The tax payers financed bulletin was full of news of only Lim Guan Eng, his wife Betty, the DAP goons, their businessmen cronies and one or two PKR fellas – in that order.
Of course Lim Guan Eng was featured in almost every photo – 51 photos in 28 pages to be exact. A picture says a thousand words. That would come out to 51×1,000=51,000 words.
The person responsible for that amazing figure called Chan Lilian who seems to be Dear Leader’s No 1 admirer. She is his chief publicity officer and also the assistant editor of Bulletin Mutiara.
According to her friends, she is very loud and talks a lot. Typical of DAP people. All talk and no action.
She blogs under Obnoxious 5xmom. We won’t make any comments about her mothering skills because her sons look really cute but she is probably obnoxious as she herself believes.
Back to her role as Lim Guan Eng’s publicist. She follows him everywhere with a video camera mounted on a tripod – no lah, the tripod is not referring to her. It’s a real tripod.
She also has a camera hanging around her neck at all times, ready to shoot at every single thing that Dear Leader does. Every move he makes must be captured for posterity, you know.
She also wants to record every word he says so that the world will remember all the great statements that fall from his mouth. Er Miss Chan, did you also record those famous words, “You write, I will sue you! You see what I will do to you.”
We think not. The thing about these DAP people is that they can only see bad things in other people. When it comes to them, they see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil about Dear Leader.

I voted for Pakatan last GE. But I didn’t know that they were going to nominate a non-Penangite as the CM. I felt cheated. There are other Penangite DAPs that are better in terms of governance. But I gave LGE the benefit of a doubt. But he didn’t deliver. And he has brought shame to Penangites as he didn’t understand us well and clear. Maybe he chose not to. Until when? That is a question that I am not able to answer directly. Living in the Jelutong constituency, one will have no choice but to vote for DAP or MCA.
I was one of those Malays with the “Give them a chance for 1 term” mentality. The first 2 years after they’ve won, I didn’t pay much attention to their mistakes and blaming strategies as I believe these were teething issues in governing. The next 2 years, I just couldn’t accept them anymore.
The question is, if their governing is as bad or worse than BN, and if I vote for BN come GE13, it will still be the same, no? That’s why I’m thinking of abstaining.
Hey guys, the Penag government goons actually apologise for the 51 photos. Claimed it was a technical slip-up. But how can putting 51 photos in a newsletter be a technical slip-up? Sound more like arse-licking gone overboard.
How can it be slip up? IMHO, this is a deliberate PR exercise to shore up support for LGE and LGE only.
Do they know how much time you need to spend to put in cut and edit the pictures, space them out nicely, arrange them to get smooth flow of information. Most importantly, the Editor has to approve them. It involved the CM’s pics so more attention has to be given on this assignment. It has to be deliberate course of public relations at work.
This “technical slip-up” has denied other members of DAP / Pakatan Raayat of their exposure in the eyes of public. It is like LGE is taking all the credit while all other people in his Government is invisible, therefore the public do not know of what they had been doing.

Guan Eng and his DAP team are all hypocrites. During the previous reign of BN in Penang ( which I was very much against- The useless Sotong head), they were against various developments. They were against PGCC. They were against PORR. They were against reclamation of land. They were against everything and for everything that can gain popularity among the voters. For them, they are all temporary measures for political gain. Anything goes, as long as they can be in power first. Then worry later.
Today, they are all towards development. Cut the hills, fill the sea… it doesnt matter to them anymore. Cos they are already in power. Whatever have been said before, they are just means to “achieve better governance” through their leadership. Believe me, if they have it their way, they would bring back PGCC and PORR and become the ppl’s champion by bringing in “needed” development and investment to Penang and then claim it as their success.
When we stopped PGCC, we lost the biggest private investment in Malaysian history for development (around $4billion-larger than the KLCC). If I knew back then, I wouldnt have protested like everyone else. Because of all their story spinning, I believed them. I feel sorry for what I did. But they were so good in their story spinning, I believed them. I just think that it is time for everyone to know better who they were and still are.

Just read blog by BigCat who said she was giggling since breakfast at the thought of 51 pictures of publicity freak from Penang. She has never seen anything like that in her life. Bigcat, trouble with Penang is its current and last CM suffer from limelight disease.
She is from Johor and compared the Johor state newsletter Holistik to Penang Mutiara. Holistik has 36 pages (Mutiara 28 pages), but carried only 6 photos with MB’s face. What a gap between the two regimes.
