Potong! Potong! Potong! ~ Dear Leader vs Warlord vs Godfather!

Something funny is happening with the DAP in Penang. Or should we say, something is wrong with the Indian family branch of DAP in Penang. The war between Karpal Singh and Ramasamy has escalated into slash and cut.

Banner and billboards bearing their images have been slashed by rival factions. The publicity material mounted in conjunction the consecration of a grand Hindu temple have been vandalised.

Images of Lord Murugan were spared. The vandals were apparently not so wicked as to vandalise the images of their Gods. They were only against Lord Karpal and Lord Ramasamy, the feuding godfather and warlord of DAP.

Images of the two leaders have been neatly cut out from the billboards and banners. Other leaders have been dragged into the fray. Lim Guan Eng’s face was also cut out. Oh oh. Dear Leader is not gonna like that. So disrespectful.

One faction would cut out the faces of those from the other side. Then the other faction would retaliate by cutting out the images of those from the other side.

Very kindergarten behaviour. I do you, you do me. So now we have lots of DAP billboards and banners in Penang which are full of holes.

And they think they are ready to rule Putrajaya. Dear Leader was reported to be very upset. Actually we think he is shivering. Without the Indian votes he is screwed in at least four state seats in Penang.

He is also shocked that they cut out his face. He thought the Indians love him. Don’t they appreciate that he and his wife wore Indian outfits for Deepavali So ungrateful and forgetful, these people.

DAP politics have spilt over into religion. Mr Karpal, what is going on? You should be above such childish behaviour. You saved Anwar from Sodomy 2 trial but you cannot save yourself and your cronies. And Dr Ramasamy, you are supposed to be an intellectual. You are now behaving like a hairdresser – cut, cut, cut. Can the two of you please grow up.

So sad. Everything going wrong for Dear Leader in Penang. Indians in the party are disunited, hills dying, Malays against him, wife still angry about Rainbow, Rainbow still angry with him.

Let’s face it. Dear Leader is a lousy leader. He cannot even manage a minority group in his party.

All he knows is gag order and I will sue you. All he is concerned about is publicity and more publicity for himself.

Guess what Dear Leader? We think Godfather and Warlord are going to cancel each other out come the general election and the Indian votes will go flying back to MIC.  If only we could also cut you out of Penang!

It is not about Warlord versus Godfather.. People fight because they have no food on the table. They fight against each another for survival.
Very sadly, these unfortunate people were forgotten after GE12. Nicely put, it is a case of tissue paper, throw aside after use.
Before GE12, they are neglected but some how they got minimal support. After GE12, they thought maybe someone new might help them to be better but turn out to be another hollow dream. This time worse, they were neglected, ignored and sidelined.

All because this leader who is suppose to help them did not do his job. He only rub shoulders with the big time developers and super rich. No time to help the poor. Why? Cos he think he cannot lose in Penang. His support is too strong for anyone to shake him. Minority can be sidelined. Money and power come first.

    • Penang God or Not ??? says:

Aiyah , you people disturb again, why so busybody one?. We worked very hard to cut this fellow photo, to cut that fellow and in the end we’ll kick out both fellows. Our Penang God said we must cut properly, but in the end my stupid friend with trembling hands cut the wrong photos (aiyah Penang Gods’ photo- lah) as he didn’t know Penang Gods’ face, so all photos were cut. Penang God is very angry but he said don’t worry, we’ll blame UMNO but we were sad because he cut our pay by 50% and stopped us from cutting until further notice. Now we have no job because you people disturb again.

  2. Anonymas says:

lol, Kg Buah Pala vendetta. Never forget how they (PR) cheated the heck out of those villagers.

    • Mac David says:

They pakat-pakat to cheat the people. That’s why they gave their alliance Pakatan Rakyat.
Kampung Buah Pala, already liwatted by Rear Admiral, now Jack says the Boundary also going to get liwat.

      • Usup says:

Sad to see BN uses cybertroopers (unemployed graduates?) to spread lies and nonsense.

        • Zoos says:

Tell that to the people of Kg Bush Pala.
Their betrayal by LGE and Anwar will never be forgotten.
Thank god UMNO gave the people homes today.
          This is the TRUTH.

        • Mac David says:

No lie one. just because Pakatan kuat tipu, you want to accuse me also tipu & nonsense. Haiyya.

          Me, not cybertroop.
Me already old, No gaji anymore. Nobody pay me. I write, because already fed-up, after 4years rule, but worst than BN. Last GE, I vote PR, because BN is bad.

