Zairil, enjoy your place under the Son (pun intended) while it lasts. LGE is like another cuckoo bird Ong Tee Keat, megalomaniac, paranoaic and neurotic. Prone to mood swings, morning happy, afternoon angry, evening sad. One day you are there, next day you are out. Give us a call when you fall, we don’t mind lending you a shoulder to cry on before you are pushed off 28th Floor.
If Zairil in not obnoxious, his fellow 28th floor resident Chang Yin Fang is. Such a pretty girl with a sweet face but she is dangerous and crazy. Her former friends in the Chinese newspapers say she cannot tolerate even a little criticism about her boss.
The power has gone to her head since she started working on the 28th floor. Some of her former colleagues are no longer talking to her and even hentam her on Facebook. Don’t bother to send FB Friend request, she no longer goes into FB because she says it is full of hate for her. She cannot tahan the fact that so many people hate her.
Like her boss she only wants to be loved and praised. It’s the curse of the 28th floor. This Yin Fan supposedly graduated from USM and won a string of press awards. How can that be true? The Penang reporters say her press statements sound like circulars issued by bureaucrats working in the People’s Republic of China. USM should recall her degree and she should return her press awards.
Of late she has started to threaten people, uses bullying language to make the media write nice things about her boss. Her behaviour makes them want to rush to FB to beat the daylights out of her.
Moreover, she is being blamed for Ng Phaik Kheng aka Rainbow’s transfer out of 28th Floor. She felt that LGE was getting too close to Rainbow, which means Rainbow was getting more influential than her in the office.
Yin Fan is what you call a Queen Bee, she has to be in charge and in control. So she reported to Betty Chew that her hubby was getting “too friendly” with Rainbow. Before Rainbow knew it, she had been given her marching orders, sent to work for the old lady Chong Eng in Bukit Mertajam.
The result: Yin Fan – 1. Rainbow – 0. LGE – Plaster. Betty – new designer handbag, shopping therapy.
But more hated than even Yin Fan and Zairil is Ng Wei Aik, political secretary to the Emperor. This man would make the triad bosses in Hong Kong run in fear. He is the father of gangsters.
Who can forget how when the enforcement officers went to close an illegal stall. Wei Aik who is an assemblyman, got carried away and also carted away gas tanks and chairs from the shop. Instead of standing up for the ordinary folk, he had become the oppressor.
Yes, he is the YB who is not with the people. Like his boss, he does not like people who ask questions or who are critical and he is also a racist. He once asked a woman married to a foreigner to balik India. But his boss loves him and has refused to remove him despite tons of complaints.
With people like that on 28th Floor, we are not surprised that the Bulletin Mutiara published 51 photos of LGE in one issue. The bulletin only has 28 pages.
When people laughed and poked fun at it, they reduced it to 28 photos of Dear Leader in the next issue. Can you still hear the laughter? It has not stopped. What a bunch of clowns. The latest issue? 11 pictures of Dear Leader!

Malaysia defamation win for rare-earths miner Lynas

RARE-EARTHS miner Lynas has had a win in one of its defamation cases against groups voicing strong opposition to its Malaysian processing operation.
A free and independent Malaysian media outlet, Free Malaysia Today, yesterday issued an apology for articles it had published, which claimed the Lynas plant could be unsafe.
“We apologise for these publications as such claims do not have a scientific basis. The regulatory review of the Lynas plant has been thorough and diligent,” the media company said.
The apology comes after Lynas announced in May that it had begun defamation proceedings in Malaysia against the Save Malaysia Stop Lynas group and some Malaysian media outlets.
Lynas’s plans to process ore from its West Australian mine at the $US200 million ($194m) advanced materials plant in Malaysia are strongly opposed by community groups over fears of a repeat of the health problems associated with a Mitsubishi refinery at Bukit Merah that was closed in 1992.
Lynas executive chairman Nicholas Curtis said at the time the defamation case was launched that various groups had crossed the line between fact and defamation. The case against the Save Malaysia Stop Lynas group is to be heard tomorrow.
No wonder all the anti-Lynas groups/PR/FMT have been silent for a while. Well, this is how they operate, talk lots of nonsense without basis and when caught with their pants down, just kept quiet until this matter disappear.

I would like to read the juicy gossip or insider news about what went on behind the scenes in KOMTAR 28th floor. I read Stop The Lies for the scandals and stories only staff, reporters and other people connected to the office will know.