Now PR, low cost housing, no build new, how to to live in Penang. Available low cost house, they gave to their crony. Some already have 2 or 3 house, on relative’s name. So they can make ‘house for rent’.

We, no ‘cables’ people how to cari makan.

          • Gods translation:- says:

            Mac David,
I tell you one secret, you don’t tell people. Penang God said don’t built low cost houses, how to make money for the state. Build only condos. and bungalows, so can get a lot of money. Side income also got, state income also got. Front got back got. Can also sell land to rich developers to build condos and bungalows. Again front got back got. Then can show people our state got money becos’ Penang God is clever to safe. Don’t spent money for cleaning and repairing facilities, ask the people to do the cleaning and repairing. They spent money to bring their friends and families to do the cleaning and repairing. We just said gotong-royong mah.. They happy, we more happy, we save money. We must make use of the people then we can save money and show our account got money. So people see got development, full of condos and bungalows. Poor people can go to the mainland where there are a lot of land mah.. why must stay in condos and bungalows. They poor not my problem. Previous govt. make them poor mah..not me. So Mac David, don’t let this Penang God story out, promise?

          • Dave says:

Now we must put gag order on you, so no more talking. LOL

  3. Ron says:

“Holey” “holey”"holey”…..now so any holes in Penang.. tch tch tch…sooner or later it will show up…. LGE must be trying to think hard to cover all those holes….. can’t think, can’t manage, can’t rule, can’t assist, can’t everything can’t anything but for developers and the likes everything also can, yes and go ahead all kowtim mah….. Penang you are so blessed by the leaders running you land and especially you holeliness the autocratic and undemocratic whose hobby is suing each and every opposing opinions… PR leaders all full of hpot air, cakap lebih, production tiada…..Penangites were taken for a ride and wonder if they should take another one comes the next GE…holy holy holy.. and put your trust in the goons running your land…. :)

    • Macha says:

Don’t worry. Just pay RM1 and all the holes can be covered. The 2 A’s in Pakatan was so good to stuck all this holes. Example, holes in toilet; front hole and back hole. Just name it and it’s is solve. This 2 A’ in Pakatan is renown for their speciality. Call the PAKATAN HOLESBUSTER 1800 101 101

  4. ray says:

    Poor Guan Eng

It must have been a shock to discover that red dot’s advice cannot work in Penang. Penangites are not like the kiasus.

    What a failed leadership.

  5. Shirly says:

Before 2008 general elections – Guan Eng says everthing also can, we will listen to the rakyat’s views because we represent the people

After 4 years – Guan Eng says Aiya, what for so many hills in Penang. The developers can go ahead to cut down the hills and build multi million homes more better ma.
I have no time to listen to the whinning and complaints of the Tanjong Bungah residents. I have more important things to do like having important lunches with my rich developer friends. After all they are the ones who will help finance me during the coming general elections.
I need to stay in power at all cost and it takes lots of money to ensure that the CM’s chair is still mine

    • Mac David says:

      Shirly.
      Me agree with you.

High grounds, cannot disturb, you know.
Global warming and all that tsunami, along that Andaman fault line. One day sea level rise, where Pulau Pinang people wants to run too? High ground already occupy by rich people. We orang miskin, mati tak apa ka?

CM must think for the future, ma. Not publicity crazy only.

  6. Michael from Penang says:

    Dear Editor,

I came across your website when it was mentioned in The Star online today. I was curious about your website and clicked “About Us”. It describe your website as a website dedicated to individuals/people who are sick of lies from both sides of the political divide.

That being said, your articles seem to be full of adjectives that seem to deride the leaders of the political parties. Shouldn’t it be straight to the point and more objective?

Let me state that I am not a fond follower of DAP nor the BN. Too long have the rakyat been taken for a ride. I too am looking for the “truth” wherever it may be. However, from what I can read, your news reporting seem to carry a slant (From this article and other articles before this).

There is no need to deride anybody. Just report it as it is please. I am sick and tired of the icings on the cake. I just want to eat the cake and see it for what it is.

    • Dave says:

You will find here, more Pro-Gov’t and BN leaning ppl.
As for a slant, please tell me what media outlet or blog does not have a slant?
But sir just sit back and read for yourself, read both sides then figure what side you would rather be on.
For myself I am a conservative thus I like BN, but if you are liberal/progressive then you my friend would support PKR.

      • Michael from Penang says:

        Dear Dave,

        Thank you for your input.

Perhaps I should have rephrased my sentence to “Can the news reported here be less slanted and stick to what has happened?”

Both sides – can I stick to none of the both sides? Perhaps not for now – which is sad to note. However, it is refreshing to be writing to a sound man above the noise generated here – and everywhere else for that matter. Many cannot look beyond their rhetorical ramblings.

        • Moo says:

Dear Michael from Penang, you sound like a nice gentleman from Penang. This is not the site for you. It is full of nasty people like use who cannot stand DAP and PKR hypocrites and who are have no big love for Umno etc. But I guess, the sentiments against DAP are quite strong because I notice lots of adjectives as you put it whenever the discussion turns to DAP, Dear Leader and the likes.
My suggestion to you is relax, take walks in your neighbourhood, spend time with your children, watch Astro. Then if you still have time to spare, come to this website and join us in some politician bashing. Believe me, it’s better than going to the gym.

          • Dave says:

No Moo going to gym is better. I am just a gym rat.
Michael, I do understand what you are going through in Penang as the US is going through the same with Mr. Obama. While I did vote for him, I will not make that mistake twice. With him in power I realized that I am a conservative, and will not support any progressive gov’t as they are bad for business. They love to make promises that they can’t deliver, so in the US and in Penang we had Dear Leader.

        • anoint says:

actually hah, fond or not , DAP is the worst choice of the two.

      • Penang God or Not ??? says:

        Hey Michael,
How are you Penang people? Good or not? Ho boh?? Oo lang cheow koh lu boh ??. Anyway here what you say will be published whether you are left or right, blue yellow or green. Whereas in certain Pro-Pakatan blogs, when you criticised their “Gods”, they will condemned you like hell and deleted your reply as their ‘Gods’ cannot stand criticisms. Welcome folks to our open world where you can even scold your boss here and still go to work the next morning , feeling better….

        • Penang God or Not ??? says:

Before I forget, Michael, be careful of all those DAP & Pakatan cybertroopers using different names, copy and paste their old old stories trying to distort what is being discussed. They have been instructed by their masters to sabotage anything said against their masters, the untouchables, god-send people.

    • Uncle Usin says:

Faced with the real and high possibility of defeat in GE13, BN especially umnoputras who can still find ways to “korek, korek, korek” are making their last round of plundering before they exit Putrajaya. Examples like Lynas and Penang port that are against public sentiment are pushed through at the expense of losing popular votes. Its now “filling up my pockets is more urgent than saving the sinking BN ship” for them.

      • Retro Blue says:

‘Examples like Lynas and Penang port that are against public sentiment’ – errr…speak for yourself. You view do not represent me and people like me.

      • Mac David says:

Politician in PKR Selangor is doing the same. All in a hurry to fill their pockets, then cuci-tangan. They are afraid already. GE 13, they can become the opposition. Khir Toyo, also kena, last time. That’s why we trust BN, now. Last GE, we don’t.

Lynas, only minority don’t agree. If the plant build in PR states, sure no problem. But then the BN fellas, will oppose, instead. Reasons can be picked, from from the sky. Just highlight some doubt, especially that concern public’s health. Not so clever people, easy to be cheated, you know.

    • ray says:

      Hey Mike

STL is a fun blog providing updates. The “slant” is just creative reporting.

“straight to the point and more objective” is boring lah. There are other sites that does that.

    • Macha says:

That’s you will find in the Pakatan slanting in Scorpean and Altantuya issue. All the comment and news here is not slanting but more to sharing; exposing and friendly My Way type of writing.

  7. Janji Ditepati says:

Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir today pushed for greater media freedom, disagreeing with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s view that liberalisation has caused Malaysians to be more race conscious.

Finally, a proof that one can regain his senses after leaving Umno for good!

    • Retro Blue says:

Why did LGE banned Utusan from covering his events? Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir is losing his credibility.

    • Ergo says:

That old goat is waaaaaay past his prime. I don’t know la what that guy is up to. Maybe he wants to be a PM also kot?

      • Macha says:

Tun Mahathir retired voluntary from his PM post and enjoying his retirement. He created lots of legacy in our nation building. He know when to stop eating.
BTW please remind Karpal; Kit Siang; Hadi Awang and especially Nik Aziz when they will DIE in the post. It seem that the fellas who urging Tun M to retire is still wanted to hold their position till they DIE.

    • Mac David says:

Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir is sour grape. BN don’t give what he wants, so he become angry, then form new party. Rear Admiral is worst, just for the sake to become PM, he make new Party. Almost all that people rejected from BN, go join PR. How to trust these people PR, like this?

      • Macha says:

Some call him Mr Bow Tie but I called him Penguin. Some people once they lost their power become senile. With their lavish spending their saving is lesser. So maybe by crossing over to FUCKatan green field he think he will get to eat some grass

  8. C Santiago says:

Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak goes around town trying to engage different communities with his 1Malaysia rhetoric which aims at national integration through racial unity. But his men don’t get it, do they? And Najib himself has kept painfully mum when Ambiga was targeted.

Malaysians sent a strong message at the rally, demanding electoral reforms. The crowd that turned up cut across a diverse segment of the society.

And the government is still reeling from the hit it took – not just because it was unprepared to handle a politically maturing society but also because of the backlash it suffered due to arbitrary and excessive force by the police.

Almost a year after the rally, the government is yet to implement durable reforms ahead of a general election, which is described as one that would be the dirtiest in the country’s political history.

Instead, we have seen Najib throwing money to buy votes.

But all the cash handouts and speeches peppered with racial undertones, threats of a looming disaster if Umno loses power plus promises of even more money to the people have not worked to shift the sentiments on the ground.

People are fed up of a corrupt government. People are fed up of the ruling elite lining its pockets. People are fed up of race-based policies. People are fed up of widespread discrimination.

In short, the people want a change and the BN politicians are growing out of ideas to hoodwink the public.

So we have a few stupid men talking nonsense.

Malaysia became the laughing stock of the world when international headlines highlighted the “butt exercise” by former soldiers outside Ambiga’s house to embarrass and harass her.

While there was no official statement checking this indecent incident, the police came to the aid of traders who set up burger stalls outside her home to make up for losses sustained during the rally calling for electoral reforms.

Deputy police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said they could not act against the traders as they were in a public space.

And recently Ambiga was slapped with a half-a-million ringgit fine for alleged damage to the capital city during the rally.

If anything, such continued victimisation of Ambiga has only angered the people even more.

The government might think that it can cleverly rely on pure fluff that pours out of the mouths of ruling politicians to divert attention from much-needed electoral reforms.

Such thinking is archaic. And the government is better off getting used to the idea that its stronghold on power is slipping fast.

    • BFF says:

      C Santiago,
Just because you are angry about what those fellas are doing to Ambiga, don’t assume other people feel like you. For your information, we are angry at Ambiga for all her street politics with her best friends Lim Guan Eng, Hadi Awang and Anwar Ibrahim. Have a nice day.

    • Dave says:

What a bunch of utter nonsense. If Malaysians all support what Bershit was selling you would not have only had 25k or so, you would have had 25million. Please go back to your writers and tell them this SHIT ain’t workin no more as we see thru it.

    • Mac David says:

      That’s what we call Democracy.
Not everybody agree with anything, anybody else do or say. If the minority Bersih can create havoc, injured police officers, damage public property and disrupt public business , why the minorities, effected by Bersih rally, cannot do ‘but exercise’, which is peaceful. Police also keep watch on them, but they don’t beat-up the police. When police say they must stop, they stopped. They abide the law.
But the Bersih people, mainly LAWyers, who are suppose to uphold the law, go against what they expected to uphold.

      Other people do cannot.
      You do , OK.
      What democracy is that?

    • ray says:

      Poor Santiago

Are you a foreigner? Your propaganda sounds quite tired and desperate. We enjoy the amburger sale and the healthy butt-xercise.

We also support accountability in “potential” leaders like ambiga. She was a stateless person, became Malaysian, went through unhindered education, got herself a legal qualification, permitted practice and even became Bar Council President.

Now she receives funds from a foreign country to turn against the Malaysian government by agitating the 25kmotley crowd for something that the crowd never understood. Some cried “down with BN, some shouted reformasi”. They wore green, yellow and other rainbow colours.

You still insist this motley 25k crowd is united for “free and fair elections”?? Personally I believe ambiga will do much better to educate the world on the human rights abuse of the caste system.

      • Mac David says:

        You thought.
She should instead champion to do way with the caste system or other gomen policies, which affected the Rakyat. e.g:
        1. re-establish English medium school such that exist in 70′s or SRJK(E).
        2. reduce motor insurance fees
        3. reduce/abolish internet charges
        4. do away with AP & reduce price of motor vehicle.
        5. reduce religious activity during normal schooling hours, nor matters what religion.
        6. reduce toll rate, especially for old + congested like Federal highway.
        7. if highway is jam, >1hr, for whatever reason, they must refund at least 50%.
